I got this little trick while doing some work for a fit pro dude a year ago.⠀ .⠀ I found it to be super easy (and helpful) to apply it to the content bit.⠀ .⠀ The dude's entire program building process was based on two questions:⠀ .⠀ 1. How is this supporting the client reach his goals⠀ 2. Can this be used or is it a gimmick ⠀ .⠀ Obvs, these questions have nothing to do with writing blogs or social media syndication.⠀ .⠀ But you can flip them around. And I found that, for me, it’s way easier to catch myself if I get side tracked from the bigger picture.⠀ .⠀ (unlike my nephew when we’re at the store and we have to pass by the candy eisle)⠀ .⠀ The general idea is to make sure that the stuff you’re sharing is not only cool, but also relevant. Which is something I can’t say about “influencer motivational posts”.⠀ .⠀ Right, here it is.⠀ .⠀ Whenever I write a content sequence the first thing I ask myself is⠀ .⠀ 1. How is this sequence providing the context to the next stage of the customer journey?⠀ 2. Does it flow and is it applicable, or is it a gimmick?⠀ .⠀ Which basically means that the content piece supports a bigger picture strategy.⠀ .⠀ There you go. Super simple and short sanity check process to make sure the content follows the content strategy.⠀ .⠀ What’s the sanity check process you use?
