"Progress is not achieved by luck or accident but by working on yourself daily" -Epictetus. This morning I went to do some exercises with a friend, who is a certified trainer and some people of his gym. His focus is more recreational than competitive, so is different from what I'm used to. It was a 30 minute workout of bodyweight and cardio. It was not a AMRAP or max effort, Everybody would do it at their own pace or scale according to their capacity. I did it as I know, running fast, pistol squating deep, lowering in the push ups and focusing on technique when doing some movements I've never done before. I was looking for a good time and it delivered. On the other hand, it felt really good to hear his feedback about my physical condition during and after the workout.
