A summertime salad bowl is what we’ve been living off of recently. Smashed leg session this morning! Here's my main workout 💪5x8 smith machine squats 💪3x8 each leg smith machine reverse lunges 💪a.)3x12 cable squats supersetted with: 💪b.)3x8 leg extensions 💪4x8-12 leg press 💪3x12 each leg cable adductions I also walked 20 mins to the gym and back for a warm up/cool down and did 5-10 mins of glute activation before I started! After a couple days of exploring the wilderness, the skeeters got me good 😌 Upon conversation with my oil ladies and my own research, plus a little experimenting - these three oils are what have been saving me 🙌 . • Lavender for an anti-inflammatory and also it's well know soothing abilities. • Peppermint for it's cooling properties which temporarily overload nerves and stop discomfort and itching. • Basil to alleviate the itch and help with skin tension around the bite. You could also use, • Rosemary • Chamomile • Melaleuca (Tea Tree) • Eucalyptus • Thyme Whenever using oils, always do your own research, ask people who use them, and simply try a few things out and see what ultimately will work best for you. And ALWAYS use the good stuff - Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oils (CPTG). When an oil isn't pure you aren't getting the full effects of the plant, which means that you will have to use a lot of it to get much relief, if any. This can add up to be a waste of both your time and money, not to mention who knows what synthetic filler you're applying to your skin. For almost 6 years I have been living in my home and every summer I walk by the wild rose bush around this time every year and admire the rose hips wondering, surely I can do something with these.
