Workout Tip- Incline Bench cable fly's Incline cable fly targets the fibres of the clavicular head of the pectoralis major (upper chest). Essentially, the technique used is the incline cable fly is the same as in the basic exercise (flat bench cable fly) but on a bench set at an incline of 30° to 45º Directions- 1 Place the incline bench in the center of the two pulleys on the cable crossover machine. The handles on the pulleys should be set to the lowest position. 2 Perform this exercise while lying with your back on the incline bench and your legs securely on the floor. 3 Your arms should be fully extended (elbows soft) with your palms facing towards each other. The handles are almost touching suspended directly above your chest. 4 Pinch your shoulder blades together with your chest sticking out for the duration of the exercise. 5 Lower the weight out to the side until your arms are parallel with the floor. Pull the handles back up and consciously flex your chest muscles at the top. I know the cable crossover machine is crowded.! Then, when it does open up, you must try this variation so that you don't end up doing the same exercises again and again.!!! My Tips- • Do it late in your chest workout (after incline and flat bench press). • Focus on hitting your upper pectorals. • Do 3-4 sets of 10-15 reps.
