✔️ First RX comp is now under my belt. . I was terrified because #toestobar are still a weakness, but there’s nothing like pushing the envelope and getting comfortable with the uncomfortable, right? I won’t be better tomorrow if I’m okay remaining the same today. . I’m about to begin a book called ATOMIC HABITS. It’s based around making improvements, habit changes, that are 1% better today than yesterday. Those small, nearly unnoticeable changes add up and at the end of a year, you’re looking at a 37x improvement...versus a 1% deficit each day...we’d dwindle down to nearly nothing without even realizing it. . I don’t know how many times my toe touched that bar Saturday - not many - but I guarantee those were small improvements versus where I’d been before. I’ll take it.

Place the ball on top of your shoulder, close to your neck and a little down . 3. Raise the same side arm overhead pressing your thumb into the wall/ground . 4. Repeat 10-15 times slowly working on increasing range of motion and feeling the tension decrease in the area . 2 GREAT exercises for abs: . 1. Hanging leg raises. This one targets your lower abs. Again 3 x 20 ( add weight if it is too easy) 2. Leg raises on a bench. Here do 3 x 20 (if it gets to easy add weight by holding a dumbbell with your feet) . Note that this exercise will make your abs grow. And if you’re at a high body fat percentage, you won’t see your abs. There is a misconception that working out your abs will make you lose stomach fat. This is not the case. If you want more defined arms, you obviously need to develop your biceps and triceps. But some underlying muscles like your brachialis and brachioradialis can also enhance your arm appearance. Specifically using reverse curls can help with developing these muscles. - The brachialis and brachioradialis flex your elbow (curling your lower arm up). But since the Biceps Brachii muscle is larger and more powerful, it tends to take on most of the load during regular bicep curls. - With a reverse curl, the Biceps Brachii is incorporated less in the lift, forcing the Brachialis + Brachioradialis to take on more of the load [1]. So the reverse curl can be a great exercise if you want to focus on developing the area around your biceps & upper region of the forearm. - Swipe left for a tutorial video of the reverse curl. You can also use the EZ-curl bar if the straight bar feels uncomfortable. The way I currently program reverse curls is by doing them at the end of my upper body training 2x per week.
