This morning I’m plotting my (phase-in) return to the office, and I’m really good at overthinking everything. 📚worry/overthinking weakens the spleen, which is the main organ for digestion in Chinese Medicine. If this is a predominant emotion it’s best to avoid cold/raw foods, especially this time of year. Otherwise it’s sort of like kicking yourself when you’re already down. Excessive worrying and overthinking will weaken your digestion, and cold foods crush that digestive fire, too (mild signs: bloating, fatigue after eating, constipation/loose stool). The spleen also rules the middle of the body and is therefore super important in pregnancy and post baby. after a weekend of eating enough “bready” things for the rest of the month...😬 there are a few things that I do to feel better almost instantly. workout, hot yoga, sauna+dry brushing✔️drink water with lemon,acv&greens powder like it’s my job✔️eat all the veggies especially everything green🌱✔️and load up on protein, fibre and fats✔️easy, effective and simple. OH, and...get over it! don’t get upset, beat yourself up or do something crazy like eat less/starve yourself... your body doesn’t need any more added stress than it already has from the gluten, dairy and sugar overload 😂 I love you Stockholm😍 you are worth all the bread, kanelbullar and cheese. #livinglife in this bowl 👉🏻 2 soft boiled eggs, kidney beans + chickpeas tossed in cilantro,arugula+pumpkin seed pesto, avocado and some pickled red onions!

@the_healthyhijabi Baked sweet potato chips 🍟🍠- movie snack/sides with salads/with chai/munchies anytime of the day (according to my siblings)-which proves that this is deeelicious, because they don’t eat stuff that “taste healthy”. 🙄 _ Try it : 🍠 Strips of sweet potato (I used one large) . 🍋 Juice of half a lemon . 🌱 Handful of dill leaves . 🍾 2-3 tbs olive oil . ❄️ Salt to taste . 🌶 @urbanplatter.in smoked spanish paprika - smells really good + gives a great taste, while not being very spicy, for those of you who are sensitive . Add all the ingredients into your sweet potato strips, mix, arrange on a greased tray (with spacing), and bake for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees (you can bake it for a wee bit longer if you like it crunchy). Let it cool. I like to dip mine in #labneh, you could also eat it just like that . Such an EASY and healthy snack if you’re a savoury+munchies lover. Kids will love it too! In my bowl tonight: okra, eggplant and kidney bean stew full of cajun inspired spices, a ton of collard greens and kale lightly sautéed in olive oil and lemon juice and couscous with a few olives. Used the pork tenderloin I cooked this weekend for a big Bahn Mi Bowl. 😍 Since this was just regular pork tenderloin I made a sauce for it using 1 part balsamic vinegar, 1 part coconut aminos (or soy sauce), 1-2 parts water, and a hefty squeeze of Sriracha! This is actually a sauce that a Vietnamese coworker taught me! It was her secret sauce and she made the beeessst Bahn Mi sandwiches evvvver! 👌🏻 She would also add sugar to hers but I’m good without it! 👌🏻 My bowl is 3 oz pork tenderloin (2) with sauce, cauliflower rice, cabbage, cucumber, cilantro, and pickled carrots and watermelon radish (1 - counting a point for the sugar in this).
