Feeling really bloated today, i think it may of been the mcd's but it could be something else. I done my usual work out today (i had a rest day yesterday) so my post workout meal was a smoothie made from spinach (lots of it), frozen mango and pineapple peices, half a frozen banana, tbsp spirulina powder, tbsp hemp seeds and water. I don't usually eat at this time of day cause I'm always fasting but the fiancee went to McDonald's and got us all breakfast. It's a major learning curve for me but he still forgets certain things i can't eat like the bagel itself! But instead of letting it go to waste i deconstructed it and used a gf bagel (toasted) with vitalite then put the bacon and egg on, ketchup and violife cheese. This wouldn't work if you have a severe allergy but his heart was in the right place and i couldn't just throw it away. 🖤 i will continue to fast after this and then go back to normal tomorrow 🙂 I'm sure you could just get the bacon, egg or sausage with hashbrowns and make yourself a bagel at home if you wanted too. Pre-vegan. I was stress eating dairy products and was unhappy with the extra weight...I also had cysts in my breasts that I was told were “normal” but disappeared completely when I eliminated dairy from my diet. There’s no such thing as “hormone free dairy”. Dairy is a hormonal fluid meant for baby cows. My cholesterol was also high. These days I feel so much lighter, have more energy and am so grateful for the knowledge I’ve gained along the way. Let’s keep learning. ✨ Count nutrients, not macros.

Made gf vegan blueberry crumble for pudding with alpro custard. Lined the bottom for the baking dish with frozen blueberries and sprinkled half a tbsp of sugar on them and mixed it through. Made the crumble using gluten free oats, 1 and half tbsp of sugar, cinnamon and melted vitalite. Baked in the oven for 15 mins then covered with foil and baked for 10 more mins. So quick and super delicious. Much healthier than store bought ones. Sooo i been doing a shed load of research on this whole gluten free vegan gig! While I'm not 100% sure i have enough gluten free vegan recipes up my sleeves to do it every day i am sure i have enough to do gluten free and vegan days which I'm excited for. When i don't eat vegan i always miss it and i do think about the impact i have on not only the animals on the planet so yeah i do want to do my bit without the tag of being a VEGAN. Don't get me wrong when i say that as a lot of vegans are really nice and understanding when it comes to other peoples choices but there are a few that like to cause negativity and at one point that is all i was seeing! Choosing not to be vegan was something i did for myself as I've said before being vegan is easy, it's like second nature to me but throw in the fact it has to be gluten free too, i was completely stumped. So i spent about £25 in aldi and tesco today on plantbased foods only, with a treat of vegan magnums (only cause they were on offer) and some gf bread so i hope to add a lot more plantbased foods to my diet and slowly transition maybe! It all depends on how affordable it is as i am on a strict budget. Getting to the picture. Today for lunch i had roasted cauliflower (seasoned with a tbsp of olive oil, salt and pepper), no oil baked chips (seasoned with salt, pepper, mixed herbs and smoked paprika), tescos veggie burger, little salad of lettuce, cherry tomatoes and cucumber, some plain rice and a bit of salsa for flavour. It was delicious, low calorie but very filling. I might have an apple as a snack later. 😁 I found a cool recipe for a chickpea pot pie that actually had a simple enough pie crust. What arguments exist for a Christian to become vegan? MASSIVE question. For one, obviously not all Christians are alike. Beliefs are diverse within the spectrum of those who identify as Christian. But also, there's so many different ways you could approach this question, because there's so many different arguments that you could use! Plus, one individual varies enormously to another individual as to what they might consider a strong argument. So depending on the person you're speaking with, some arguments are going to be a more appropriate pick than others. And just to say, I do note that the person asking the question says 'should be vegan' but tbh I tend to steer away from 'shoulds' as much as I can. Because 1) no one has an absolute perfect interpretation of God's will on most matters (!) and 2) guilting / forcing people into something doesn't exactly sit right. But what we can do is to consider what Christian arguments for veganism do exist, and with those, enter into discussions. If nothing else the question and comment thread made me think I should start to put some posts together on this topic!
