How much did you spend on PRIME DAY?? I spent well over $100 on the first day 🤦‍♀️ Now how much of that stuff did you actually NEED? I did NOT need any of it lol So why is it so easy for us to buy nonsense and stuff we dont need? Why dont we spend money on making ourselves better? Why dont we spend money on our health? Why are we so afraid to talk about our health? These are all things that I was afraid of too. I did not want to talk about my health, especially my successes that I have had over the last year. I also only wanted to spend money on things I did not need. I did not want to invest in myself. This is because if I invested in myself and failed well I was a failure, but really I wasnt. Thankfully I finally invested in myself and succeeded!! But I would have never known if I never tried! What is holding you back from success?

Especially during the week Aunt Flow comes to visit. {sorry, boys} ⁣ ⁣ But then I remember: God has blessed me with a body that CAN. I CAN exercise. I physically CAN. I am SO grateful for this opportunity to take care of myself! 🙌🏼⁣ ⁣ We only get this life. We only get this one body. We owe it to ourselves to throw out the excuses and GET TO WORK. #tbt I was #maga before it was cool. found some pics of the warehouse space I started my tactical business in and where we ended up 9 years later before it was acquired by a large government contracting company in 2010. I rented a 1200 sqft. box and started with 3 sewing machines which were plugged into the bath room with 200’ extension cords because I didn’t even have electrical in the shop yet; but had already taken my first order for 5,000 knife pouches from @microtechknives I took that order before I even had a way to make them. I was still active duty at the time around 2002/3 working full time as an instructor with the assault cell at the training detachment and working on my business at night and on the weekends. By 2004 what started out as a hobby consumed my life. I wanted my business more than being a SEAL. My priorities 100% shifted. I got out terrified I couldn’t pay myself the 4K a month take home pay I made on active duty. I took a chance on myself and the team at my company. There were some very hard and lean days. There were months I couldn’t pay myself and lived on my credit cards. I never once didn’t pay my employees. The stress got so bad at times I would cry myself to sleep wondering how I was going to make payroll for 110 people next Friday. I stayed the course always finding a way to make it one more day. Fast forward 7 years later and I signed papers that changed my life forever. From 1200 to 23,000sqft. I remember when I started this journey a few years back and I really didn’t believe I could do it. Why would I? I never had done it before. So why would this time be different? 👀⁣ ⁣ But I had nothing to lose so I took one step forward. I got uncomfortable. And while it wasn’t pretty, it was a start. 💥⁣ ⁣ In time, with consistency it got easier. So I’d get uncomfortable again and push a little harder. 👍🏻⁣ ⁣ Then again and again. Little by little. And that process is still happening. ⁣ ⁣ Do Not Lie to Yourself 👊⁣ ⁣ We have to be honest about what we want and take risks rather than lie to ourselves and make excuses to stay in our comfort zone. 😲⁣ ⁣ So I’ll ask you. These pictures are 7 years apart. 33 vs 40. (Technically I wasn’t 40 yet on the right, but stay with me here) I can see the similarities in the smile. In the eyes. The overall look (minus the hair and the now 7 tattoos) What you can’t see is the crap the girl on the left was eating. The unhealthy sleeping patterns. The total disregard for her health. The amount of alcohol that was being consumed. The lack of knowledge for what foods fueled her body. The uneducated mind in moving her body and exercising daily. That girl on the left does NOT look 33 and the girl on the right (in my eyes) does NOT look 40. That’s the difference in having a thirst for knowledge on health and exercise. As I have ventured back to the gym I have discovered so much. For starters, I really can do burpees and run for more than 10 minutes. I may go at my own pace but I get it done. Today, if I am honest, I cancelled my class that I was running late to and the thought crossed my mind - well, I might as well just turn around. With that being said, I set that thought aside and still came to tear it up on the treadmill. I came, I conquered and I feel more and more committed to my own well being. This whole journey isn't about looking like anyone else or losing a certain amount of weight, even though it will happen. This is about my commitment to myself as a leader in the world and what I stand for in my communities. I am committed to women knowing their worth in the world and living a life they love. I can't do this with my whole being if I am not taking care of myself. I'm committing to 💯. _ _ In January of 2018 I committed to doing 80 workouts (yes, this 80 included active recovery/stretching-not 80 high intensity workouts) during the launch of a new program. I found myself the most motivated I have EVER been to get it done each day. I had thousands of other people doing the same thing at the same time with me. _ This massive community helped answer questions about meal plans and prep, how they were getting the workouts in that sometimes were over an hour long, and commiserated about how it 'hurt so good'. This was a turning point in my fitness journey. I made showing up for myself a habit. I made healthy eating a lifestyle. You know it's true because you watched me do it! 😁 _ This time the workouts are only 30 minutes and include a dj spinning some awesome beats! 🎶 So idk about you, but I'm committing to 💯. It's a no-brainer.

Someday I'll be rich. Someday I won't have belly fat. Someday I'll be ripped. Someday I'll have my own house. Some of my dreams... some of the things I hope to have SOMEDAY. * I just returned to our Coach Summit this past weekend where I learned A LOT. As in mind overload! But it was amazing. It filled my mind, filled my cup, filled my soul! * One of the things I took away from the workshops, motivational speakers, and live workouts... was the importance of ACTION. If I want something "someday" I can't just wait around and hope that someday miraculously happens. If I wait around and just wish for it..."someday" will NEVER HAPPEN. * My abs won't happen. I won't be ripped. I won't have my own house. And I won't be able to travel wherever and whenever I want. * If I want my "someday" to happen, I must ACT NOW. I need to CHOOSE to MAKE MY SOMEDAY HAPPEN. TODAY is the best day to ACT on my "someday." * Three years ago, my someday was to lose 30 lbs. I'm happy to share that I acted on that "someday" and it is now TODAY. I lost 30 lbs in 2 months and continued to develop habits and a mindset to maintain the success I created for myself. * Your SOMEDAY is TODAY. If you've been wishing to work on your goals, to work on your health, to work on improving your relationships, whatever it may be!.... Take action on your "someday" TODAY. You can do it. {SLOW} Interestingly, we find that during summer, people's adrenaline levels are soaring and that they find themselves constantly so busy and occupied especially parents as they need to ensure that the kids always engaged and have enough activities to keep them going for the day. All for a good cause obviously as we want to soak up the sun as much as we can. But we are suggesting a different approach. I think a time like summer really means we have to intentionally slow down, and take time out to build on experiences that are deep and meaningful, reflect on the past and the present, and perhaps even acquire new skills or advance on your strength in a progressive way. As parents, we know that this may be a hectic time not knowing what to do with the kids, so why not also get them to build on their own capabilities and strengths by registering them for holidays camps. This #workoutwednesday goes to my GoGo Juice and healthy electrolytes because without them I wouldn’t have survived 😅 This program I’ve been doing is 20 mins a day, but today’s was 60 mins 😳 I’ve done it before, so I knew it wouldn’t be SO bad, but it was hard to get over my mindset hurtle. So I told myself I just had a good reason to drink extra yumminess 😂 - Tomorrow’s the last day of this program, so after that I will be solely focused on the BRAND NEW program that launched yesterday!! 100 days, 20-30 mins a day, working out to the beats of a live DJ, and a super inspirational trainer. Self-exploration can begin right between the margins of your journal, or expand into other areas of your life. One way that I like to engage in self-exploration is by using self-exploration journal prompts that can be found on Pinterest. If you enjoy writing, perhaps this is something you can add to the journal I mentioned in a previous post. Another way I’ve been journaling lately has been through the @happinessplanner app. Their app has different categories to help you reflect on and record what you’re going through in your day to day life. Wednesdays are always hard for me. They're my Fridays, so I'm coming home after a long work week. I typically end up falling asleep, on accident or on purpose. By then, my desire to workout is long gone. Luckily, in the last few months, I've truly learned the value of consistency and building good habits. I'm going to be honest, I don't always have the MOTIVATION to workout (shocker, I know). But you better believe that I've still got DISCIPLINE to press play. Trust in yourself & the process that the results will come as long as you put in the work & that process takes “time”. . ✨ Our world is filled with a million supplements, programs/products that promise fast acting results. But the truth is, 👉🏼You have to do the work 👉🏼You have to change your eating habits 👉🏼You have to believe that you can 👉🏼You have to understand that it takes time & it will be hard 👉🏼You have to make it part of your lifestyle 👉🏼You have to stop making excuses and giving up on yourself . My lifestyle change happened 12 years ago. When I was 18 I had a 27 year old friend that told me “you aren’t going to look like that& be able to eat whatever you want when you are my age” I laughed thinking, what is she talking about I am never going to be unhealthy, I was 102 soaking wet & ate anything I wanted. . Sure enough, at 27 8 months into my pregnancy I looked at myself w/her words in my head thinking WTH just happened. I gained 2x as much weight as the doctor told me too, I lived off of pancakes, fried chicken fingers, French fries and ranch w/the occasional Ben &Jerrys ice cream w/ my breakfast (and no, pregnancy doesn’t do this to you…YOU do this to you, speaking from experience. I’ll write part 2 on my 2nd pregnancy and how I stayed fit/healthy and didn’t eat anything bad). . . I hired a trainer that day & started 6 wks post baby going in w/ an open mindset and request of “I just want to be healthy”. I committed to 6 days a wk of physical activity, 7 days a week of healthy eating w/a one day cheat. Was it hard, hell yes it was every single day, but I wasn’t about to quit on myself or my son. . . One thing led to another & I fell in love w/working out, I fell in love w/eating better, kept alcohol to a bare min &promised myself that I was going to stay healthy for the both of us. . . You have to allow it to become part of our lifestyle for it to work, you don’t have to go all crazy either. I’m sure you spend more than 30 min on SM a day you could sub out for a quick jog around the block or get an anti pasta salad instead of that pizza. . It’s simple, we just make it difficult because our initial thought about Cont👇🏼👇🏼

I’m sorry come again! . That is what I first said when I saw 100 workouts, but then I started to do some research. And you know what I found? I found that these 100 workouts are super awesome, super quick, and most importantly to me-super Duper fun! . Honestly, this program is so much more than a workout...it is more like a spiritual journey. I know because I watched a lot of people going through the test group. There, they completed the entire 100 day program and this is what I saw . 🔹I saw women who were down in the dumps now with light in their eyes 🔹I saw people that overcame struggles with self-doubt who now live with a new sense of confidence that were in themselves 🔹I saw physical transformation 🔹I witnessed women getting their pre-baby bodies back on track 🔹I saw people who started with modifications complete later workouts without modifying . 💁🏻‍♀️ Do you dabble or do you commit? . . 🤔 Looking back I think it’s safe to say that I’ve spent my life being a serial (partial) committer. I’ll commit to doing something and do it, for a while, until I don’t anymore, until I decide it’s not working. Or until something else comes along. . . 🤷🏻‍♀️ And often I haven’t really fully committed, like to all aspects of what I’m doing. To the workouts but not the nutrition or the physical but not the mindset. . . 🙌🏻 Through the course of my journey over the last few years, and from seeing others who’ve seen awesome success, I’ve realized that to truly succeed, you need to truly commit. . . 💥 Dabbling doesn’t create success. It breeds frustration and doubt. . . 👊🏻 Commit to a program. Commit to a journey. Commit to yourself. Because when you don’t fully commit you’re only cheating yourself. . . 🥰 So yes, I’m super excited about our new program that went on sale yesterday. We live in such an atmosphere of comparison and competition. So take a sec and stop doing that! It ISN'T you versus that other person. It's you versus YOURSELF! Ask yourself, who is the best version of me that I can be RIGHT NOW? I started doing this every a.m and writing it down. It really helped me focus on what I need to work on emotionally AND physically. So, you're not a morning person? You don't have time? Me either. I get up at 4 a.m during the school year! Do you struggle with COMMITMENT? I sure did, especially when it came to my health journey. I wanted the quick fix, quick and effortless results, and I for sure wanted to be able to eat whatever I wanted. I had myself in such a vicious cycle of starting, "failing" , and stopping, and starting again. It was so frustrating 😣 So what changed? How did I finally figure out how to "COMMIT" and get results? Drum roll........ It was accountability through a virtual challenge group. Actually, I decided to lead the group. Within this group were some amazing people that were on the same struggle bus as myself. I committed to showing up everyday because I knew they would. Eventually, this led to me developing some new habits and over 5 years those habits stuck!! Yes I still have the foods I love and crave, but I know I can resume my healthy choices right away. I see you sitting there, head down next to a pile of clothes. I know you’ve had this happen to you before. Well, it happened again! You’re getting ready and you put on an outfit, look in the mirror, and think NOPE, not today. Change it up a bit, switch shirts, try again. And think to yourself “gosh, nothing fits right anymore”. Pretty soon you have a pile of clothes that you now have to spend time cleaning up later. And bam you’re right back to wearing that same old go to “lazy” outfit instead of that cute new top you bought to look SMOKIN’ with your skinny jeans on date night. I feel you, sometimes you just want to throw all of your clothes in the trash and start new. But wait, then you’ll have to face the reality of shopping and FITTING ROOMS. And then your anxiety kicks in. Don’t let yourself have one of these moments again. Rockin’ cute outfits every day is exactly why I created my next challenge group. We will dial in our nutrition TOGETHER, complete the workouts in our living rooms, motivate the heck out of each other, and CRUSH our goals.
