Peripheral Heart Action Landmine Workout.

A common problem I see beginners doing when training back. SWIPE FOR VIDEO! - I will see Beginners and even advanced lifters not engaging there backs when do Rows, or lat pulldowns. They’ll tend to load up the stack pretty heavy then end up just doing the whole movement with the biceps as the main mover. They will lean way to far back putting tension on the lower back (but the Row is a Predominantly a mid back exercise). Or they just simply don’t get a good stretch at BOTH the top and bottom of the exercise (meaning they are keeping scapular retracted the whole time). - Scapular retraction is a key for row movements. Scapular retraction is basically when your squeezing your shoulder blades back and brining them together or (putting your shoulder blades into your back pocket). - So when rowing you want to sit Straight up, drive your elbows back like you are trying to put them into your pockets and pull the cable all the way to the chest/abdomen. On the decent of the exercise you want to get a little ‘pre stretch’ on the back by allowing the weight to pull your back forward, essentially opening up your whole back. (You can also think as if you are trying to elbow someone behind you). - So if your finding your not really feeling your Rows or are feeling them in the wrong place , try these little tips and I’m more then positive that you’ll feel them proper. It could be as simple as dropping the weight and stop trying to ego lift, no one cares how much you can lift with shitty form and with the improper muscles. almost didn't post this- mostly because I'm not 100% happy with where my body is at the moment. two or three months ago I added in cardio at a stressful time in my life, when I wasn't eating as much and lost 10 lbs. it's silly because anyone who knows me knows I love being jacked and juicy and the fact that I've learned out actually bothers me. never thought I'd feel like this but hey life is strange 😂 anyways, working on gaining mass back and I'm stronger than ever, just a little leaner 🤦
