MEAL PREP SUNDAY! This week I chose shrimp and chicken for my proteins. I cooked the shrimp in fresh lemon, garlic, and a bit of cayenne. I marinated the chicken overnight in Litehouse Organic balsamic vinaigrette, and cooked on low so I could shred it. I did a huge stir fry of broccoli, peppers, onions, and green beans. I made red and white quinoa pasta as my carb! Remember - failure to prepare is preparing to fail! πŸ’₯MEAL PREPπŸ’₯ β€’ So I’m starting a cut tomorrow and meal prep is something I would be able complete a successful cut without. Once of my favourite saying is β€˜failure to prepare is preparing to fail’.... now having said that I’ll tell you why! β€’ When you have prepped your food you should have no reason to slip off track, you won’t need to go hungry or have to subsidise your food with stop bought meal deals etc.. to cut it short prepped food keeps you on track and hunting your goals! β€’ #frazerhendyfitness #mealprep #failuretoprepareispreparingtofail

Forgot to log this earlier in the week, push session planned an amrap 160kg bench press didn’t give myself a lot of time to do my usual warm ups and rushed my sets still got this 160kgx3 which i haven’t done for a while but sadly strained my front delt as you can see a very of balance set. Didn’t hurt at the time so carried on and did 2x6 on 135kg back down sets and finished my accessories after. β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” Pushing your body in any sport is always going to take its toll and the main thing we can do to stop that is through correct nutrition and rest most importantly sleep. If your not getting enough sleep and fuelling your body badly you’ll never be at your full potential and more likely to be injured. I make sure every day my breakfast is the full of everything I need to start my day right and aid my body in the training I have that day been a huge game changer in my progress the last few months. #failuretoprepareispreparingtofail #diet #benchpress #injuries #mindset
