I haven’t spoke about my own training in a while. The reason being is much hasn’t changed. I’m still doing 3 weights sessions a week (push, pull, legs) and a HIIT session when I can get it in. I include the spinning classes I teach @fitnessworxcork as cardio in my training week. Calories are the same at 1,500 with all my macros broken down. I break down my macros so I know exactly what I’m taking in and this helps me understand what my body best functions with. I’ve been tracking everything since my first competition. I feel I’ve come a long way with training and nutrition since I started this journey a year and a half ago. Giving some love to my messy protein oatmeal this morning. 18 has been treating me pretty well so far but I’ve been super busy with my new schedule🤦🏼‍♀️ I start my day at 4:45, workout from 5-6 am and then I have from 6-7 to get ready for school and eat breakfast and then from 7:30-2:30 I’m at school and then from there I babysit till about 6:30/7 so as you can see my days are really busy and I’m trying to adjust! Shoulders are tricky! Most muscles in your body you want to develop size you just have to smash max weight/low reps. Shoulders are stubborn you have to do a mix of excersises involving smashing them with heavy weights as well as excersises that involved high reps with moderate weights. The Standing Military Press is my favourite to start my shoulder workout with as it covers all those bases. I start it of as my warm up as well :) Warm up - Just the bar x 20 reps 10kg x 12 reps 20kg x 8 reps Max Weight( video) 15kg x 6 reps
