here's a little food for thought. 🥚🍳🎂🍰🍫🍩 many of my clients have allergies, so I get it if they can't eat eggs or animal proteins because they don't have the digestive enzymes for it . but for those trying to lose weight who have good gut health it's rather upsetting when I see people do everything in their power to AVOID the great whole food sources of protein. They'd rather opt out for the sweet treats style of protein instead. . Last nights dinner was so yummy, and super easy to make. We had chicken wings, Italian pasta salad, and a Greek and feta green salad. I made the chicken wing sauces from scratch and whipped them up in less than 20 minutes. Added of course butter and garlic powder to the buffalo sauce, and then I made a homemade garlic brown sugar soy sauce for the kids wings... and the adults ended up loving this simple oriental sauce! Make sure to cook it down for at least 15 minutes to turn it into a yummy glaze though. Ставьте ❤️за старания автора ⠀ Сложность⭐️⭐️ ⏰ 40-50 минут ⠀ #veg_обед #veg_ужин ⠀ ✅Ингредиенты: ▪️1,5 кг тыквы или сквоша( грушеобразный тыква) разрезанные на квадратики 2*2 см ▪️4 ст.л. оливковое масло extra virgin ▪️Соль и перец по вкусу ▪️2 ст.л. лимонного сока ▪️2 ст.л. меда или сиропа агавы ▪️1 маленький красный лук мелко порубленный ▪️Пучок мелко порубленной петрушки ⠀ ▪️3 ст.л. семена тыквы ▪️3 ст.л. граната ▪️Щепотка сухого тимьяна, кунжутных семечек и орегано 👩🏻‍🍳Как готовить: ▶️Включите духовку на 230С. Смешайте кубики тыквы с 1ст.л. оливкового масла и солью с перцем. И разложите аккуратно в один слой на противень. Запекайте 30-35 мин до слегка поджаристого цвета. ⠀ Вытащить и остудить ⠀ ▶️Для соуса смешайте все ингредиенты: лимонный сок, сироп агавы, лук, немного соли. Затем добавьте оставшиеся 3 ст.л. оливкового масла. Me when someone uses canola oil to cook with. 😲 Excuse me, WHAT did you just put in that pan? . If you can do ONE thing to improve your health people, it is changing the fats and oils you use to cook with. . It comes down to chemistry and chemical structure. . Unsaturated fats (MUFAs/PUFAs) are easily damaged by heat. (Science - the points of 'unsaturation' aka double bonds, react with heat to produce free radicals - BAD). Ex: Olive oil, canola/rapeseed oil, walnut oil. flaxseed oil, other vegetable oils. . Saturated fats are more stable and hence much SAFER for cooking at higher temperatures. . Ex: Virgin Coconut oil, ghee/clarified butter, grass-fed butter, avocado oil (aka fats are usually solid at room temp) . This doesn't mean MUFAs/PUFAs are bad! Just save them for low heat cooking (low & slow) or raw as salad dressings. **Fun fact these fats/oils are a blend, even coconut oil is 10% unsaturated fat.** What fats do you use to cook with? I’m not sure what’s in other protein shakes, but I’d choose these vegan superfoods over those GNC brands ANYDAY. #healtiestmealoftheday

This introductory healthy, vegan lunch sealed the deal for my new client.
