Today I wanna talk about eating practices that totally changed the game for me, and I want it to help you. However - just because it worked for me - doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll work for you. However - with open mindedness - take what aligns - disregard what doesn’t They say results are made in the kitchen. I can’t agree with this more. But I give equal weight to everything we do. Training. Eating. Sleeping. Farting. Living with a positive state of mind. You can eat great - but if your relationships with yourself and others still suck - then what it all for? 😂 However. Here are 12 eating habits that help me thrive 👊🏼💪🏾🙏 1. Not being afraid of carbs (I currently eat upward of 600g per day). 2. Eating enough calories and not being afraid of energy (calories aren’t all equal - just as we don’t paint people with the same brush - we shouldn’t do it solely with food). 3. Eating solely plants (you heard it here - you’ll hear it again 😂). 4. Eating a shit tonne of veggies (half you plate - every plate beside oats should be green). 5. Eat a balance of carbs, fats and protein. All of which are found in plentiful amounts in plantbased whole foods. 6. Eating larger first meal (I like eating large first. Satisfy me early - the better my day shall be, the better my choices generally are). 7. I use primarily whole clean lean starches to fuel my performance - potatoes. 8. Remain open minded. 9. Doing our own research and listening to our own body. Someone else can give your some answers. And point you in a direction, But, The best research is the one you and I do ourselves. Don’t stop learning. 10. Eating in an 8 hour window - between 10am-6pm. 11. Don’t overthink it. 12. Drop Nooch on everything. 😂😂😂

Some days you just feel like 💩. A few might know what I'm talking about, but most probably won't. Hashi days just suck. But I had to get it in. Thank you @bodyrocktv_lisamarie for sharing your weekend workout with us. Hiitmax Reps 86. Was the perfect workout for the day. I contemplated wearing my vest, but thought better of it. Accountability partners for sure. 🙌 6 exercises repeated for 5 rounds. And you know what happens at the end, always a little twist with some variations. And 100 tuck abs as the finisher. The body did not really want to function, but mind over matter. Hope its not too noticeable. My legs were kind of shaking a little. 14.5 miles in the bag today with 1100ft of elevation gain. I can't even begin to express how much better I've felt mentally after these last couple runs OUTSIDE. - The last milestone at work hit me really hard, and drained me in ways previous ones have not. The timing lined up pretty well with when my seasonal depression likes to pop up each year. Running usually keeps me level during those times, but the added hours made it hard to maintain the miles, and it beat me up mentally. - I learned a lot about myself this go around, and the bottom line is that I need to get better at managing my exercise no matter how crazy things get. If you want bigger biceps, lift heavy weights. I personally like to blast my biceps at the end of my workouts. Find heavy weight that allow you to lift 6-8 reps for about 3-4 sets. Try it out and let me Know how it goes for you.
