I wish I can explain to you guys the level of joy I feel right now. After almost two months of not squatting, came right back to complete 5 sets of 3 reps with 405 lbs (after hitting 455). I was not expecting to have any strength at all. I was so ready for squats today it's not even funny, I had so much adrenaline built up and so much energy. So damn grateful to be this healthy and strong so late in the game. Sn: on the last rep my hamstrings pretty much gave out but nice to see I can pretty much do a "goodmorning" with 405 on my back lol. #power #powerlifting #powerliftingmotivation #gym #legs #squat #back

#불꽃남자 오늘도 몸이 부디 좋아지길 바란다..

Bench press went good but wasn't happy with how bad my lean was. Worse than usual and did feel a little bit off balance because of it. Going to be working on form and higher reps with lighter weight for awhile. I lift too heavy on bench anyway. Still for my top sets got a set of 4 315, set of 5 fail 315, set of 4 315, set of 5 225 slow and long pauses, set of 10 225 controlled pauses and a set of 16 225 controlled reps. Volume PR. Just another exercise I got to start switching it up on to improve and grow more from. Plus not trying to get an injury. 365 will come one day but I'll wait on that goal once I know I got it 100% clean. 🙏

Pull ups and pull downs are my bread and butter workouts for my lats along with shrugs. Didn't do shrugs just because I'm still being fairly easy on my lower back. Did concentration pull ups for 3 sets and a set of 5 second pause pull ups (holds at the top). Then did a few sets of closer grip behind the neck pull downs to really finish off my upper lats and target my traps. Felt good. Need to switch it up every now and then. Powered by @garciasupps_sb

PALAMR REFLEX!!!(@posturepro) . . The Palmar Reflex is a primitive reflex that is seen in infants when they grip an object that touches their palm. . . In this video, I am testing the reflex and, as you can see, upon gently stroking the hand, there is an immediate flexion that occurs. This shows a positive result . . In the context of everyday life, this reflex is needed for hand-eye coordination, proper vision, and direction/distance judgement. If it isn’t properly integrated, it can contribute to an array of problems . . . ✍️ Poor handwriting, Poor pencil grip, Poor fine muscle control, Poor dexterity, Poor fine motor skills, Poor vision coordination Incorrect posture when using hands, Back aches when sitting Sticking out ones tongue when using their hands, Poor pencil grip Poor ability to put thoughts to paper, Dysgraphia Speech and language problems Anger control issues . . Even if they don’t display any of these symptoms, it is a good idea to do this quick test. There may be other functions that are affected by it that are still unknown . . TO TEST - have your client hold their hands out toward you with arms straight, palms open flat and up. Brush along their life line crease, starting between their thumb and finger, then across their palm toward their wrist. Do this 3 times. Look for any twitching in their fingers or elbows, or a slight bend either. Do this on both hands. If either hand or elbow shows movement, the reflex is most likely present. . . TO FIX - Rub the palm of the hand with a pointy object, like the tip of a pen or a fork. JAW AND POSTURE - YOUR TONGUE(@posturepro) 👅 Put your tongue on your palate and breathe for 60 seconds: you will not believe what will start to happen to your body . . It might seem strange but there are different tongue exercises techniques that can help a great deal with many things like nasal breathing and posture 👃 . . All you have to do is touch the roof of your mouth (palate) with your tongue, relax your face, close your lips and then just breathe . . 👊🏻 With nasal breathing, you also get rid of waste products and toxins from your body. Through breathing, we bring not only oxygen to our body but also calm our sympathetic system down . . ✅ The correct tongue position is where the tongue rests up in the roof of the mouth, with the tip nestling behind the front teeth. With the tongue in this position it is harder to breathe through your mouth. . . 👉🏼Try this exercise to switch to nose breathing - touch the palate with the tip of your tongue and leave it there until you inhale. Take a deep breath with your nose. Inhale for a good 4-5 second and then when you exhale, lower the tongue and let it rest anywhere in your mouth. Try this same process 7 to 10 times and you will feel very relaxed and you will also find it easier to fall asleep after trying this method . . Another way to do this is that you can also keep the tongue in the correct position against the roof and the front teeth to help you breathe through the nose and not the mouth while sleeping. Ultimately changing your breathing patterns is the permanent way to go! 💪 . . I’m so lucky to be in LA 🇱🇷 escaping Montreal’s cold weather! More importantly, I’m giving a course to a new batch of smart and promising practitioners! I can’t wait to see what they end up doing with the new tools and brain hacks they have learned! Strength of the rotator cuff, particularly the external rotators, is critical for a healthy shoulder. 🏋️‍♀️ 🔎 Research has shown that sidelying external rotation is your biggest bang for your buck exercise for the infraspinatus. It has the highest EMG activity, lowest capsular strain, and is really easy to perform and progress with more weight. ⏪Greater degrees of abduction still results in significant rotator cuff activity, and also is a more specific position for the throwing athlete. . Prone external rotation has high EMG activity and is performed in the prone position, offering additional benefit for the mid trap and low trap. Plus it is performed at 90 degrees, which alters the capsular strain. . ER tubing at 0 degrees with a towel also shows his EMG activity, especially if performed with a towel between the body and the arm, which is show to increase ENG activity by >20% .
