Today I’m trying my hand at meal prepping🤗 chicken with broccoli, cauliflower, and zucchini. The sauce is made out of blended cauliflower, milk, cheese replacement, and a little bit of Parmesan cheese for flavor😋 today’s workout was a mix of arms and abs. I kept cardio to a minimum because my legs are STILL dead from monday😅 this week I’ve really been trying to focus on removing soda from my diet, as that is the biggest issue of mine. Granted I hate taking after pictures at night because I think they aren’t true I can never get this clients after during the day because it takes about 3-4 hours to do her hair!!! We started at black and we’ve worked our way to ashy blonde with a contrasting dark root! It took us 3 sessions that were around $300-$400 a session. Her hair is in great condition because we use @redken phbonder every step of the way and take out sweet time!!! SWIPE LEFT TO SEE HER BEFORE 😮😮

The triceps are finally coming out! I love training upper body at the gym. Some women have expressed to me that they don’t want to strength train because they are afraid they’ll look like a man. I lift for about 90 min on average at the gym and I don’t think I look like a man, right? 😂 Strength training has completely changed my body mentally and physically. I’ve leaned out so much since lifting verse just cardio. The more lean muscle mass you have the more calories you burn throughout the day. At almost age 40 I never thought I’d actually feel this strong. I love that everyone gravitates towards different types of exercise. It’s about finding a balance of what type that you enjoy but that also challenges you. So if you are thinking of changing it up or are just tired of not seeing results with your current program don’t be afraid of using machines and free weights. Who needs a workout?! #workoutwednesday 💥 is here. This is Trainer @luismontoyafit explaining how to train those triceps! ((SWIPE)) _ 1st: Super set front /reverse single arm push downs. 15 reps each no rest. Focus on the squeeze at the bottom and control your negatives.This is a conditioning exercise. • 2nd: Cable skull crushers drop set. This is a mass builder that will help you get that long head and build separation with in the two triceps. 15 reps on your heavy set and drop to a 60% of your max rep weight finishing with a 12 rep count. Keep your elbows isolated and facing forward at all times. Never compromise form over weight. • 3rd: Single arm overhead Tricep press.Lower the dumbbell behind your head. Press up focusing on a Tricep squeeze at the peak of the exercise. Lower the weight controlling the eccentric/negative motion to your starting position. Use a weight you can perform a full range of motion. • 4th: Single arm cable Tricep kickbacks. Tuck your elbows into your ribs isolating your elbow. Kick the cable back into a 3 to 1 tempo count. Controlling the movement through the whole exercise. Make sure your core is tight and hips out. Have fun! Hii guys ⚡️ soooerr I wanted to give a lil update on my bulking sitchatation👇🏼 . I’ve been increasing my calories (probably a little faster than I should be but 🤷🏽‍♀️) to about 300 calories above my maintenance level ( the amount of calories you burn on average in a day). I’ve been struggling to get all my calories in but I need to remind myself to allow my body to GRADUALLY adjust to a different training intensity to work up a bigger appetite. So before I know it I’m sure I’ll be hungry alll the time lol 🍽I’ve been adding chia seeds to things, an extra egg yolk to my breakfast, and I switched to a “heavier” bread to help add some calories in. . As for the gym I’ve been starting to bump up my weights. Nothing crazy yet (obviously) but slowly but surely. I’m still continuing to train legs about every two days because that’s what I’ve found works best for my body 🙏🏼🍑 gonna be doin hip thrusts, Squats, & leg presses while I’m sleeeepin by the end of this winta 😂 . If any of you guys are starting on the weight gain train like me - here’s to patience, consistency, lots of protein & da good carbs, heavy lifts, & self love no matter how much extra fluff comes with 🤟🏽⭐️ .
