Dinner last night with my girlfriends at our favorite restaurant in Hoboken @ottostradahoboken ✨✨ not only is this Italian food a m a z i n g but they are SO aware of what it means to be gluten free and the importance of cross contamination 🙌🏼 I eat here religiously because I know I never feel sick once I’ve finished my meal. I haven’t had pizza in FOREVER so I went for the Funghi Rosa last night + burrata (I joke with them and say this pizza should be named after me) 😍🤤 if you live in the area and you haven’t been,I HIGHLY recommend!! . Breakfast : you can make it easy or you can make it hard?? . I used to be vegemite & peanut butter on toast on the daily & not the healthy peanut butter anddd not the healthy kinda bread. . About 2 years ago now I made a massive change in my diet and once I had that under control i started #bbg . I lost almost 10kg in a matter of months. I must admit I don't have time to work out every day buttt when I do find that little spare time I do get in a workout , I also play netball twice a week which keeps me motivated. I feel so good every day knowing my eating habits are 90% fantastic and under control, of coarse i still like that sneaky bit of chocolate or the occasional beer or 3 🙄 Once you get yourself in a routine and know what you want it gets easier, find what works for you. Can someone give me a high-five? My bestie and I went to see the Atlanta United play, I did some things I never thought I would: 1) I DIDN’T get a cotton candy, 2) I DID get a turkey burger and 3) I legitimately fit into an XL shirt for the first time in years! This journey of eating better is forming small habits, and they’re making small changes. I love it!! Two weeks under my belt and my BMI is down 1 point, my body Fat is down 1% and my confidence is way up!! Thanks to @fortitudefitness.llc for being the perfect coach and @cleansimpleeats for showing me a new way. Love it! Love it!

Avo, eggs, chilli flakes, sourdough 😍#breakfastheaven . A breakfast like this packed with protein and good fats is full of nutrients and will keep you full for ages or you could have a smoothie full of veggies and loads of other good stuff but......if you can't be bothered, don't feel that hungry or just don't feel inspired to make anything much some days, a simple piece of fruit is a better option in my opinion than a bowl of cornflakes or a bit of white toast with jam or nutella or any of the other crappy breakfasts that many people are eating every day. . Fruit sometimes gets a bad wrap. You don't have to stick to low sugar fruits and you don't have to avoid it if you're trying to lose weight. I'm yet to see someone who's weight or health issues are due to them eating too much fruit! 🤔 . Don't over think it. If you're trying to make some changes but aren't sure where to start, it could be as simple as having a couple of pieces of fruit for breakfast for now instead of the sugary breakfast cereal and go from there 💚

Watch these biccys come to life ➡️ These are so yummy! I really loved jam drops as a kid and wanted to recreate them! I also wanted to make my own jam for them! I didn’t have strawberries 🍓 but I had dates 🤩 ⚪️Inside the base is⚪️ 3/4 cup of buckwheat 1/2 cup of coconut flour 2 tbsp of almond meal 2tbsp nuttelex (first time trying this, and it turned out pretty well) 1tsp of baking powder 1tsp of vanilla essence 1 egg 2tbsp of @pureharvest rice malt 1 tbsp of coconut oil Combined all these in a bowl as pictured above ⏫ ⚪️AND THE JAMMMM ⚪️ because jam from the shop can have so many hidden nasties and #aintnobodygottimeforthat 1 cup of dates 1 cup of water 2 tbsp of @thechiaco chia seeds 1 tbsp of coconut sugar Put all of these into a saucepan on high boiling point until it starts to reduce and become thick! I then added another 1/2 cup of water as I went until I got the desired consistency! Be sure to stir the whole time!
