@Regran_ed from @donnamaria1961 - Warning ⚠️ The last two videos are hard to watch. This is intended for educational purposes. If you’re already aware of #phajaan ,than viewer discretion. ____________________________ @itsrichrush is a Travel Agent and @rushescape is the name of her Travel Agency. She told me “ I don’t care”. Well I do. Travel agents need to be responsible with what they promote. The third last video shows a captive mother elephant chained up. It’s baby desperately wants to walk with her. Her baby has since been stolen from her and her little one was forced to endure “PHAJAAN”. Your day of fun is a lifetime of misery to an animal many claim to love. Baby elephants are taken from mom. Tied to a tree and left to suffer alone in fear without any food or water. The actual abuse of the training is what every single elephant endures for the tourism and entertainment industry. @itsrichrush May not care, but I do and so do millions of others who work endlessly to educate people. Never ride an elephant or pay to watch them do anything unnatural. This includes trunk slapping travellers for their social media accounts. Elephants who paint, ride bikes, play soccer, dance, are canvases for people to draw on. Please book your vaccinations with responsible Travel Agents who do care. Standing tall through the wars and the festivals over the years Home to Jodha Bai (or Hira Bai) herself the Amer Fort. Can't believe going to walk up the same ramp that once Akbar had gone through to visit the Amer Fort to marry Jodha Bai (or Hira Bai)... #amerfort #jaipurtourism #jodhabai #hirabai #rajputspride #standingtall #historicalbeauty #history #ramp #elephantrides

NO compromise on our stand towards NOT supporting / promoting / booking Elephant Rides and Safaris. Even if means losing business ! One instance when we are more than happy to lose business rather than promote the abuse and cruelty. And best part is it is supported / appreciated by our guests and so many others ! Riding Elephants and Loving Elephants cannot be together. Simple. #notonmybucketlist #elephantabuse #elephantrides #saynotoelephantsafaris #elephant #elephantabuse #peta #animalcruelty #noanimalrides #saynoyoelephantride #wildlifesos #elephant #elephantabuse #abuse #torture #chainedup #ethics #stopanimalabu #freedomforanimals #tiger #nationalpark #wildlife #wildlifeplanet #catsofinstagram #tigress #wildlifephotography #nature #india #indiatour #jaipur #kerala #kaziranga #bandhavgarh #peta

Wonderful news! @Regran_ed from @animalsasia - ELEPHANT RIDES are a thing of the past in VIETNAM'S YOK DON NATIONAL PARK, replaced by the country's first and only ETHICAL ELEPHANT TOURS. Visitors to the park now trek to observe the four elephants roaming naturally in the forest. It's an amazing experience which works for the elephants, the tourists and the mahouts. And if successful, it could convince other elephant owners in the country and even the region, to turn their backs on rides and embrace welfare. The project was made possible thanks to Animals Asia’s amazing Animal Welfare team and generous funding by the wonderful Olsen Animal Trust!

Are you a responsible traveler? You may think its fun to take a ride on an elephant but did you know that the elephants need to be ‘broken’ in spirit to tame them enough so they become docile transport providers just for your entertainment?! Please SAY NO to elephant back safari rides in #srilanka #elephantrides 🚫🐘

🐘I was once this person- who always loved elephants and went on rides on family trips, telling myself as I had been told- look, they look happy and they’re so big and strong- we aren’t hurting them... . 🐘I was this person once, allowing elephants to ‘bless’ me as I would rather pray to a real life animal than an imaginary god. Giving this elephant money and foolishly believing that he would be given treats from it. . 🐘We are or were this person once..but today on Ayudha Puja where we worship and thank all the tools in our lives, let’s not make these amazing sentient animals our tools. And let’s not be tools in a system that treats any animal like this! . 🐘Instead, lets get into the true spirit of the festival and use it as a tool for growth! To want change and better for us, for the animals and for the planet! . 🐘Here’s why this is bad for elephants: 🔹They normally walk and graze over 40 miles a day and in temples and palaces, they are kept chained for long hours which makes them sick. 🔹They have poor diet in captivity- from a diverse range of roots, shoots, grasses, foliage and tubers in the wild, they get Just sugarcane fodder which leads to illnesses of their gut. 🔹Usually only male elephants are used leading to a skewed sex ratio. 🔹They’re highly social creatures and live in complex families of as many as 100, just like big Indian families! In small artificial units, they are deprived of family and socialisation. . 🐘All this causes these elephants to die at 40 instead of 70 because of a life of torture and neglect. . 🐘I for one- love love elephants! Have met free and wild ones and it’s amazing! Don’t you want these wonderful creatures to live happy and free like us- not shackled and depressed?! . 🐘So, this Ayudha Puja, I urge you to not encourage captivity for elephants and not encourage the jumbo processions! Let’s be tools for growth. 🙏🏾 . 🐘You can find more information on www.godsinshackles.com.💙 . #vegansofig #girlswhotravel #travelblogger #activist #animalrights
