Celebrating Noticeable Strength Gains the past two weeks and the ability to recognize the possible link w/the extra few numbers that have not budged on the scale since January Without feeling the need or panic to fix it has me feeling all kinds of motivated! 😌💪🏼 Committing to the #gymshark66 habit forming challenge of Detoxing myself from daily weigh ins was seriously the best thing I could have ever done for myself and I’m so grateful to finally be in a better mental place 🙌🏻 When your clothes fit the same and you feel relatively similar in the mirror to what you did before the holidays last year, BUT you pump out 15 reps of multiple moves you couldn’t squeek out over 5 just a month ago, you just need to stop being a psycho and celebrate where the gains truly matter and not stress over the scaled ones,right?🤷🏻‍♀️ One of my new goals I’ve set for myself for the summer is to not get comfortable and to try new things, even if it means making a complete fool of myself as an awkward newb (hot yoga @dakotaflynn1 🤣) because it truly is the only way to keep challenging yourself and to discover new ways to get better, and I don't know about y'all but im all aboard the perfectly imperfect self improvement goal train 🙋🏻‍♀️ Hope everyone has an amazing Monday, and if you didn't wake up grateful for the opportunity and drive to go crush something, No Worries! Just like many of you, I was feeling a bit sluggish this morning. I had an hour free before my sessions started so I decided to work on my lower body. While my strength wasn’t through the roof at 6am, the rest of my Monday has been great because I forced myself to move early in the day. My mood has been elevated and I’ve been productive and efficient with my work. It’s not always possible, but consider moving your workout to early morning and see how much better your life can be!

My brain says “redo 19.5 - you will lose sleep over it if you don’t” and many of you know how much it hurts me to move on, if I know I can do better but I have to keep the long game in sight and move on. - The best remedy for fitness type A’s = lift something heavy to distract you from how much you want to suffer through 19.5 again. - At least I can say that my score is legit 😉 - I went full drooling baby mode and all. 👶🏽☕️

#legday mixed with #cardio. Not gonna lie. Even though my eating wasn’t on point last night, I feel good. This is the first time I’ve worn a cut off since a while. Like. One that actually showed my whole side. Goes past my sports bra. I’ve lost a total of 14 lbs (fluctuating) and I feel great. Sometimes I feel like nothings changed, 14 lb sounds like a lot but when I look at myself. Physically I don’t see a change. That’s the mental space that I need to get out of. That’s where my support system comes in. Are there days where I’m like “f*>£k it, I’ll be fat and happy idc”..hell yeah..but those are the days I really need to kick it in gear. In the end if I quit. I’m just going to be in the same vicious cycle. And I promise you it’s not fun. So look at the little stuff, obviously have a big goal, but set small ones to crush. It gives you motivation to move forward!

I toasted to a beautiful soul that will never be forgotten and stood in front of a crowd of 2500 people with my sisters to sing tribute to the most inspiring woman I knew.
