Lately I’ve been getting a lot of questions about how this “chocolate salad” shake of mine compares to other shakes on the market! . . And to be honest, I don’t know much about what else is out there simply because I’ve found one that has all I need and has done way more for my body than I ever could’ve imagined! 🙌🏼 . . What I do know about this stuff is this: - it has NO artificial flavours, sugars, or colours (these things actually make your crave MORE sugar/junk when you eat them) - it has 70+ WHOLE foods in it - it fills in the gaps between the nutrients that we’re missing from the food we eat nowadays (even if all you eat is organic, whole foods)! - it’s a partial meal replacement with 16 grams of protein and the nutrients equal to 5 salads! . . . And because of these things I know these things: - it’s healed my gut and I can now eat some dairy again (hi I’m an ice cream lover 🙋🏼‍♀️🍦) - it’s kept me healthy and free of sickness even in my most stressful times during the school year!🤧 - it’s given my hubby the energy to work hard all day and come home at the end of it & still be a functioning human! 💃🏼 - it’s balanced my hormones out (=clearer skin, fewer mood swings, no more period cramps 🙌🏼) . . . I sometimes think about going back to the way things used to be and the way I used to feel before drinking/eating this stuff everyday.. and you guys I just can’t! 🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️ . . It used to feel like an extra cost every month but now looking back I’ve seen how much money it’s actually saved us and how it’s become an Investment and NOT an expense. Because y’all that’s what our health is! An investment! And a journey. . . Finally got around to recording one of my workouts for y’all!! My form is probably off for some things but i’m working on it! 👊🏻BACK WORKOUT👊🏻 ⭐️warm up! I went to driving range so that was my warm up plus 2 sets of deadlifts no weight ⭐️deadlift ~ 3 sets of 8 reps ⭐️pull ups ~ 3 sets of as many as you can do! I can do 2 as of rn, hopefully soon more ⭐️lat pull down ~ 2 sets of drop set (drop weight down 3 times) ⭐️wise grip row & close grip row ~ 3 sets of superset 8 reps for each grip ⭐️2 sets of 1 min plank ⭐️Ended with a 5 min walk & stretch!

For any of you ladies contemplating cutting out carbs from your diet to "help you lose weight"-- DON'T!! Your attempt to instant gratification is putting your body at risk. Seriously. Complex carbs(AKA sweet potatoes, brown rice, fruit) is literally our brains primary source of fuel🔥 and without it you're gonna feel moody and lethargic, and will experience deficits in your ability to concentrate and retain new information. The key🔑 is eating the *right kinds* and *quantities* of CARBS in order to balance your blood sugar while simultaneously feeding your brain.🤭 Plus eliminating or restricting complex carbs increases your chances that you'll have a hunger(hypoglycemic) episode. You might not think twice about grabbing that fast-food burger 🍔, so why would you think twice about fueling your body with whole natural super foods? 🤔 👉🏼When I first heard of this super food miracle in a shake, I was wicked skeptical. I thought there is NO way that sh** is THAT good for you. It was out of my realm of nutrition understanding. I just thought food was food. 👉🏼But I’ve learned that not all food is created equal and unfortunately it seems that the more readily available food isn’t always the best for you. It takes work to keep yourself healthy. It takes planning and preparation, but aren’t you worth it? I can’t think of anything more important. ☝🏼And I am grateful every day for my miracle super food shake that makes me feel awesome. 👉🏼Seriously, if you’re putting forth the effort to exercise, then don’t screw up your results with poor fuel!! ⁉️VEGAN AND HEALTHY ON A BUDGET⁉️ - i feel like this is one of the most frustrating misconceptions there is about veganism, that oh it must be so expensive, and oh i would go vegan but i can't afford it! WELL YOU CAN BOO! Literally some vegan food is literally some of the cheapest you can find (believe me b i'm a uni student living that budget lifestyle)🥗 - Obviously living a life of avocados and strawberries isn't going to be the cheapest ever, but that's not just what veganism is ok and it is so SO easy to live cheaply on - here are some of my top tips to eating vegan on a budget 🌱frozen fruit and veg; so much cheaper than buying fresh, and have EQUAL the amounts of nutrition! I tend to buy both fresh (for salads etc) and frozen to have once i've run out of fresh 🌱Buy Fruits/Veg in season: alongside your frozen supplies buy your fresh produce that is in season as these will be the cheapest - you can find our whats in season online 🌱tin, tins, and more tins: tins of chickpeas, beans, and chopped tomatoes are absolute staples in my cupboard and are literally 30-50p per one 🌱bulk buy of dried products such as lentils, quinoa, rice, black beans, these will last you so so long and make each serving so cheap - something else i want to briefly cover, is getting your protein in on a budget. ONCE AGAIN this is easy to do here are some of my favourite cheap protein sources and their protein/price/per serving: 🥝Chickpeas: 8.4g protein/ 15p 🥝Green Lentils: 7g protein/7p 🥝Black Beans: 8g protein/12p 🥝Frozen Soy Beans: 11.2g protein/26p 🥝Long Life Soy Milk: 7.25g protein/15p 🥝I also make my own seitan, which is much cheaper than buy meat alternatives in store, you can bulk buy ingredients on amazon! One bag of vital wheat gluten makes about 4 batches and each batch is about ten servings! So I GOT YOU - Ps i know i need some more tops about veganism cause im over using this one lmao apologies🍉

Banana coconut Vietnamese pudding. ▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ I love this recipe. Banana and coconut are my favourite fruits. What could be better than a dessert that combines the two of them. I have to confess that I have it many times for breakfast. ▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ Ingredients for 4 servings: ✅1 can coconut milk ✅3 plantain 1/2 cup water ✅5 tbsp tapioca pearls ✅1/2 cup raw peanuts ✅Stevia (any other sweetener) ▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫▫ Method: ✅Place the tapioca perks in a bowl with warm water. Let them soak for 15/20 minutes. ✅In a pan add the coconut milk and water and heat at low temperature to simmer. Stir until both are well mixed. ✅Cut the banana in thick slices and add it into the pan with the coconut milk. Cook for 5 minutes. ✅Add the tapioca pearls and cook for another 15 minutes. ✅Toast the peanuts in a pan with some salt. Crash the peanuts and sprinkle on top before serving. Serve warm. ◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾◾ Like for more recipes! ❤
