#weeklyweighin * I'm going to start posting my weekly weigh-in for accountability. I'm not posting as often as I would like and I need to be posting regularly because it helps me to be accountable! So, I've decided that posting my weekly weigh-in will get me posting at least once per week, which is a starting point. It will also get me weighing-in weekly, even when I want to avoid the scale. * So, as you can see, I've gained. That's a 2 week gain, as I avoided the scale the week before. We we're on #vacation this week, so considering these factors I will take this small gain! I'm also up overall for Weight Watchers...but I've been higher recently, so I'll take that as well. * I write my #weeklygoals in my WW booklet before weighing-in each meeting and I used to share them here as well. So I'm going to get back into that habit as well. My goals this week are to meet my water goals and to track. Meditation and breath work are such a huge part of our programs. ⠀ Know why? ⠀ Because there is no better way to connect with your body and process your emotions. ⠀ And those are the two keys to ending your battle with food and body. ⠀ With disordered eating, the struggle is all about using food to numb out, and often being on "auto pilot" aka being soooo disconnected from your body. ⠀ Instead, check in with yourself on the regular. ⠀ A few times a day, drop into your body and take inventory of how you're feeling. ⠀ Try it right now. ⠀ Take a deep breath in through your nose, and out through your mouth. ⠀ And another. ⠀ And another. ⠀ Now I want you to just focus on your body. ⠀ How does it feel? Heavy? Light? Anxious? In pain? ⠀ Whatever you're feeling - viscerally - acknowledge it, and allow it to just be there without judging it. ⠀ Try this exercise, and comment below to let me know how it goes for you!

Cafe de club has been my #1 favorite spot for sausages for years now. Not trying to disrespect anyone's choices but sausages can't get better than what they serve here. . 🍔 We don't get to eat sausages that are cooked correctly that often. Most of the times, people rush and serve us bad sausages but here at cafe de club, they're always cooked to perfection. They're incredibly light and crunchy. And to top it off, they smear this paste of spices all over the sausages. I haven't seen anyone who does that. And that achar that I didn't take the picture of is really good. New #sushi joint at #yishun Town Square! Combining the conveyor-belt concept of Sushi Express and the made-to-order approach of Genki Sushi (complete with sushi cars that deliver your orders right to the table), One Sushi offers sushi that's affordable (think $1.50 per plate) and more elaborate creations like a unagi roll ($8.90) under one roof. Unfortunately, this also results in an identity crisis. While I can get 2 pieces of salmon sashimi nigiri for $1.50, I must fork out $5.90 for 5 pieces of salmon sashimi. The difference in prices is HUGE. Wait - there's already a solution: Nihon Mura Express, which offers both traditional sushi and fancier dishes at a flat price of $1.60 each. Needs a better pricing strategy. P.S. The salmon sashimi is too firm. Há comportamentos que podem até representar um padrão não habitual de alimentação, mas ainda assim não estão associados a qualquer sentimento negativo (nem sofrimento) e por não ser recorrente, não representa uma preocupação do ponto de vista médico. Episódios eventuais de “gula” (permissão de comer com prazer uma quantidade maior do que seria fisicamente necessário e por desejo algum alimento gostoso) é um exemplo. . . “Comer transtornado” é um conceito amplo que serve para definir uma relação negativa com os alimentos associada com sofrimento emocional, como sentimentos de culpa e arrependimento. Não é um diagnóstico médico formal e por isso mesmo é muito mais comum do que se imagina e inclui uma série de atitudes e comportamentos alimentares inadequados.
