A Dead Hang is a good way to improve upper body awareness and strength. It's impossible to not mind every small thing when you are carrying your entire weight in your hands. You suddenly notice your shoulders are there and that you have to activate your legs and core so you don't swing, which pinches your palms on the bar. There is a difference between interest and commitment. When you’re interested in something you do it only when it’s convenient. Focus these days are on pullups and grip strength. It was great that my colleague @instaradogram chose to stay with me after work to train with me. He has a strong grip and managed to do all the exercises 💪👌🏻 Lots of pullups, dead hang, kettlebell hold etc. As a finisher we had to pull ourselves up and change grip. Deadhang / Kipping Swing Warum Du einfach mal abhängen solltest!!! Der Deadhang, auch bekannt als das Hanging, ist die wohl beste Mobility Übung für die Schulter, die Ellbogen und Handgelenke. Hier wird der Körper richtig schön wieder in die Länge gezogen und der Rücken entlastet. Im Part I meines Videos, das "Aktive Hängen", wird zusätzlich der Latissimus Dorsi und der Pectoralis Major gedehnt! "Passives Hängen" wäre ohne jegliche Muskelanpassung, sprich man hängt wie ein Sack. Dies wäre auch die Einsteiger Variante. Die Mittelstufe wäre das "Aktive Hängen" und für die Fortgeschrittenen empfehle ich das "Dynamische Hängen" (Kipping Swing), Part II im Video. Des Weiteren wird hier die Griffkraft und -ausdauer trainiert. Ein wesentlicher Bestandteil für Pull Ups (Klimmzüge)! Die Challenge: Ido Portal hat die 30 Tage "Hanging Challenge" ins Leben gerufen. Hier soll man 7min. über den Tag verteilt oder am Stück an 30 Tagen Hängen.
