Except I used to say that every SINGLE time someone tried to talk to me about beautycounter. ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ All of my close friends raved about it but I didn’t buy into it. One of them being that what I put on {and in} my body all ties in with being a good steward of what he’s given me. ⁣ .⁣ 𝗠𝘆 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁. ⁣ .⁣ Then once I saw my sons eczema issues almost vanish once we switched to safer, I was all in. Seriously, what are they putting in kids body wash these days!? ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ So now I’m linking arms with this awesome company that’s all about changing the beauty industry. Its not okay that there is no regulation on what we put on our bodies. ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ Don’t worry, I won’t be flooding your inboxes. How to be a triple threat👇🏻 . 👉🏻Hit your calories/macronutrients 👉🏻Sleep 7-9 hours a night 👉🏻Train effectively . Sounds like common sense but a lotta people (myself included sometimes) will complain after having a bad work out, meanwhile they're not auditing themselves and their routine . If you're neglecting one of the three things above, you'll never perform at your best, and you'll never hit your physique goal . You need to optimize as much as possible if you're hungry for progress . Hitting your cals/macros will allow you to control your body weight, be it muscle gain or fat loss . Sleeping 7-9 hours a night gives your body the time it needs to recover and rebuild itself . And of course, once you're eating properly and getting adequate sleep, you'll be able to perform at your best (or close to it) and your strength/physique/energy levels will inevitably get better . Next time you catch yourself bitching about a poor nights sleep, a shitty workout, or a long ass day, audit your routine cuz it's most likely self inflicted😀

I work out routinely. I do push-ups, squats, cardio & more. And you know what? I have loose skin. I have side boob fat. I have loads of stretch marks and a huge csection scar. I am self conscious of my feet. I have cellulite on my legs. I have insecurities. With that said... I love my body. I am proud of it. I have worked hard & this body is my machine. This body allows me to carry my almost 5 year old up the stairs to bed. It allows me to walk and hug my family members. This body is mine & I am done hating it. I love my body. 💕

Made a batch of @fit_and_fullycaffeinated ‘s carrot muffins! 🥕 • Shredded carrot, oats, eggs, spices 😍 I also added some raisins because why not? I topped with some sunbutter for a nice hearty breakfast! Can you believe the servings size is 3??!!! I could only finish 2! Saving #3 for a snack later. 🙌🏻🥕• • Definitely gonna make these again and tweak the recipe, maybe use a food processor for the carrots, and maybe some honey or maple for a bit more sweetness 👌🏻 • • = 💛❤️💚🥄 (and like 1/4💜 if you add raisins 🤷🏻‍♀️) and that’s for 3 muffins! plus whatever you topped with 🥄🥄

I need to share some #toughlove with you guys this morning, because it’s been on my heart.❤️⁣ ⁣ Why is it that we will stay up late binge watching shows on Netflix, but we won’t set our alarms to wake up an hour earlier so that we can workout? ⁣ ⁣ Why is that we will spend $500 (and more) on a purse or pair of shoes, $200 on our hair, $100 on our nails, but don’t see value in investing in our health and fitness? ⁣ ⁣ We have to do better y’all. And I am guilty of this myself. There was a time that I didn’t see taking care of my health as a worthwhile investment. I would have much rather spent that money on something that made me feel better in the moment, something fun or something that I thought make made me took prettier until I shifted my mindset. I’m not saying we shouldn’t splurge on nice things or keep up our hair and nails ladies, Lord knows all that is important too! But HEALTH has to be priority#1.⁣ ⁣ Obesity and associated conditions like Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, high BP are at an all time high in this country, and what’s even worse, is that it’s starting younger and younger... our children are developing these conditions y’all. We have to do better. We have to teach our children to do better, and we do that by leading by example. I decided to change my eating I was going to bootcamp etc. But it wasn't enough. So,I quit again🤷🏽‍♀️. Paddle boarding was no different It was so relaxing being able to be out in nature, exercising, but yet relaxing. Awhile back my mom, sister and I took a trip out to Colorado, my favorite place, and one day we decided to paddle board out in the mountains. My sister had never paddle boarded before, but she picked up on it quickly. We spent hours out on that mountain lake. Guten Morgen - heut ging’s wieder zum Bäcker. Da es ganz gut lief, bin ich einen Umweg gelaufen. Zuhause wurde aber auf die frischen & leckeren Brötchen von @baeckereijunge gewartet, so bin ich nicht so lange gelaufen. Aber es war wieder herrlich - vor allem Schwäne beim Starten zu beobachten und andere Vögel zu sehen - Möven, Austernfischer ...
