What do you NEED? The other night after going out to dinner and being out all day I got home and headed straight to the fridge. +++ Opened it up and stared...was I hungry? NO. I was just worked up and needed to decompress. Instead I stared some more and opted to eat a handful of protein balls 😬 +++ Not exactly a binge, but not exactly what I needed! What I needed was to wash my face, put on some sweats, and chill. Instead I looked for more stimulation (food) as a quick antidote to the anxiousness I felt. +++ We have a MIND, BODY, SPIRIT! They all work together. I learned my lesson once again to pause and aknowledge what I really needed in any given moment. +++ If we're more self-aware of our self talk, and our WHOLE person, we will slip up less. The struggles we think we face are usually masking an underlying issue. +++ Pause today, ask yourself "why" until you get to the bottom of it. Don't eat the whole bag of protein balls.
