I gained 2.3 lbs since I left for my trip to Nashville. WHAT THE FUQ 😱😱😱⁣ ⁣ Kidding! (well not about the weight 😝) but about me being upset. ⁣ Fully expected. ⁣ ⁣ I tried moving a lot while I was there: ⁣🚶🏾‍♀️Walked everywhere. 💃🏾Danced a ton. 🏃🏽‍♀️Went on a 5 mile run (longest run i’ve done in a LONG time) 🤸🏾‍♀️Even did aerial yoga for the 1st time! ⁣ ⁣ For the most part I aimed for balanced meals at every restaurant we ate at..⁣ ⁣ minus the late night 🍕 on my last night 🤫⁣ ⁣ or the Legendairy Milkshake (youll see)🤤 ⁣ Hey, just trying to be #transparent with y’all. ⁣ Did I do any weight lifting? Negative. ⁣ ⁣ Is it the end of the world that I GAINED weight when I’m actually supposed to be going down in wt? NEGATIVE. ⁣ ⁣ Did I gain 2.3lb of actual body fat? NEGATIVE. ⁣ ⁣ Do I feel a lil extra fluffy today? 🤷🏽‍♀️HELLA.⁣ ⁣ Did I have a blast with my girls celebrating #sandyslastbashinnash? HELLA.⁣ ⁣ Not upset about my progress (or lack of). I did what I could. Right back to my Arizona routine bc #consistency right? Today = Day 1 of my mini cut. ⁣ ⁣ I also leave for my girls bachelorette party this week😱😳#callmecrazy⁣ ⁣ I guess I could wait and “Start When I Get Back” 🤷🏽‍♀️ ....but then I leave for San Fran, then San Diego, then Las Vegas...⁣ ⁣ See, if I keep waiting “for the right time”, that probably will never really come #amiright 💁🏽‍♀️⁣ ⁣ Does it make me nervous to start a cut when i’m not in full control of my food intake or my workout time or gym?⁣ ⁣ ABSO-FUQN-LUTELY.⁣ ⁣ BUT, I want to show you guys there’s no ⏸ button on life, and no such thing as the RIGHT TIME.⁣ ⁣ Here’s a little back story:⁣ When I first moved to AZ I was holding on to a lot of body fat, sitting at 165-167lb due to a lack of training/diet routine, wrist injury, and LOTS of stress ➡️ Right now I’m sitting at around 156 -158lb & have been enjoying life, eating what I want when I want, and not taking training too seriously (aka I get quick workouts in when I can. Motto: #moveoften). It’s been some time now since I’ve tracked calories or followed a workout regimen precisely so Im challenging myself to be more aware especially while traveling, to dedicate myself to training, and to reach a goal of reduced body fat in 6 weeks.⁣ ⁣ I want to show you guys that cutting weight does take time and CAN be achieved while enjoying life with just a little CONSISTENCY and AWARENESS of the calories coming in and the calories out, sprinkled with a little more dedication😜⁣ ⁣ Follow me on my journey as I will try my best to keep you guys updated as much as I can over these next few weeks!!
