For those of you who love creamy pasta, check out this lovely cafe. . Special menu: Matcha Carbonara (I don’t remember the full name sorry😅). Overall a great dish although it could use a little more matcha for the smell and flavours to stand out. . They also have very delish-looking desserts which we sadly didn’t get to try because our tummies reached full capacity after large portions of masago, carbonara and curry 😖.

Noodle Pull! 🍜 ---------------------------------------------------- Black Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen with Spinach Noodles is incredibly rich and flavourful. I chose the Spinach Noodles to change my things up but you can still opt for the regular noodles. I'd also like to highlight that they have a veggie ramen option . I'm impressed with this location and will be coming back!

SO GOOD we had to come back! 🌟 This time we tried their Curry Rosu Set and Cheese Katsu. Their panko breading was wonderfully crispy and their Japanese curry really hit the spot. The winner, however, goes to their CHEESE KATSU🧀. I might be a little biased here but is there anything in this world that a little melted cheese can’t top? 😂 . One of the best tonkatsu in town, hands down.

Sourdough Toast with Tomatoes & Goat Cheese + Steamed Squash . . 💁🏻 Steaming vegetables is a cooking method in which water vapor in steam cooks vegetables gently, without immersing the food in hot water. This allows them to maintain more of their nutrient content. You can steam vegetables on the stove top by suspending them in a vented basket over a small amount of boiling water or in a microwave, with a small amount of water added to the container. Steaming vegetables is a good choice compared to boiling them in water or frying them. It softens the vegetables and is unlikely to overcook them when timed carefully. It also avoids the use of fat, which is added when vegetables are fried.

Giada’s Goat Cheese, Lentil & Brown Rice Rolls . . 💁🏻 This may not be the prettiest photo, but these are my absolute fave! The nuttiness from the rice paired with creamy goat cheese, lentils, and mint make the perfect combination! Aside from having fewer calories than cow's cheese, goat cheese is richer in essential nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin B, calcium, iron, potassium, and riboflavin. It's also easier to digest for those who suffer from intestinal disorders such as IBS.

One of my favorite korean places in town💯. This place doesn’t only have the authentic bibimbap and bulgogi dishes, both savoury and slightly spicy, they also have a very flavorful pork-on-the-bone pot that I can never miss every time I visit. . Their soup is so rich from pork-on-the-bone🍖, inokitake, onion, potato and aromatic wild sesame seeds. Theirs meat literally fell off the bone with one chopstick poking. It doesn’t stop with just the soup, their brown rice is so soft and chewy, if I had this kinda brown rice at home I wouldn’t think of white rice again! Plus, they got them refillable and tasty complementary dishes. . This place is a truly hidden gem⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Christmas-Style Veggie Burrito . . 💁🏻 I had a craving for burritos but didn’t have any tortillas on hand. What I did have was chard leaves, so I used that instead! All the flavor with waaaayyyy less calories and waaayyy more fiber... Yasssss! 🙌🏼 Recent research has shown that these powerhouse leaves contain at least 13 different polyphenol antioxidants, including anthocyanins–anti-inflammatory compounds that could offer protection from type 2 diabetes. One study analyzed questionnaires and blood samples of about 2,000 people and found that those with the highest dietary intakes of anthocyanins had lower insulin resistance and better blood glucose regulation.
