This smile means a lot to me. For the past month and a half I wasn't consistently going to the gym in fear that I would worsen my plantar fasciitis. I was already in enough pain. The pain still lingers but I'm getting better at stretching and icing and have found a little relief so far. But I was able to get into the gym today and do a little bit of weights and some biking. Looks like biking will be my new cardio for a while. That's okay. Better then nothing! . . Let’s start off the year already ahead. Let’s go into it with the ball already rolling. Let’s kick it off strong and confident af. All you have to do is decide to commit. “Decisions December” winter bootcamp early enrollment will begin later this week. So will you decide to start off the year already on a high note, or will you keep putting it off?

Anything that you do is like a relationship. If you seek health, you must create a life of health. YOU BUILD IT. If you seek love, you must create it within yourself in order to ever find it. You must build that self love relationship. If you seek opportunity or success, you must create it, BUILD it. If you seek faith, again, it must be CREATED, MAINTAINED and BUILT. No matter what you seek in life, YOU MUST BUILD it, CREATE it and NURTURE it. Your relationships or your marriage takes commitment and work. You place love and understanding into it. One slight move away from it and it dies, the love withers away and the connection is lost. If you don't treat everything that you want and love in your life as a "special relationship," they all will die! It won't be special anymore and you won't love it anymore. I know. I allowed everything to be taken from me, but it was my own fault. I even stopped my own personal relationship with myself. I stopped treating myself as a human being who was important and loved. I lost my way, I lost my purpose, I lost ME! I didn't love myself anymore therefore I couldn't possibly love anything else. And that action alone destroyed everything around me, my perception of things turned sour. When you stop seeing yourself for who you truly are, the beautiful person that God has made, what are you!!? I felt like a nothing, I felt ugly, I felt negative, hate and dispair. Is that what life is? Struggling? Pain? Depression? Heartache? Sorrow? Hate? Obesity? Poverty!? NO! Heck no! We all get chances, more than one really, but we're so used to being how we are and having what we have that we settle, that we say NO because we don't notice the good opportunities that are coming into our lives. We seek changes, want our dreams to come true yet we never act on opportunity. Therefore we give ourselves one ☝ option, failure, defeat or surrendering to our own self destruction. Become your own solution.

A #transformationtuesday indeed. . @cheryl_wheatley was consuming 1500kcals a day in photo 1 where we held her as she got leaner for a period of time then we started to increase to provide more strength, more progressions, better recovery and a better lifestyle and this is where we are 😁 . She just got another increase to her calories and is now averaging over 2000kcals per day. . Read her ‘wins’ from this weeks check in 👇🏼🥰 . Dare I say I actually see a difference in my photos compared to a couple weeks ago. . I feel my shoulders getting bigger or is my waist getting smaller... And I’m eating more than ever! If anyone had told me this would be the case before I started this journey, no way would I have believed them. . I feel like I’m making more progress in the gym and have managed to increase my weights/reps on some exercises while hopefully maintaining good form and execution. . Take your art outside when possible, for Art is intrinsically linked to our interactions with the natural environment. Believe in your value and make time for stillness. 🌿✌️❤️

This morning, in the business mentorship class I am leading, we were discussing “The Power Hour”. That small window of time we zone in on the goal, shut off all distractions, and crush it. Hours can be shorter than 60 minutes of course, but the premise is to set aside a set amount of time and commit to it. .. . My Power Hour? It’s broken up into smaller parts of my day. 30 minutes while Sawyer takes her morning nap, 30 minutes in car pickup line, aaaand sometimes I treat myself to an extra 15-20 minutes on the rare occasion I get to take a hot bath without kids crashing the party. Yes. Many of you I have spoken to, messaged with, and maybe even Marco Polo’d with while hiding from life in the bath. #yourewelcome . What does your Power Hour look like? What goals have you set for yourself? Maybe it’s fitness related, household “stuff”, or going back to school for that degree/masters. I want to hear all about it. 💕
