Avocado toast for 167 calories. I’ve been using white weightwatchers bread (which is 50 cal per slice) and it has a very interesting taste when toasted. It tastes almost like Melba toast rather than bread. . . I’ve been feeling very puffy and like I’m retaining a lot of water. ONE POT WINTER BEEF STEW . Here’s a great one pot recipe you can use for your meal prep. It serves 6 or if your gaining muscle you could double up on the serving size. . With the muscle building meal you can have it served with plain bread, garlic bread or rice to bulk it up. . Notice, in the recipes the main difference is the use of 5% minced beef for fat loss versus 15% minced beef for muscle gain. Also the celeriac for fat loss and potato for muscle gain. . So here are the DIRECTIONS: . Chop up the potatoes, carrots and onions into large chunks. Boil some water. . Use a large non-stick pan and fry the minced meat on a high heat till brown. Then crumble in the stock cubes and mix it well. . Add the chopped veggies to the pan then add 900ml/1/½ pints of boiling water and bring it to boil. Reduce the heat, and simmer with a the lid on for 30 minutes or until the veggies are tender. . Intuitive eating did not work for me. It does for some & that’s great! Personally I weigh all my food & track it all because I want to MAXIMISE the amount of food I can eat (to prevent binges) while steadily losing weight so I’m healthy & happy- both mentally & physically. I wanted 15g of syrup but I accidentally did 17g, I recorded 17g. All the little “ahh it’ll do” moments add up, before you know it you’re consuming waaaay more than you’re tracking then wondering why you’re not losing & get disheartened & binge. More changes are coming to life. As of next Monday I'll have two jobs and will be working 7-days a week until I can't. It's not always going to be enjoyable, but we have goals that need to happen sooner than later. That said, I've been really worried about my eating. I've been mostly whole food plant based but when I'm not it's been pretty bad with junk food....binges...for lack of a better term. I haven't been tracking anything and I can feel it in my body. I keep swinging back and forth between the same 10lbs and not making any significant change. I have said before that I need to come to terms with my food issues but with this new schedule, I don't know that online therapy is going to be possible. I'm not suggesting that there's a replacement for professional help, but maybe these podcasts will be able to get me thinking in the right direction. #overeating #bingeeating #foodissues
