Happy Earth Day friends!! 🌍🌐🌞🌙♻️🌱 One of my personal goals recently has been to do more things that make me put my phone down! Growing up as a 90s baby, we were disconnected..and wasn't it better? You'd wait by the house phone for your friend to call, show up at your neighbors door to play, yell 5 more minutes when your mom called you in for dinner... Now we have access to everybody and anybody at our finger tips. Its great in many ways and technology sure has advantages..but sometimes it feels good to get back to being unplugged and being in touch with nature, family, and friends. ITS THE WEEKEND 🌟 Today has been a very chilled day with nice weather! Took an impromptu rest day since I had some bad DOMS but mostly because my body hasn’t really caught up from my weekend away and I’ve done 5 days so far! 😋 . ●💢Body positivity post💢● I would say the past year I have fallen out of the workout life pretty hard. After switching gyms it just gave me the biggest drive that I needed. Sometimes it takes a change of atmosphere to spark your interest again and that's exactly what happened for me! I'm still fluffy right now but I've just been moving weight and not real concerned with cutting down. But my new goal is to cut down and continue to push heavy weight. All my lifts have went up and I can see positive progression in the changes in my body and couldn't be more happier! After gaining weight it knocked me down pretty far but taking pictures lately has really helped to see progress and boost my spirits back up! Sometimes you cant compare yourself to the fitness women and men around you especially if you're not "supplementing" the way they are. I've had to stop staring at fitness post of ridiculous built and cut women and come back to the natural workout world goals and stop comparing myself to unnatural competition!
