My compound Back and Lower Body workout the other day was awesome for firing everything up 🔥 . I whipped through this workout in 40 minutes! Perfect for hip and glute power and back strength development 💪 . Swipe and save - let’s crush it 🙌 . 🔷KB Hang power clean to Squat ( 3 x 10 total): make sure you explode through your heels and glutes from the ground up, maintaining a straight back🙏 . 🔷 Bent over KB back rows ( 3 x 12 ) Isolate a strong hip hinge position almost parallel to floor and brace through core and glutes. Start the movement from the mid back and try not to use momentum as you row, squeezing shoulders back together at top then return to start ✨ . 🔷KB swing ( 3 x 20 ) Maintain a flat back as you drive the hips back with weight in heels, then thrust your hips back up and forward to full hip extension at the top. Lock your shoulders down and squeeze them back for perfect posture, maintaining a slight elbow bend 👌 . 🔷 Single leg stiff leg deadlifts ( 3 x 10 each side) Keep the working leg knee slightly bent as you hinge at the hips until you can feel a stretch in the hamstring, then drive back up through your heel and glute with control . 🔷 TRX row (3 x 12) Maintain a plank like body position and lower yourself down until your arms are straight, then retract your shoulder blades back and down pull your torso towards your hands keeping your elbows close to your body. Lower back down and repeat 💥 . And that’s it! Hope you love it if you try! 😁

So I managed a little workout yesterday, I can honestly say my head was not in it, I'm absolutely exhausted 😴 I did start with a light yoga warm up, 4 sun salutation ☀️ Followed by a 8+ miles walk with the pups 🐶🐶🐶 . Nice full body exercise, which you can add extras as you do. I usually would do push ups every time however my shoulder is still feeling off (very tight today) so stuck with more ab work during the walkouts. Did 2 Sets of these. Followed by plank till failure (under 1min now 😑)

This is all down to the frequency each muscle is being trained. As we can see from the image above ☝️ each muscle is only being trained once a week with the bro-split. However, each muscle is trained twice with the Push, push, legs program. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ‘But don’t my muscles need longer to recover?’. Short answer is no. In most cases the muscle will be ready to be trained again 48 hours after.
