Hi insta friends. I think it's about time I did this, and that is be honest with all of you and myself. Keep in mind, this is not a sad post, or a melodramatic one. It's simply me, just opening up and coming a little bit clean about who I am - so please feel free to ignore this post completely, I won't be offended. If you stick it out, then kudos to you! - I think I will always have body image issues. This comes from my fatter days, when I was too embarrassed to take my shirt off in public. I'll always see myself as that 90+kg chain smoker. - I value honesty above all else. I also speak up when I think someone is doing amazingly and inspires me. That has gotten me in trouble in the past when it has been taken as me trying to sleaze on to people. I can promise this is furthest from the truth. - I love my family more than anything. Between them, work, and triathlon, I don't have a lot of time for anything else. And I like it that way, it keeps things simple. - loyalty is a trait that I believe in. I have been very lucky to have met some incredible people on this journey, and their loyalty as friends, companies, and mentors truly humbles me. - I am not done with triathlon, not by a long shot. I'm terrified of what the future holds, but at the same time I am so excited that I have to remind myself to enjoy the present. So that's a few things about me that you may or may not know. I truly thank those wonderful people in my life (you know who you are) for being such inspirations to me. You're all amazing. One of the key areas I’ve been trying to focus on lately are my #biceps. Sarah and I started a brand new fitness program that just launched today... . And holy mother of all that lives and breathes...Day 1 was cray cray!! My arms swelled up to twice as big, my tri’s were so pumped!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼. . And Sarah turned into a magician halfway through the HIIT component as she disappeared from standing next to me, to a twisted pretzel on the floor! 😂😂😂 Don’t worry, she just lost her footing. She’s ok, and that’s why I can laugh...I think!?😬 . That was definitely far from a breeze, but man it’s gonna be effective in a way that we are super stoked about!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼 . And only 4 days a week...which is RAD!! Because life!! And it’s supposed to be really effective. And if day 1 was any indicator, it definitely will be! .
