I refuse to be paralyzed by perfectionism! CONFESSION: I have let my blaster sit next to my bed for the last year, after only using it twice. Yes, that’s right. It’s in the “I must have this” graveyard, right along with my freaking instant pot. 🤣 Often times, I don’t start something because I want it to be just right. I want to do a full body blast or have a perfect schedule of body parts I rotate through during the week. And while I’m at it? A pretty schedule would be nice, too. But guess what? I’m a working mom. I’m busy AF. Things are NEVER perfect. There is no perfect time! And I myself am certainly not perfect. So why do I stop myself from doing things I want to do, just because they won’t be perfect? Excuse my mouth, but EFF THAT. When I started my fitness journey, I took it one single day at a time. One food choice, one workout. 100 pounds later, I have maintained that loss for 4 years and help other people do it too. And guess what? NONE OF IT WAS PERFECT. I have been doing some pretty serious personal development over the last few months, to make myself a better leader for my team, wife for my husband, and mother to my kids. My hair is the very worst for being dry and I rarely ever apply heat to it! The only thing I’ve found that works so far is bathing my hair in coconut oil! Oct 18 This short "no weights" workiut was soooo easy to fit in today. No prep getting out all the dumbbells, no Energize, no intense pep talk... Just a mat and a laptop and less than 30 minutes ❤️ Four years ago I lost a bunch of weight and inches with PiYo, even through travelling and moving. I ate as clean as possible, drank a lot of water, focused on positive vibes, and learned a lot about how my body handles certain foods and stress. It was an awesome experience for sure :). I've had success with other fitness programs too, but this one was my first big win ❤️. Do you have a soulmate workout? One that you can always count on to make you feel good?
