Let’s talk stock trailers. What’s your preference? Steel or aluminum? This #grtrailer isn’t ours, but I used it the other day and really liked it. We’ve also got an old steel trailer manufactured by Travalong that is well over 20 years and is just now showing rust. Been one dang tough trailer. We’re in the market for a new one sooner than later. Tell me in the comments below what you like to pull. —————————————————————————— #stocktrailer #cattlehaulers #bullwagons #movingcows #haulingcows #cattleranch #cows #cattle #ranching #ranchlife #utahcattleman #igabulls

#fincalaalmeria #holsteins #redholsteins #calves #calvesofinstagram #cowsofinstagram #dairyfarms#farmlife #instacalves #livestock #cattle #vacas #novillas #fincas #ganaderia #lecheria #campo #agro #agricultura #agronomia #zootecnia #veterinaria #fazenda #leite #girolando #gyr

Finally a cooler morning! These guys are on their last strip and then get moved across the driveway to a new field. They spent more time in this field than we thought we would get out of it. They won’t be back here for at least another 60 days. This is a new field to us this year and still needs a bit of work, but we’ve definitely seen some positive changes. #cattle #beautifulmorning #shorthillmountain #lovettsville #virginia #loudouncountyva #loudouncountyfarms

I don't normally go running in the afternoon, but today I did. I'd woken up very early this morning, around 3am, but I had work to complete at home before heading off to work in the city centre, so I didn't dare risk a morning run. My day was fine, but cognisant of the fact that I didn't exercise yesterday, I thought that I should push to exercise before today is through: hence the afternoon run. . What I wanted to share though, moreso than my rambling about work and running, is the curiosity this cluster of cows provoked in me. There I was, across the river from them, and there they stood, facing each other as if in a tight circle of silent prayer. It was a confusing sight. They blocked the paved path, forcing the approaching cyclists off and around to the river's edge, or else through the grass and thistle. I spotted 2 cows sitting, whilst the others stood, and I thought: Is one of their group ill, or worse yet, dead? Why the tight circle? Confused, and seeing other people across the river stop on approaching, seemingly confused as well, I asked a pair who were just chilling on my side of the river, if they knew what was happening. They did not, but they agreed that the cows' formation was a bit strange. Compelled by curiosity, I decided to extend my outing by a mile or so, and go to the other side of the river by the cows. On arriving next to the cows, I walked around them, looking for something odd; nothing struck me as very strange. More of them were sitting now, but they really just seemed to be chilling out, trying to brush away the overly fertile and numerous summer flies, amongst eachother's company. The two other herds in the vicinity were spread out as cows usually are, but for some reason, this herd decided on a conference. I suppose they have their reasons. I left, questions not properly answered, and walked back home. #cows #cow #sittingcows #summer #cattle #moo #river #rivercam #cambridge #curious #riverside #england #animals #animalsdoingthings #secrets #unknown #mystery #countryside #countrylife #field #summertime
