How could i resist this? 💕💕. I absolutely love chocolate cupcakes, and yes I probably would find a regular sized one of these pretty challenging if had as an extra snack, so when I saw this mini one, I just had to have it! I get so frustrated with peoples constant comments saying, ‘well if you had dessert today you must be recovered now’, or ‘well done for eating that chocolate’. I understand the media has put a picture across to us of a gaunt anorexic girl sitting there with a lettuce leaf crying... well that’s not always true. I absolutely love sweet things and always have done, and that probably makes things harder for me in a way. Yes, eating chocolate and sweet things brings a huge amount of guilt with it, but I’m learning slowly to enjoy these things in ADDITION to regular meals 🍫🍭🍬 #itsallaboutbodypositivity #caloriesincaloriesout #edrecovery #chocolatelover

// TRACK IT // People ask me how I’m eating pizza and still remain lean. Well, the answer is counting your macros! That’s the @myshreddedlifestyle way of life 📊 . When I’m bulking, I’m sticking to a certain amount of calories and macros for a while. This amount is basically my daily budget. During the day I spend my protein, carbs and fats on different types of food. I just make sure that I always hit my daily macro targets 🎯 . Let’s say I’m eating 2.600 calories a day with 140g of protein, 60g of fat and 375g of carbs (this is pretty much what I’m eating atm). I just take whatever I want for breakfast and calculate the macros by using the @myfitnesspal app. Weigh your food by using a small kitchen scale and you’re good to go 🔥 . Ofcourse there are favorable products in order to hit your macro targets easier. For instance, I make sure that I eat chicken breasts at least once a day. This is just an easy protein source. Also, I really like peanutbutter. So I’ll usually have one meal with peanutbutter to get those fats in! This is just a learning process and you’ll get better at it as you go 🙌🏽 . Now, I’m not saying you should be weighing every meal you’ll ever have from now. But if you would just do it for a week or two, you’ll get to learn so much about which products contain which nutrients! It will make your life much easier 🏋🏽‍♂️ . Can we eat carbs after 6PM? Short answer: Absolutely! They won't get stored as fat. What matters is your total caloric intake for the day. How many carbs you eat within your calories or when you eat them makes no bloody difference to your rate of fat loss. When you eat carbs at night, your body deals with them in the same way at 6AM as it would at 6PM. So, what about people who claim to lose weight once they stop eating carbs at night? Well, that happened because they cut out calories. People generally snack or go big during dinner time. No one has 6 scoops of ice cream for breakfast but dinner.... That's a different story altogether. To summarize: Carbs aren't bad at night and they WON'T get stored as fat unless you go over your calories for the day.
