------------- #trainingsystem #entrenadorpersonal #personaltrainer #trainer #nutricion #fuerteventura #forcevectortraining #forcevector #vectordefuerza #reminumo #reminumotrainingsystem

Working on increasing the engagement of the lateral lines during this movement. Training the frontal plane is essential to becoming more athletic and a greater mover. Added the switch step to create more ground force before the jump. Thanks to @evolved_performance and @christinie_beanie for the inspiration 💪🏻 #fitandfunctionalsac #functionalpatterns #footballtraining #rugbytraining #frontalplane #athletics #strengthandconditioning #speed #forcevector #soccertraining #legday #kickboxing #mmatraining #wrestling #sacramento #sacramentofitness #functionaltraining

Force Vector of the day: Step row w/ kettle bell swing. Great one to connect the glutes and lats together functionally. Connect these and you’ll get better strength and power out of your body. #functionalpatterns #fitandfunctionalsac #leveragestrength #forcevector #lats #glutes #coreworkout #wrestling #boxing #mma #strengthtraining #strengthandconditioning #sportsspecific #sacramento #sacramentogym #sacramentofitness

Force Vector of the day: @functionalpatterns lunge to step press. The goal is to keep the body structurally integrated and ground force throughout the movement. This is a great way to develop explosive power off the ground. FORCE VECTOR! 💪 No, I’m not making stuff up, it’s a real thing. Aaannnnd, this real thing is REALLY IMPORTANT! Why? Because your muscles don’t work in isolation. Even our best attempts to concentrate all our energy on one muscle requires stabilizing forces by other muscles above, below or alongside that same joint. Changes in that stabilization and changes in the angle of load push your body to recruit more fibers within a given muscle, and challenge it to achieve a more complete overall development. Force vectors basically pertain to the angle or direction under which your body incurs a load (resistive force). When it comes to your glutes there are 3 primary force vectors: horizontal, vertical, lateral/rotary (with additional combinations thereof serving as sub-vectors). Failure to train any of the three not only hinders your gluteal potential (🍑👌), but actually places you at risk for injury when performing dynamic movements at your hip. So. . .how do you make sure you continue adding fertilizer to your peach 🍑 tree 🌳, and stave off potential hip injuries 🤕? 1. Make sure you hit all 3 vectors when training. 2. Double down by combining vectors when training. 3. Take ROOTED and/or LIFT at @workirvine each week, because we always hit all three 🤯 #danesdailytip 🤓

Beware the line of force! Lat Pulldown is often done wrong. Look at the line of force. Lean away and focus on pulling with the cable in a straight line for optimal muscle recruitment. There a many different ways to train your lat, and you should. Because the lat is so big and has so many attachements you have to stress the muscle in many different angles and loads. #releasefitness #strengthcoach #angewandteanatomie #patrickmeinart #releasefitnessacademy #resistancetraining #latissimusdorsi #latpulldown #lineofforce #forcevector #strengthtraining

Force is vector specific. This basically means that if you practice applying force in a specific direction, you will get better at applying force in that direction! Eg as per the study, front squatting has a grater carryover to vertical leap, as both involve applying force in the same direction (vertical). Whereas, hip thrusts have a more significant impact on running speed, as they involve horizontal force production. . What does this mean for athletes? Pretty simple, if you want to get better at jumping use exercises that require you to apply force in the same direction as when you jump, straight down! If you want to get better at sprinting, include exercises that require you to apply force horizontally, eg hip thrusts or prowler marches/sprints! . Novices are the exception, if you’ve never strength trained properly you can pretty much do anything and as long as your muscles get stronger, you will get better at jumping/running. Advanced athletes need to be more specific with their training, but initially just improve your general strength, then further down the track you can get more specific, moving closer to exercises that mimic the actions of the sport! . Adaptation is task specific! SAID principle - specific adaptations to imposed demands! What you practice is what you get better at! . DM any questions! . #athletes #strengthandconditioning #coaching #training #forcevector #strength #lifting #jumping #sprinting #strong #strengthcoach #strongwomen #strengthandconditioningcoach #athlete #runfaster #jumphigher #canberra #canberralife #canberralocals #canberragym #realfitt #realfittgym

#repost @michael_boyle1959 with @get_repost ____________ If you know us, you know we shout THIS from the rooftops, every chance we get! So, when a highly respected leader in the S&C (Performance training) field touts it, it’s definitely worth a repost! ____________ Our position is, how can you take a sport (Power and/or Olympic lifting) that takes place in a 3’X3’ area, in 1 plane of movement (sagittal) & expect substantial transfer to multi-planar sports, that take place in areas like football, baseball, soccer, etc, fields!? ____________ Do some PL or Oly movements in training? Absolutely, but if your entire physical prep program consists of only those type of movements, then those are the type of athletes you are developing! ____________ Athletes that can only display their strength/power in the positions & planes, in which they train! (See our recent post on Offensive linemen) _____________ If you want Athletes that operate “in space” and can display athletic strength/power during movement (and who doesn’t), then they need to stop spending so much time, lying on a bench and standing on a platform! #trainsmarter and #trainlikeanathlete ____________ Coach Boyle is on everyday answering questions. #pensacola #performance #athleticperformance #nextleveltraining #performancecoach #forcevector

Follow @robotzentraining There’s nearly always a way to train around an injury. Get creative. A client of mine recently sprained a muscle in her hand during a fall. Unable to sufficiently grip pain-free, Theresa is still able to do a double-Banded medicine-ball-loaded zercher romanian deadlift. This hits the glutes from three force vectors, the hamstrings, the upper back, and biceps. Let me know if you come up with a better name! She also did dead bugs, eyes-closed Bulgarian split squats, medicine-ball zercher Bulgarian split squats, Banded hip thrusts, band pull aparts, and stability ball body saws. All essentially without needing to grip.
