I have a few confessions to make. 1) I REALLY love cheese. 2) I REALLY love potatoes. Put the two together and you have litterally combined two food catagories in my food pyramid. However I was told by someone who went to school longer and paid more than I did to reduce my carb intake. It was either beer or potatoes. Good news is I adore cauliflower. (It is NOT the same, dont care how you cook it, cauliflower will never replace the amazingness and comfort of potatoes) Tonight I have made a Greek infused chicken and cheesy cauliflower. The chicken has been sitting overnight in a greek yogurt marinade with lemon juice, garlic and oregano. The cheesy cauliflower has a sauce of feta, butter, milk, dill, lemon juice and garlic with some paprika sprinkled on top. (Dont tell my doctor about the butter...let this foodie have some vices) The cauliflower was baked until the cheese sauce bubbled and the chicken started off with a high temp to crisp up the skin and reduced to keep it moist. Photo taken straight from my wok... Dish name: Masak Lomak Cili Api Daging Salai Nogori Style. 😜 No shallots.. No fancy ingredients. Negeri sembilan has a unique was to cherish the authentict taste of santan, lemongrass and tumeric and definitely the super stinging hot bird eye chili. Cook in medium heat for an hour. Be careful not to let the heat too high and avoid the santan from splitting. This dish is cooked with smocked beef hence the superb taste! This is not nasi kerabu despite the natural blue colour from bunga telang@blue peas. Its nasi lemak! Yup but i omit the santan@coconut milk LoL. To imitate the starchy creamy end taste of the santan I added pandan leaves and bunga telang. Why? The flower cook together with pandan give a unique aroma and it soften the rice. Though its ain't the same as santan. I opt for something less fat as the sambals are oily. This dish is serve with fried anchovies, cucumber, sambal bilis bawang and sambal sotong@squid. I omit ground nuts as I was too hungry at that time to bake some nuts for the condiments. Lol... When I was brainstorming a list of Keto meal options, my father-in-law yelled out “lasagna” trying to be funny. I thought it was a great idea! Fauxsagna-at least 8 servings 1lb ground beef 1lb italian sausage Salt and Pepper Brown in heavy bottomed pot like a dutch oven. Then, add veggies. I had mushrooms and white onion. 1 Large or 2 small can of crushed tomatoes. Italian spices to suit your tastes. Stir and simmer for at least an hour. Fauxsagna base- zucchini! Slice in rounds or long ways if you prefer and layer in the bottom of 9x13. Ricotta mixture: 16 oz ricotta cheese Garlic S&P Italian spices 1 cup Parmesan cheese Mix together. Layers:Zucchini-meat sauce-ricotta-Z-MS-R-Z Sprinkle with mozzarella and some extra parm. You can never get away from chicken curry. Love for Indian food. Try this recipe, good for lunch or dinner. Pair it with brown rice or chapati. . Ingredients(1 small chicken thigh and 1 breast, 1 tomato, 1 medium onion, 2 garlic, coriander, coriander powder, chicken masala, cloves, 1 cinnamon stick, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, salt, pepper, lemon juice) . Time to prep ~ 10 min Time to cook ~ 15 min Serving ~ 1 person . Recipe 1. Chop chicken into pieces and marinade with salt, pepper and lemon juice, 2. Take cooker and add 1 tbsn of ghee. Let it heat and add cumin seeds, cloves and cinnamon stick. Let it fry for 3 mins then add chopped onion. 3. Cook for 5 mins add tomato purée and chopped garlic cook for 2-3 mins add salt, turmeric, coriander powder and cook for another 4-5 mins. 4. Add marinaded chicken, chicken masala, 1/2 cup water mix well. Close the lid of cooker and cook for 2 whistle. 5. Garnish chicken curry with chopped coriander. . I have never met a pizza that I did not love. This one has a homemade basil pesto sauce. I made up a lot of pesto last summer and froze it up in small 1/2 cup packages. Spinach, kale, artichoke hearts, fresh mozzarella cheese, a few blackberries and a sprinkling of red pepper flakes top this yummy easy to make pizza. The basil pesto recipe is as follows: 2 cups fresh basil leaves, 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cups walnuts or pine nuts, 2 cloves of garlic. Throw everything into your food processor and blend until smooth. This recipe is delicious and only gets better sitting in the freezer. I source my olive oil, walnuts, and Parmesan cheese from @azurestandard because they have the best prices in my location for organic goods. The pizza crust recipe is from @halfbakedharvest

Recipe below Recipe: Soak a handful of cashews in water for at least an hour-don’t throw out soaking water you will use this to help blend. Wash and cut up kale. I used dinosaur kale...I think it makes a better chip but any variety will do. Tip: Cut out the thicker part of the stems and then cut into your desired size chip. Otherwise it will take forever to dehydrate. In food processor blend- 2 cloves garlic 1/4 cup purple onion Handful of presoaked cashews 1/2 red bell pepper 2 table spoons of olive oil About 1/2 cup of cashew soaking water 1/4 cup nutritional yeast Salt and pepper to taste Once you have your blended mixture smooth it over your kale as evenly as you can and pop it in your dehydrator for about 4 hours. You can make them in the oven too. Kembali ke selera masing2 yaaa 🙌🙌🙌 Berikut adalah resepnyaa Semur Ayam Kecap Resep : sessy kitchen Bahan : 1 kg sayap ayam yang sudah dibersihkan, dipotong 2 (beri air jeruk limo, diamkan 15 menit kemudian cuci kembali) 2 buah kayu manis 3 buah cengkeh Garam secukupnya (Aku pakai kaldu jamur merk totole) Gula secukupnya 1/2 buah pala parut halus Lada putih secukupnya 2 lembar daun salam 3 lembar daun jeruk 1 batang serai geprek 1 ruas jari jahe geprek Kecap manis secukupnya (Aku pakai Bango) Bumbu halus : 4 siung bawang putih 4 buah kemiri 1 sdt ketumbar Cara memasak : Panaskan minyak untuk menumis, lalu masukan serai, daun salam,daun jeruk, bumbu halus dan jahe,ditumis hingga harum. Lalu masukan juga kayu manis, cengkeh. Aduk hingga rata. Masukan ayam, aduk rata dan tambahkan kecap manis juga air secukupnya. Tambahkan juga garam (aku pakai kaldu jamur yaa) gula dan pala parut secukupnya. Kecilkan api agar bumbu meresap dan jika air berkurang boleh ditambahkan air lagi sedikit yaa, dan juga jangan lupa untuk koreksi rasa yaaaa. Tambahkan bawang goreng jika semur sudah matang dan siap untuk disajikan, jika suka sedikit asam bisa ditambahkan perasan jeruk limo yaaa. Note : resep ini sama dengan resep 1 ekor ayam yaaaa.
