SWEATY SATURDAY!💦One of our goals this year is to work up a sweat more often💪🏻⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With extra energy being in ketosis, we’ve been putting it to use in some circuit style training post lifting to get our sweat on. This has been major🔑 for making this mini cut easier & keeping our macros as high as possible so far (this, being in ketosis, and getting our steps in). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Sweating is one of those icky but v rewarding feelings, but tbh us gals don’t sweat that often, even with lifting 5-6 days a week🤨 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you don’t either, here’s some reasons to consider getting your sweat on. Sweating: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💥detoxifies & helps remove those xenoestrogens 💥releases endorphins😃😃😃 💥helps protect against viruses & bacteria 💥feels dang good (cept when it stains your workout tops😒) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Today’s mini circuit didn’t quite bring us the sweat we wanted, but it did successfully burn out our shoulders & arms 💪🏻 We ain’t circuit experts, but give this a shot if you want your arms to fall off😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⏩ 4 rounds of 30 seconds each: ⚡️Battle rope slams ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⚡️Med ball slams ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⚡️Up & down planks ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So… 30 seconds of battle ropes is murderous😵 After round 1 we contemplated toning that down to 20 seconds but we had already committed. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Have you been following through with your 2019 resolutions? Sometimes I’m still so stoked and hyper from the day that I need a gentle stretching routine to get in a relaxed state and ready for bed 😴 By focusing on my body and my breath, I immediately feel a sense of calmness coming over me. 🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏼Stretching before bed has shown to relieve any muscle tension that may have built up over the day and it also prevents cramps (getting plenty of H2O 💦 in during the day also helps a lot). It’s time to highlight some women who are absolutely crushing it right now 🔥 . Working towards your goals isn’t always easy, between busy schedules, sick kiddos and life just getting in the way, there is ALWAYS an excuse to give up, walk away and throw in the towel. . The difference here is that these women get to workout at home, when it works for THEM. They each committed to a simple workout program between 20-30 min a day. They have a workout calendar to follow so they know EXACTLY what to do and when. It’s totally not worth it and you’re not missing out on anything! 5. That man you’re standing next to... he’s not the one even though you might think he is... don’t let him tell you who you are and never let him control you again. Get out now. 6. You’re gonna meet this guy Paul in about a year! He is the man you’ll end up marrying! Do yourself a favor and start dating him right when you meet him.... you’ll save yourself a ton of heartbreak by not having to date all the other toads in between 😂 7. It’s not all about the money! Follow your passions and dreams and I promise you the financial aspect will take care of itself. 8. Study abroad in Thailand! Don’t even hesitate! It’s the coolest adventure you’re never going to forget and it shapes you into who you are today! 9. Hug your fur baby Bandit every chance you get. She isn’t around much longer but she is the reason that you end up fostering and rehoming your next 44 dogs! ... and just wait to see the property your dog shelter will be on one day! You’re gonna love it! 10. Find God now. You’ll see why!🙏 11. Give Back — It will make your life better. And it will make other people’s lives better. Being of service to someone in need is probably the most important thing that all of us can do. You never know when you’re going to be that person in need. And selfishly, it makes you feel good. One of the things I struggle the most with is consistency. And it happens to be the second most important factor to reaching your fitness goals. (The first is patience 😉). - Does this sound familiar? You find an awesome plan you’re excited to follow. You start out super strong. Then life gets in the way. You decide to put watching just one more episode of “You” before your scheduled gym sesh. - And then by the end of the month you throw your hands up and say “THIS PLAN DIDNT WORK!” You’re still at square one. - That’s me. Right there. To a T. But I have learned that it isn’t the plan. It’s me. I have to take responsibility for breaking promises to myself. I have to ask if that extra hour of video games was really worth it instead of working on my goals. If it is, great! But at least you understand why you’re still where you are. - You should always have a plan. But you’ve also got to work it and work it CONSISTENTLY. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither can our bodies be. It’s uncomfortable to change. But nothing spectacular ever came from anyone’s comfort zone. - Happy Friday friends ☺️ As you go into the weekend - the most notorious time to ruin your consistency- just remind yourself what you want, and then remember that you’re strong. You can and will be amazing. 💖

Two pics! The second one makes me giggle! But, I think it accurately shows our relationship! I had just gotten home from work and I couldn’t wait to snuggle this girl! . She was 5 months old. I was dropping her off at daycare at 6:30am and picking her up around 5:30-6pm, if I was lucky. . Then, it was dinner, bath & bed because she was tired and so was I! After she went to bed, I’d jump on my computer and work some more... prep for the next day and go to bed. . I was struggling with my weight. I felt under appreciated at my job. And, I was sick of living basically the same day, over and over again and calling it a life! I basically saw my family for 1 hour a day Monday - Friday! Can you relate? . I remember it like it was yesterday! One Saturday in February, I had worked in the morning... yes, on Saturday, and drove home in a blizzard to enjoy my afternoon with my family. I asked my neighbor if she could tell me more about her fitness group and she invited us over to learn more. That was the day my life changed. Seems dramatic, but it’s so true! . The first pic, is today! Fayth is home from school for a teacher in service day. I’m helping people for an hour or so, then it’s off to the grocery store before the snow storm and then the science center! No need to waste a vacation day or spend my entire day glued to my computer. . One little Yes, transformed my life completely! . Are you needing to learn a little more too? I used to count calories. This is what I considered healthy. I downloaded an app where I could track everything I ate and as long as I stayed within 1250 calories for the day it was a win. EVEN if that meant spending 400 on a doughnut and having to skip dinner to make up for it. OR binging on oreos and having to burn an additional 500 calories at the gym ON TOP OF the goal target of 500 calories I started with. . This was my focus and boy was I FOCUSED 🤦🏼‍♀️. . It makes me so sad to think of that lifestyle and how much of a prisoner I was to food. There was no balance. Food was a reward or a punishment. I didn’t respect my body. I was so zoned into the crazy ideals of “healthy” and “skinny” that are marketed to us on an EVERY day basis. It’s what we hear about on TV, or what is implied I’m magazine articles and advertisements. . THIS IS NOT HEALTHY 💥 Sacarficing food for a calorie count, working out as a punishment for nutrition, pills, wraps, replacing 2-3 meals a day with shakes, are NOT HEALTHY. . I couldn’t break free from that mentality until I was forced too because of some pretty serious stomach issues and an all but destroyed sense of self worth and confidence. . Eating well and exercising takes CONSISTENCY and hard work. It’s not an overnight fix but it is the RIGHT way to get healthy and stay healthy. . I have made a lot of changes to my lifestyle and worked VERY hard to get where I am now, and I am PROUD to say that my passion is helping others on their journey. I’m not saying it’s easy, but I am saying that with me as your coach, the right tools and the right community of support, it is WORTH it. . Bílek vyšleháme, smícháme s ostatními ingrediencemi, necháme chvíli odstát a smažíme na kokosovém oleji do zlatova😻😻 Já si jeden natřela rajčatovou pomazánkou z lidlu, druhý domácím humusem na který chci přidat recept, třetí a čtvrtý (ten tam není, protože jsem je stihla sežrat!) jsem si dala samotný. Was ist dein Ziel? (Im Training, im Leben,...) 🤔 . Ich hatte kürzlich ein interessantes Gespräch mit einer ganz lieben Person über Motivation. 👌 Dabei kamen wir irgendwann an dem Punkt wo - mal wieder - gesagt wurde, dann man Ziele braucht, um für eine Sachen richtig zu brennen und motiviert zu bleiben. 💪🏻 Mein Ziel im Training ist es aktuell erstmal 5kg abzunehmen und dann nochmal zu schauen, wohin die Reise noch gehen soll. Und seit ich mir dieses Ziel gesetzt habe läuft es! Fast 2kg sind jetzt weg und die Motivation fürs Training will einfach nicht nachlassen. 😍 Definiert euch Ziele ganz klar: sie sollten messbar sein, zb wie bei mir minus 5kg. Man sollte einen Zeitrahmen festlegen, zb innerhalb von 8 Wochen. Es sollte konkret und realistisch sein.
