DAY 51 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• The land taken on the east side of the Jordan gets divided between Reuben and Gad as their possession. And then the half tribe of Manasseh gets some too....they get Bashan which is called the land of the Rephaim. Rephaim means "walking dead"...frightening these giants. Now stop here and take the time right now to read all of Psalm 22...it is a prophetic Psalm that talks all about Jesus...it's too long to paste here but I want you to please stop and read it. Do you see it...in verse 12? Many bulls encompass me; strong bulls of Bashan surround me; Bulls in here in Hebrew means "mighty ones"....does that give you some insight as to who was around Jesus on the cross aside from the Pharisees, onlookers, guards....creepy right? Oh people we all need to know that there is a spiritual battle RAGING all around us......this kingdom battle that was set in heaven before the world ever existed was in full force around Jesus when He walked the earth and it is in full force around us now. We carry His Holy Spirit.....we are under attack....bulls all around us. DAY 50 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• Now look at how the city of refuge can be seen as a picture of Christ.....as long as we are found in Christ, we are safe and we will have eternal life. If we are not found in Him, then we are going to die outside of Him in darkness...cut off from Love forever. Jesus speaks about this in a parable in Matthew 22:11-14 regarding a person trying to enter the wedding feast in Heaven without being found in the Body of Christ, or the Bride of Christ as it is alluded to here. The King, of course, is Jesus- “But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw there a man who had no wedding garment. And he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you get in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless. Then the king said to the attendants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and cast him into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’ For many are called, but few are chosen.” If a person is not found in Christ (our Refuge)...and counted as the part of the Bride, they will be cast out into eternal darkness according to Jesus. ••••• READ THE FULL BLOG POST @ inJesusName.net and subscribe there for FREE to get the blog delivered straight to your email!•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #bible #blogtilyoudrop #christ #jesus #biblejournaling #bibleverse #bibleblog #bible365 #biblejquotes #bibleverses #christian #christianwoman #christianblogger #christianblog #christianbloggers #jesuschrist #christianwriter #christianity #365bible #bibleinayear #readyourbible #bibleblogger #biblebloggers

Good listen so far...

Devotional #15. . 🎚Bible Verses: Genesis 3:18-19, 22-23 “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.” .... And the Lord God said, ‘The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.’ So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.” . 💭Thoughts: These are tough passages. While I don’t believe God wants us to wallow in shame after sinning, sin does have consequences: Eve is cursed to painful childbirth and Adam is cursed to struggle to bring forth crops. And both will die and return to the dust from which they were made. So sin results in a life of struggle. We don’t live in paradise. Life is tough. It seems that today so many people are preaching the prosperity gospel and teaching that happiness is a right we are entitled to. But I think this sets us up for disappointment. Life on this earth is toil. We were designed to work hard, to labor in order to eat and to bring forth children, all while navigating thorns. This earth isn’t paradise (yet). . But that doesn’t mean life should be hard everyday. God also designed us to experience joy and periods of peace. I believe we must accept the thorns of life but we must also learn to celebrate, to find joy daily, and to appreciate times of peace. We can and do get so wrapped up in toil that we forget to be joyful. . 💡Try It: Happiness and prosperity are possible but more importantly, we must find our purpose. Purpose leads to joy and fulfillment. We all have a purpose. Your work may be your purpose or your work may provide income so you can pursue your purpose separately or your purpose may be raising your family. What is your purpose? What were you put here to do? How will your story, rooted in toil, help others? What can you find joy in today?

DAY 49 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• Moses is angry and tells the men to kill all the male babies and all the women except for those who are virgins. This might be upsetting to you....God instructing them to go above and beyond with the women and boy baby killing. I can only point you to the fact that these women were taking their own children and putting them on the heated Baal statue and burning them to death. All babies go right into the arms of Jesus so either way, these children go straight to heaven at their death.....at least this way the risk is taken out that these children (boys) will grow up and want to seek revenge on the Israelites for wiping out their people the Midianites. It is not something we will ever completely understand but I can see that God would not want to risk Israel being attacked from the inside in the future or the nation being hood winked by the Midianite women again. Not easy to digest but God loves Israel a TON and it must survive in order for Jesus to come from it’s line. ••••• READ THE FULL BLOG POST @ inJesusName.net and subscribe there for FREE to get the blog delivered straight to your email!•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #bible #blogtilyoudrop #christ #jesus #biblejournaling #bibleverse #bibleblog #bible365 #biblejquotes #bibleverses #christian #christianwoman #christianblogger #christianblog #christianbloggers #jesuschrist #christianwriter #christianity #365bible #bibleinayear #readyourbible #bibleblogger #biblebloggers

Devotional #14. . 🎚Bible Verse: Genesis 3:11-13 “And he said, ‘Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?’ The man said, ‘The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.’ Then the Lord God said to the woman, ‘What is this you have done?’ The woman said, ‘The serpent deceived me, and I ate’.” . 💭Thoughts: Oh my. Right at the dawn of man we have original temptation followed by original sin followed immediately by original blame. God asks Adam what he’s done and he blames Eve for his sin. So God asks Eve what she’s done and she blames the serpent. So much is made of temptation and sin but where are the sermons on original blame?! . One of my favorite videos of all time is Brene Brown’s 3 minute video on Blame. She says Blame gives us a sense of control and helps us dissipate discomfort and pain. But it also means we are not accountable for our actions and we don’t hold others accountable for theirs - and it also means we miss the opportunity for honesty, forgiveness and empathy. . 💡Try It: Are you a Blamer of others or a self-blamer? Either way, spending time blaming gets you nowhere. I’m a world-class Blamer and need to join the Blamers Anonymous group in Brene’s video (fictional, of course). But I’m learning that blame is as pointless as it is ancient. God know what you did and why. Wouldn’t it have been better for Adam and Eve to have said, “Yes, God. I disobeyed you and I’m deeply sorry. What should I do now? Please forgive me.” . So own your actions. Accept the consequences, ask forgiveness, repent, and move forward. The blame-game is part of being human but it will stick you down in anger. Hold the responsibility party - you or another - accountable with compassion and grace. And then move on. . Please watch Brene’s video on Blame here. It’s genius. @brenebrown https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IL1JgIj3_fA

DAY 48 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• Blood, atonement, process.....it takes obedience and a lot of effort to be able to have God dwell in the midst of the people of Israel. Same with Jesus on the cross....this was no little feat He accomplished getting the Holy Spirit to live in us...He gave it all for us up there. Try to remember that everyday by preaching the gospel to yourself daily. What I mean by that is tell your salvation story to yourself every day....the story of what Jesus saved you out of and how He gave you new life. I will tell you from experience, it is life and perspective changing if you daily remind yourself of what the gospel meant to your life personally. If you do not have a story, and cannot point to when you personally met Jesus and how your life was changed after you started following Him, then I would ask yourself...."Am I truly saved?"...."Do I know what my life was like before Jesus, and what it is like after Him?" If you are questioning these things...please contact me at info@inJesusName.net and let's make sure you are in the Family of God and born again of the Spirit and going to be in heaven together. Devotional #13. . 🎚Bible Verse: Genesis 3:8-9 “And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord called to Adam and said to him, ‘Where are you’?” . 💭Thoughts: Well this left me stumped: Can you hide from God? Why did God call to Adam and Eve? Doesn’t He know everything? So I turned to my favorite study bible, the HCSB Study Bible, for help. It says this, “God took the initiative in reaching out to sinful humanity. This pattern - humanity sinning, then God seeking out sinners - becomes the primary theme of the rest of the Bible. It’s ultimate expression is found in Jesus Christ, who came to seek and save people alienated from God because of their sin; in Him God once again walked on the earth in search of sinners. The all-knowing God asked Adam, ‘Where are you?’ to encourage Adam to face his sin.” . 💡Try It: When we sin, we feel the same fear and shame that Adam and Eve felt and we try to hide from God. We stuff our sin down inside us, hoping that no one will find out, especially God. But we know God knows everything. God knows your sin. He doesn’t want to know what you’ve done - He already knows - He wants to know where you are. Where are you today? Approach God and face your sin. Ask His forgiveness so you can let it out of your heart and mind and body and stop hiding and harboring. Pent up sin is a recipe for illness. God knows anyway. Let Him forgive you today.

DAY 47 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• You will see in the census that Zelophehad has no sons to take over his inheritance.....we see his daughters coming forward in this chapter to point that fact out to Moses and Eleazar....and to tell them it isn't fair that their family name should die out because their dad had no son. Moses goes to the Lord to enquire about this matter. God says that the daughters are right...the daughters should inherit the land and keep the family name going. God also says if no daughter is available to give the inheritance to then it goes to the brothers...no brothers then to his father's brothers...and if no father's brothers then to the nearest kinsmen. This is an important passage to keep in mind as we study further as we will see inheritances passed around here and there and it is good to know why. This passage is also important because it proves that God values women. Many people think the Old Testament is all male dominated....and it is in ways...but these verses show how much God sees women as capable to continue a family and keep the homestead going just as well as a man could. A lot of women out there are saying "amen" right now...I feel it...lolol! ••••• READ THE FULL BLOG POST @ inJesusName.net and subscribe there for FREE to get the blog delivered straight to your email!•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #bible #blogtilyoudrop #christ #jesus #biblejournaling #bibleverse #bibleblog #bible365 #biblejquotes #bibleverses #christian #christianwoman #christianblogger #christianblog #christianbloggers #jesuschrist #christianwriter #christianity #365bible #bibleinayear #readyourbible #bibleblogger #biblebloggers

Devotional #12. . 🎚Bible Verse: Genesis 3:4-7 “Then the serpent says to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.” . 💭Thoughts: This is packed with themes we have been discussing: . 1️⃣Original Deception: Satan is deceptive and he makes Eve doubt herself and God’s word. 2️⃣Original Desire: Eve wants to partake of something pleasing to the eye, despite knowing it’s not good for her and forbidden by God. 3️⃣Original Pride: Eve wants to be wise, like God. This is our wanting to be “Tri-Omni” as discussed previously. 4️⃣Original Sin: Eve partakes of the one fruit forbidden by God. 5️⃣Original Sin-Sharing. Eve not only defies God, but she invites Adam to join her. Sin feels safer in pairs, right? 6️⃣Original Shame: After defying God, Adam and Eve discover the nightmare of shame, something God didn’t originally plan. . Why?! Seriously: Why?! Adam and Eve live in paradise and only have one rule: don’t eat from one tree. I’m positive paradise was chock full of delicious food. So how could Adam and Eve screw this up so bad? . Well, because the Bible is essentially just stories of humanness. And these lines are packed with humanness: desire for things that are pleasing, desire for the forbidden, desire to be all-knowing, desire for others to join us in sin. It doesn’t matter if God has one rule or 10 rules, we are going to break them. But remember this: Satan is no joke. He’s cunning and powerful. He will tempt you and he will win sometimes. Sin Navigation is the essence of being human and definitely of being Christian. . 💡Try It: No matter how hard we try, we still sin, and then hammer ourselves for it. But remember, Adam and Eve sinned when they only had one rule. Give yourself Grace to be human today.

DAY 46 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• Just as an amazing random factoid for you- Did you know the first long distance Morse code message was sent on May 25, 1844...174 years ago. When the dots and ashes were decoded, the paper tape recording of the historic message transmitted by Samuel F. B. Morse read, "What hath God wrought?" Morse sent it from the Supreme Court room in the U.S. Capitol in Washington to his assistant, Alfred Vail, in Baltimore. Across the top of the artifact of his historic achievement Morse has given credit to Annie Ellsworth, the young daughter of a good friend, for suggesting the message he sent. She found it right here in Numbers 23:23. If you are wondering what "wrought" means...it is the past tense of "work"..."What has God worked." Devotional #11. . 🎚Bible Verse: Genesis 3:2-3 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” . 💭Thoughts: Yesterday, we talked about how Satan cleverly engaged Eve by asking her a deceptive question. Today, let’s talk about Eve’s reply. Eve tells Satan that God said if they ate from the tree in the midst of the garden that they would die. But she does something curious: she adds that God said if they even touched the tree that they would surely die. As we know, God didn’t say that. We don’t know why Eve added to God’s word. God had only one rule and it was simple. So why did Eve complicate it? . I don’t know the answer to this but I do know that as humans, we spend a lot of time complicating God’s word. We add to His word and we subtract to His word and I believe this is the root of many troubles. . 💡Try It: Have you studied God’s word yourself? I spent 3 years reading and studying the Bible and I was so surprised by God’s words because I had never studied them or read them in their entirety myself. I realized that I made a lot of additions and subtractions to His word in my head over many years. Try reading the Bible for 20 minutes per day. Study God’s word as it was written. Resist adding or subtracting to His word. His word will give you comfort, wisdom and guidance - it doesn’t need to be complicated.

Devotional #10. . 🎚Bible Verse: Genesis 3:1 “Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And He said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” . 💭Thoughts: Satan is cunning. He doesn’t just pop up in our lives with devil horns on and say, “Hey, I want you to sin today. Com’on, lets have some fun and do something terrible!” No, he knows we would tell him to get lost. Unfortunately, Satan is more cunning than anyone or anything. So how did he first tempt man? By asking a simple and deceptive question to the tune of, “Did God really say you can’t eat any fruit in this garden?” . Satan engages Eve so simply, with a gentle question. But that question has enormous negative potential: Satan is questioning God, testing Eve, and inviting Eve to question both God and herself all at once. Doubting is part of being human. We need to question and to doubt to have wisdom and discernment. But we must also use that wisdom to discern when doubt is healthy vs when Satan is lobbing questions into our brain that tempt us to doubt God’s word, our faith or our convictions of what is right or wrong behavior. . 💡Try It: Doubt can be paralyzing. Satan loves to get us questioning God and ourselves. What question are you wrestling with? Ask yourself these questions: “Is this question legitimate or is Satan tempting me?” “Is the option or thing I’m considering going to strengthen or weaken my faith, my health, my walk with God?” When you find yourself wrestling with doubt, explore the origin of the question and ask yourself if it’s Satan that’s tempting you. Then explore your choices and choose the option that’s healthy. This can help break the cycle of doubt.

Devotional #9. . 🎚Bible Verse: Genesis 2:25 “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.” . 💭Thoughts: Having been both a psychologist and a coach, I learned that shame is one of the most insidious feelings we will face during our time on earth. So it’s interesting that God’s original plan for us didn’t include shame. Over the years working with people, I have come to truly believe that shame isn’t of God. I haven’t seen a single instance where shame helped someone overcome sin. In fact, shame is sticky and smothering. Shame is the number one thing that stagnates people and prevents them from moving forward. . As Christians, we are called to mature in our walk with God. God will absolutely confront and convict us when we sin. It’s ok to regret bad decisions. It’s ok to want to do better. It’s ok to not like our sinful behavior. God tells us that He will correct us because He loves us. But I don’t think God wants us to wallow in shame. When we sin, our instinct is to feel we will die of shame: we want to hide our sin from God and from others. Shame is a feeling of hiding, unworthiness, and hopelessness. But God doesn’t ask us to be perfect. God asks us to examine and improve our behavior. He asks us to make the decision to turn from sin. But He never said He wants us to hate ourselves, to hide from Him, or to feel unworthy for years and years. . 💡Often we almost take comfort in shame. When we sin, we feel we deserve to feel worthless and terrible. But I find it impossible to grow as a Christian, to actively turn from sin, to love God joyfully, and to fulfill my spiritual gifts when shame is dragging me under. What shame are you drowning in? Is it preventing you from healing? From feeling worthy of worshipping God? From being in a healthy relationship? From fulfilling your purpose? If so, that type of shame isn’t God’s purpose for you. Ask God’s permission to let go of your shame and move forward. You aren’t perfect. Acknowledge your sin, ask forgiveness, actively turn away from sinful behavior, mature as a Christian. But do not let shame be a barrier to your relationship with God, yourself, or other people.

DAY 45 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• Anyway....you all know the miracle story of Jesus turning the water into wine, right? John 2:1-11 On the third day there was a wedding at Cana in Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Jesus also was invited to the wedding with his disciples. When the wine ran out, the mother of Jesus said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does this have to do with me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”Now there were six stone water jars there for the Jewish rites of purification, each holding twenty or thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And he said to them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.” So they took it. When the master of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and did not know where it came from (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom and said to him, “Everyone serves the good wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then the poor wine. But you have kept the good wine until now.” Check it out...this story takes on a whole new meaning when you see that the water was no regular water...it was the red heifer water that was supposed to purify them from touching death. Jesus turns it to wine. What does wine symbolize when we take communion? The blood of Jesus. Are you seeing the picture now? Jesus turns what was supposed to purify them temporarily into the thing that symbolized cleaning them permanently. That is what this miracle really points to....yep, right out of Numbers. ••••• READ THE FULL BLOG POST @ inJesusName.net and subscribe there for FREE to get the blog delivered straight to your email!•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #bible #blogtilyoudrop #christ #jesus #biblejournaling #bibleverse #bibleblog #bible365 #biblejquotes #bibleverses #christian #christianwoman #christianblogger #christianblog #christianbloggers #jesuschrist #christianwriter #christianity #365bible #bibleinayear #readyourbible #bibleblogger #biblebloggers

DAY 44 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• So Moses addresses Korah by basically telling him that if he and his people want to be priests....they should go for it. Moses tells Korah that he and the 250 chiefs should bring censors with fire and burn incense at the Tabernacle (essentially do the job of a priest)....and Moses and Aaron should do the same and then God will decide who has the right to be a holy priest. Moses asks Dathan and Abiram to come up to the Tabernacle and join in, but they refuse...they probably had a moment of Nadab and Abihu clarity and realize this was not going to go well for Korah and his crew. Not sure why Korah and the 250 chiefs don't have the same clarity of thought...but I guess they are so focused on wanting to be priests, they are all in for the censor lighting plan. Have you ever wanted something so badly, you conveniently forget the consequences that came the other times you went after something not of God? I have.....I've done it with relationships my whole life....praise God He finally broke that compulsion of mine by causing me to see the consequences are not worth it. I will wait for a relationship that is of God....or I will humbly and gratefully accept my station as a single person who gets to do the work of the Lord. Korah and his crew should have been happy and grateful being the ones to care for the holy things of the Tabernacle instead of going after a thing that was not meant for them to have.....but they couldn't see it and it all goes very badly for them. ••••• READ THE FULL BLOG POST @ inJesusName.net and subscribe there for FREE to get the blog delivered straight to your email!•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #bible #blogtilyoudrop #christ #jesus #biblejournaling #bibleverse #bibleblog #bible365 #biblejquotes #bibleverses #christian #christianwoman #christianblogger #christianblog #christianbloggers #jesuschrist #christianwriter #christianity #365bible #bibleinayear #readyourbible #bibleblogger #biblebloggers

DAY 43 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• The men bring back fruit and tell Moses that the land which he sent them to is flowing with milk and honey. You can see the disconnect already starting to happen with these men. Who sent them? That would be God not Moses. So not surprisingly the spies see the walled cities, the foreign people, the Nephilim and the report they bring back to the people is "We can't do it.....we can't defeat the people living in the Promised Land." How many of us do the same thing when we are on mission for God...forget that it was Him that sent us and therefore all we see is the things that are impossible or difficult to accomplish? If God sends you in....and you know the what you are supposed to do and the why you are doing it....He is responsible for the HOW you will accomplish the task...not you. You can't do it...but God can...so don't forget who called you to your role. Mighty King Warrior Jesus...who cannot ever fail. No wall too high....no person too scary for our God....so trust Him! Caleb seems to be the only one who gets this about God and so he basically says to the people, "We can do it...let's GO!!!!!!" ••••• READ THE FULL BLOG POST @ inJesusName.net and subscribe there for FREE to get the blog delivered straight to your email!•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #bible #blogtilyoudrop #christ #jesus #biblejournaling #bibleverse #bibleblog #bible365 #biblejquotes #bibleverses #christian #christianwoman #christianblogger #christianblog #christianbloggers #jesuschrist #christianwriter #christianity #365bible #bibleinayear #readyourbible #bibleblogger #biblebloggers

sometimes i feel like God is really testing me.. sometimes i feel like i am constantly failing His tests.. - i find myself comparing my story, my journey, my faith to others i see on social media.. and i will be the first to say that what you see on social media is not real. there have been times when i have posted about being happy when in reality i haven’t gotten out of bed that day because i’m sad.. there are times when i post about God even though i don’t feel Him around me at the time.. - no matter what you are going through, no matter what you are feeling, know that God is with you.. even if you cannot feel Him.. even if you cannot see Him. He is waiting for the perfect time to intervene and take over. He is waiting for you to need Him so desperately that you cry out and say “God, take control.” - comparing yourself to others is normal. comparing your religion, your appearance, your social media, it’s all normal. but it’s also unnecessary. you are God’s chosen child and you are perfect just the way she created you.

Devotional #8. . 🎚Bible Verse: Genesis 2:24 “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.” . 💭Thoughts: There are many mentions of marriage and unions in the Bible. I truly believe God’s plan is for us to be married or joined in a lifelong partnership of mutual respect, love, passion, support, help, and need fulfillment. I believe God interned for us to never have to face life’s long and rocky road alone. . I believe when the Bible says “they became one flesh” it means that in a partnership, you share everything including your finances, your possessions, your long-shot hopes, your worst shame, your deepest fears, your greatest joys, your secret addictions, your hilarious thoughts, your random everyday moments. Your partner should be someone you can truly trust will love you unconditionally and delight in you. . Of course, because God intended for marriage to be one of our highest blessings, it’s no surprise that Satan tries all of his tricks to disrupt relationships. There are few greater hurts than spouses at war, couples who mistrust, poor communication or divorce. I know my divorce led to years of feeling that I had failed in the commitment I had made before God. But I can only move forward and I’m happy to say that I’m now in a relationship that I believe was orchestrated by God and He is helping us mature in our bond and in our faith each and every year. . 💡Try It: God isn’t asking us to be perfect. And two imperfect people can’t have a perfect marriage. So let that notion go once and for all. But God does ask us to view our partnerships as so important that we become one flesh. What do you need in your partnership to become closer to being “one flesh”? What do you need to share? What do you need to hear? What fears do you need to overcome? Talk to your partner today. Make a plan to mature together in your faith and in each other.

DAY 42 of 365BIBLE @ ••••••••••••••inJesusName.net•••••••••••••••• And look at what Moses says in verse 35- And whenever the ark set out, Moses said, “Arise, O Lord, and let your enemies be scattered, and let those who hate you flee before you.” I found this interesting because Moses is saying that pretty much everyone who isn't in the camp of Israel hates God. Isn't that exactly what Jesus says in Matthew 12:30- Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters. More proof to you that Jesus is the same God that was in the wilderness with the Israelites and the same God that was on that mountain speaking to Moses. And more proof that the people around you who flee at the name of Jesus in essence hate God. Do you have friends that are perfectly fine talking about God as an energy or a force or light or love but as soon as you bring up Jesus....they scatter? I know it seems like they are super spiritual and they love God, but they don't...they hate Him...because the true God is Jesus and that God they flee from. They love their own version of God....which isn't God at all. Their god doesn't use trumpets and speak with a voice that makes them tremble in fear......not like our Jesus did and will. ••••• READ THE FULL BLOG POST @ inJesusName.net and subscribe there for FREE to get the blog delivered straight to your email!•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• #bible #blogtilyoudrop #christ #jesus #biblejournaling #bibleverse #bibleblog #bible365 #biblejquotes #bibleverses #christian #christianwoman #christianblogger #christianblog #christianbloggers #jesuschrist #christianwriter #christianity #365bible #bibleinayear #readyourbible #bibleblogger #biblebloggers
