- I used to push people to hard and communicate in a way that caused people to feel lower than me or less of a person this wasn’t because I was doing it on purpose it was because I cared for them in their success. Because I didn’t understand the dichotomies of Leadership knowing that you have to give direction and accountability but you have to allow that person to take initiative and want their dreams for themselves. Learning to empower them through believing in them because I’m here to tell you I’m a product of just a few people believing in me which gave me a reason to believe in myself. . When you become aware then you can recognize and become a better leader. . This video/podcast and now I’m reading the book “The Dichotomy of Leadership” by @jockowillink have changed my life!! . Gooooodddddd Afternoonnnn! Happy Sundayyy!!! So here is my HIIT workout from this morning! I look crazy.. but idc ... I hope you didn't get any butt crack hahaha To make it worse my baby boy got up right before I was gonna start soooO i couldnt listen to my trap music lol Buttttt Mission complete and I'm going about my day This video is of me doing the last of 3 rounds of the exercises in the video.. hence the sweat.. Ill list them here since I didn't in the video... The girl in the video said it would take 30 mins... it took me about 35 minutes lol. Def. a great workout if you need something really quick. 10 in intensity.. my legs burned alot. I made it my own like always.. Ill put the link in comments. So I did a 6 week challenge with the goal of losing 6% of my body fat. I ended up losing 11 pounds and 4% body fat and couldn’t be happier! The journey was fun and I gained new friends throughout he process! I hit the gym hard almost everyday and sometimes twice a day! Although I did not hit my ultimate goal, I invested in myself and came out happier! I love my gym family and I’m sad it is over! Big thanks to Jeff, Ryne, Alex and Juan who have helped guide us in the process! I know we loved having the support and guidance from all of y’all in the process! Happy Saturday!! Every journey is different. I have done programs that changed my life, but didn’t impact others as much. There have been programs that I liked but they didn’t impact me as much as others on my team. Remember that there is a healthy lifestyle that is all yours. Why the workout, you ask? Many don’t understand why I push myself the way I do... so here’s a list of reasons why I do it: 1. Because my body is capable; I need to push the boundaries 2. Mental stimulation and growth; keeping that mindset to push myself during the workouts, proving to myself that I can do the same in any other situation in life. 3. To become strong - physically and mentally. 4. To achieve the body I know I deserve. 5. For a healthy body and mind. 6. So that I can do whatever I want and not feel that I am not capable. 7.
