⚡️15 Minute Cardio Workout of the Week ⚡️@anytimefitness_skyhawk . . Okay, so as we begin this new format of posting daily (during the week) content, I wanna get one thing straight about “cardio”....cardio is a buzzword that is more accurately defined as aerobic exercise. It is not a specific activity such as running or cycling (those are just common forms of it!). Any activity that depends primarily on the aerobic energy-generating process can be called “cardio” as long as you utilize that energy system PRIMARILY. So there fore, almost any activity done at the appropriate intensity can be defined as cardio, so we are gonna take some creative license with the term and give all you #skyhawkbootybuilders some options to throw in to your routine! . . Furthermore, who ever said a workout needs to be 60-90 minutes?! If 15 is all you got, get in, put in some work for 15 minutes straight, and walk out feeing better about the fact that you increased your calorie burn for the day, lowered your risk for disease, and gave a jolt to your metabolism all in just 15 minutes! Anyone has time for that! . . Today is simple: 1 minute Deadlift ***any variation, just chose a weight that you can be consistent with, the goal is no rest and light weight! 2 minute Row ***again, light to moderate resistance and keep pace manageable to reduce need for rest during the whole workout! . 5 rounds of 3 minutes each gets you to 15! 18 x 500m / 1:00r 🔥 🔥 Think that was the toughest rowing workout I’ve ever done, mentally and physically. Wanted to stick to a 1:45 / 500m pace but had to step off in intervals 13, 14 & 15 as I was spending too much time in the red zone which wasn’t the point of this workout. Finished with an average of 1:46.6. That was bloody brutal. The engine build continues. Strap in tight! This the connection point on the machine from which you generate most of your power. Loose straps can lead to a lack of connection. Also, I see a ton of toe-pulling at the release. Tight straps can help with this. My favorite method to get them tight is to pull them across not up.
