🚘I’m not a mechanic. I know, shocking. I mean I post about cars ALL of the time right?! - 🔧Spark plugs are great. Without them your car won’t run. I think, If you have a flat tire remember to screw the lugs back on in a ⭐️Star Formation, otherwise the wheels will fall off. - I don’t know if any of that is true. But that’s about as far as my knowledge of cars goes. - ⏰Let’s shift back into my usual topic, fitness. It seems that everyone has an opinion on *aspartame*, *Keto*, *Weightlifting*, *Paleo*, & *organic vs inorganic*, & *whatever else*. . 🧐Yet 99% of people have never looked up a case study in their life. Have never actually taken a test or been certified. Have never spent a second of time to seek whether what they’re saying is true. But with just a couple of references from our friends and suddenly we’re experts. - 🐎I would bet that most people would admit they’re not very good with cars. Instead of trying to fix the car ourselves when it breaks down. We own our shortcomings and pony the money up to get it fixed. This can be said with any profession. I’m not going to be able to purge my computer of all of Tracey’s Porn. I need an expert for that.😅 - 😐So let me ask you a question. When your body is in need of a tune up, some new wheels, & maybe some new spark plugs. Why don’t you treat your body like your car and get help? Is your body not important? Does it not deserve to be treated to last? . 💂🏼‍♂️You’re not able to replace it, yet. Stop putting unnecessary stress on it, get help from someone who is an *expert*, enlist their help to fix your (car...body) - Food for thought my friends

#chestday • . I am beginning to go from 300 variations and sets per day to less than 3-4 variations and love the change! . This kind of training is great for hypertrophy (muscle growth) vs for #fatloss . . Today I did the press in the smith machine instead of bench or dumbbell. This was a little less taxing on the core and a little more focused on the pecs. Do this every few weeks when you want to get in a few extra reps and are not exhausted from your core wanting to just balance the bar straight. It also will help you get chest to bar without worrying about dying, since you could always lock the bar if you absolutely cannot get it up. Also for beginners with muscle imbalances, the smith is a great practice ground before you progress to the barbell and eventually dumbbells. . I superset with trying to hold a tuck stand to work my forearms. I barely train my forearms in isolation but movements like this are great for overall development. Every time I fell in the tuck balance, I just went back up. I tried to do this fall- down- up thing for 60 seconds. Just this one superset was enough for me to almost cry out of the burn in my pecs. . Key: Go REAL slow! Tuesday Tip : Feed the muscle !! You need to retain the muscle you built with any workout, else the muscle starts dying. When you don’t feed it or don’t workout regularly, the fat starts coming up. Have a good healthy meal/ breakfast post a workout. If you are on-the-go, carry a banana and boiled eggs or a smoothie. Eat within that hour.
