LUNCH AT WORK can be challenging. It is for me, anyway 😏. Part of Arranging Your World to meet your goals means planning ahead so you can set yourself up for success. . . Before my weight loss journey began, I was the last person I would plan for. I left the house in a frenzy every morning without planning any of my meals for the day. What happens when I’m not prepared? I’m more likely to make unconscious choices when meal times come around. If you have a serious sweet tooth, making strawberry chews is an awesome way to satisfy it without the calories and sugar! All you need to make the super easy snack is a couple of cups of strawberries. Instructions: - Preheat oven to 210 degrees F. - Wash & remove stems from berries. - Pat dry with towel. - Slice strawberries in half, vertically. - Line baking sheet with parchment paper and spread strawberries evenly. - Bake until chewy like candy. The strawberries can take over an hour to become chewy. Strawberries are high in antioxidants, vitamin C, fiber, manganese and potassium. And, save a couple of strawberry slices to apply on your skin before baking! I thought is time for a little throw back Monday, because sometimes I take my progress for granted and forget all the hard work, dedication and discipline that went into changing the way I looked and felt 1.5 years ago. I avoided weighting myself for a long time because I knew I’ve been adding pounds (jeans don’t lie lol) and didn’t want to face reality, and for a moment I believed the doctor who told me that is normal women put on weight when approaching 40s 🙄. I also think is important to mention that while adding those pounds I was having a lifestyle many consider normal and healthy and have always been careful with what I ate, so for me it was not a case of abusing my body for a long time, and I knew there must be something else that’s causing this weight gain. Never tried any other diet because I’ve had more or less a steady weight all my life and I was somehow against diets, but seeing the scale made me start searching for answers. That’s how I found @drstevengundry and his book, and since my idea of healthy food was always lectin heavy food, I thought the lectins might have something to do with my situation. Other than weight loss, the level of inflammation in my body decreased significantly, and I know that because I haven’t taken any medicine in 1.5 years (I used to think Advil was the best invention ever!!!). So when I forget where I started, I look at old pictures and not only I see how I looked, but I remember how I felt. A new study by researchers at several institutions in Germany investigates the role of kitchen sponges and their capability to collect and spread bacteria, even pathogens. ☠️☠️☠️ Study author Markus Egert of Furtwangen University says the group collected sponges donated from private households in the Villingen-Schwenningen region of Germany and analyzed the DNA and RNA of the microbes that made their homes in those common cleaning tools.☠️☠️☠️ “We detected 362 different bacterial species,” he told Popular Science in an e-mail. “Locally, the density of bacteria reached 54 billion per square centimeter of sponge tissue, which is similar to the microbial density of stool samples.” Basically, he says, one square centimeter of sponge tissue contains seven or eight times more bacteria than the number of human beings living on earth. Two square centimeters of sponge tissue contain as many bacteria as the number of human beings that ever have lived on earth so far. 🙊🙊🙊“Three trillion human beings put into Grand Canyon would create a similar concentration of ‘biomass’ as bacteria in a used kitchen sponge,” Egert says. *OUT THERE* I was reading the other day about how people's intentions can influence reality. See Princeton's Intention and Desire Experiment and pyschokinetic experiments such as the unclassified 2004 U.S. Air Force research project titled the Teleportation Physics Study, among others, for skim-the-surface scientific examples of this phenomenon in which intention & desire literally construct reality. You can manifest reality by putting what you want *out there.* 🤓I can also feel when someone's trying to get up in my psychological or energetic business. For example, I know for a fact that people at my old Christian church & my Christian family are praying for me without my consent, for all kinds of things that I don't want, like that I'll come back to the Church & that I'll move to New York, no matter what kind of road I have to take to get back. These wishes, intentions, & prayers have impact in quantum reality, in the quantum field. This post's image text is the little mantra I recently wrote for myself to put my own defensive shield out there into the quantum field in response, to protect myself from other people's specific intentions for me, whether they mean well or not. I only want to manifest what's for my highest good, not what my ex-church or family thinks is. If I haven't given you my consent to pray for me or shoot intentions out into the universe for me on my behalf, then don't do it. It's a form of manipulation. It's an ethics issue. Stay out of my quantum space, & away from my quantum reality. If I want you there, I'll ask. Maybe this seems harsh, but so is the intention to manipulate someone else's reality without their consent. If you can relate to any part of this, consider putting your own defensive shields up with intention, because what we intend, we create, & if we're not intending anything, someone else might just be doing it for us.🤘🏼

There was a time when decreasing saturated fat, and dietary cholesterol were considered the most critical nutritional changes you could make to save your heart. However, researchers now tell us that cholesterol is essential to our overall health. Cholesterol supports our cell membranes, is necessary for the production of bile acids which help with fat digestion and absorption of fat-soluble nutrients, and it supports the development of synapses in the brain, essential for learning and memory. We now know that the good fat in your food is not the same fat on your hips – it will not make you fat. Nor will it clog your arteries, and for that matter, it won’t raise your cholesterol either. Lately, this soup has been saving my life! It seems everyone around me is getting sick and I taught the last 2 weekends to classes half their usual size bc folks were sick! And I’ve been fighting things off the past 2 weekends myself and both times this soup has absolutely blown my cold out of the water. Like magic. I make a big pot of it in the evening, have lots- like 2 or 3 bowls- and the next morning my cold’s gone. The main ingredients are Maitake mushroom (hen of the woods), Burdock rt and Daikon radish. Plus some Garlic, Onion, Ginger, and Kombu added for good measure.
