I’m back!!! Took 8 days off to reset my body and mind. I felt like I needed to regroup and look back at my workouts and see what adjustments could be made going into 2019. Hopefully you have an idea of what you want to accomplish next year, as well as what you want to look and feel like. If you wait till 12/31 you are already behind. My gym goals have been set this week, I’ll be focusing on career and parenting goals the rest of this week and next. More fun with bands. We don't have a pulley system in our garage...YET. I like lat pulldowns, so I have been doing a band variation of them instead. I also use blood flow restriction to help it feel just a little harder.

Bicep and tricep work I don’t always combine these two together on the same day, but the pump is great hitting both sides of the arms . 4-5 exercises on each group and then trying to fix the collar on your shirt 👔 after is a chore 😬🤪

#transformationtuesday A few months pre-op to a few weeks ago. Man have things changed! That guy on the left would get out of breath walking from his car to the front door, eat whatever he wanted whenever he wanted, dream of being fit without putting the work in. . That guy on the right can run to the front of the bus line to release the buses at the end of the day and still be able to breath normally, counts his macros and watches what he eats, puts in A LOT of hard work at getting fit!. . Again, I know I have been given the gift of weight loss surgery. However, many people who have been given the same gift have gained their weight back. I’m not going to let that happen! I will continue to work hard at my diet and improving myself in the gym. You can do it too! You don’t need weight loss surgery to accomplish what I have. Go take a look at @obese_to_beast. He has by far surpassed what I have accomplished without WLS. Midway through my shoulder session I said fuck everyone else around me and started recording some of my lifts. I usually end everyday with weighted abs of some sort and then I jump rope for 10 minutes. I would jump rope over any other cardio on the planet because it’s not boring and doesn’t make my ankles feel like they’re going to break. Moral of the story from today is, fuck everyone around you and do whatever you want 🏋🏼‍♂️
