Throwback Thursday to a time when I didnโ€™t feel so huge โ˜บ๏ธ (I was actually pregnant in this video but didnโ€™t know!). With only 5 weeks til my due date Iโ€™m so grateful to Pilates for getting me up every morning, getting me out of bad moods and for making my body strong for this pregnancy and postnatally. I still experience all the joys pregnancy brings (nausea, aches and pains, tiredness, insomnia etc) but at a much lesser extent than I expected and I have Pilates to thank for that๐Ÿ’š I guess Iโ€™m in the right job!๐Ÿ™ * Practice Pilates at home with our 10 Week Online Series! Semi-circle (one direction of!) | A great extension of pelvic curls, this exercise increases the range of movement you can access by utilising the well of the reformer and extending your arms. I love the added length you gain through the body and still work on the glutes, hamstrings and hip flexion. My articulation is starting to reduce and I am also conscious of my range in my own body. This exercise can be a challenge for non-pregnant clients, let alone those who are so there is a really nice modified version which can be used as well. I finish with only 10 reps of Kneeling Leg Press knees off and thatโ€™s enough!
