Salads may be one of the first diet meals you may think of. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard, “I just had a salad!” from people who are trying to tidy up their diets and eat better. Unfortunately, not all salads are created equal! ⁣ ⁣ Yes, you can absolutely eat a salad that’s very low calorie. But beware of the big salads with lots of delicious, crunchy, deep-fried toppings… the calorie content may shock you! It’s not uncommon for restaurant salads in particular to contain over 1,000 Calories when you factor in the dressing, croutons, avocado/guacamole, etc. which is oftentimes more than a burger. ⁣ ⁣ You’re better off creating your own salad and being mindful of what goes into it. I have NEVER been confident with wearing a swimsuit in public, infact ill stay away from pools and the sea due to my EXTREME anxiety with body image and other peoples perceptions of my body. I understand that most of this is from my childhood, with a parent that would constantly say " No body wants fat daughters" Merry Christmas heres a treadmill and rowing machine, "First impressions mean everything, no man wants a fat girlfriend, no employer will hire you over a skinny blonde" "Ill pay you to lose weight" "Remember when you had small thighs and were hot". I was never overweight growing up. Strange how these statements SUBCONSCIOUSLY played a huge impact on my self confidence. Recipe time🍝🍝🍝 Roasted Zucchini & chicken pasta😛😛 - Remember to save this if you wanna make it in the future (which you do🍝 haha) - “Ingredients 80g of spaghetti 1 whole zucchini 1 small onion 1 clove of garlic 4oz of cooked chicken breast Olive oil spray Fresh rosemary Parmesan cheese 250g of tinned plum tomatoes - 1. Cut zucchini into small squares, then place in a 230 celsius oven for like 20 minutes (you’ll see when it’s done) 2. Cook spaghetti for 9-10 minutes in salted boiling water. 3. Chop onion, garlic and rosemary leafs into fine pieces 4. spray your pan and throw in your onion on a low heat, cook onion for 1 minute (just sweating it basically) 5. Then when onion has started to get a bit translucent, throw in your garlic and rosemary and mix together. Let that cook for another minute 6. Now add the, tomatoes, pasta, Cooked chicken & roasted zucchini, and just let it cook for a minute or two while mixing before serving. Top with parm and enjoy 😄🍝 (oh and I obviously cut up my chicken beast:)) - 565Cals Fat: 7 Carbs: 71 Protein: 50 - This is bomb!!
