Says @nationalosteoporosisfoundation . . 🙏🏼 In honor of my dear friend @nancycastiglioni and in support of @rebekahrotstein and @gotbuffbones for #nationalosteoporosismonth now coming to an end... Here's my edition of wrist strengthening and weight bearing exercises for strong and healthy wrists as well as shoulders and elbows. 👉🏼 Lift up onto the fingers and firmly press palms back to floor. I don't have a big range in my #handstandpushups but it's strengthening just the same and super challenging for the core and the #posteriorchain from back to legs 😅 . . Meet our practitioners! Veronique @vcaubel was introduced to Pilates in 2006. She developed a passion for Pilates, and took the BASI Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training. In 2012 she became a BASI certified Pilates instructor for mat and all equipment. She added her passion for Pilates to her midwife experience, and she completed the Pre/Post Natal Specialist Program taught by Carolyn Anthony, founder of The Center For Women’s Fitness. She has been in the US since 1998 and moved to Paris for 3 years where she taught Pilates at Paris Pilates studio. Back in the US she acquired the Pilates Method Alliance certification in 2015. In addition, Veronique completed the Yamuna Body Rolling certification in 2016. Veronique loves working with clients of all ages and abilities. A tree grows in...Hartford? 🌳 Last night I gave a talk on Fall And Fracture Prevention on behalf of Hartford Hospital’s Bone and Joint Institute with the #orthopedicsurgeon who runs their Fragility Fracture Program. ✨ It’s our second time co-presenting and a beautiful reminder to myself of why I’m doing what I do. Informing people how to care for themselves through movement. Equipping them with knowledge and tools to stay mobile and independent.
