Another gym session is gone! Today it was leg/shoulders day. Due to some lower back pain I have mentioned in my previous posts, today I have approached leg workout differently. I have slightly reduced the weights and I have increased the number of reps and decreased the resting time. I can tell that by the end of the leg session, my legs were screaming! It is important to stress the muscles with a different training technique at times. Today was back and biceps, which I always underestimate how much I’m going to enjoy that workout. Tried out reverse grip bent over rows tonight with 40#, just to get a feel for it. I noticed one side is a little stronger than the other so that’s something I’m going to have to pay more attention to in the future. All in all, I had a great workout and can’t wait to see some more progress from this time spent in the gym. 💪 -song is “Black Beatles” by @olnband. Would you believe me if I said i was chopping fresh ingredients to make homemade pizza? . Yeah, me neither. But cleaning up the meals you already love and enjoy - like burgers - can make them still enjoyable while you work towards your health and fitness goals. . Here’s the recipe for the best damn turkey burgers: . 🦃 3lbs ground turkey 1 zucchini grated 1/4 c homemade breadcrumbs (1/4 c oats, no salt seasoning, pepper, & pinch of salt - blend until fine) 1/2 onion chopped 4 Tbsp egg whites 1/4 c parsley chopped 2 gloves garlic Salt & pepper . 🥣 Mix ground turkey, zucchini, seasoned crumbs, onion, egg whites, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Form into 12 patties. . 🔥 Heat a skillet over medium heat; arrange patties in skillet and cook until no longer pink in the center and juices run clear, about 4 minutes per side. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). . If your macro goals allow it, you can throw these puppies on a bun, beside some rice, or along side a salad. Saturday’s Pregame! It’s been a while.

Here’s my #booty focused #legworkout from yesterday! Life is busy right now but it’s never too busy to prioritize my health and fitness. 🙏It’s funny, people make fun of me ( maybe joking maybe not 🤷🏼‍♀️) for “always being at the gym” or “always working out” and in reality, I’m only there 5 days a week for just over an hour. Having 5 kids with busy schedules, soccer, work schedules.. I get it. Life gets CRAZY BUSY. But this is something I do FOR ME. It has become my mental escape/ sanity. It gives me the strength, endurance and stamina to BE the mama of these 5 wild 😜 kiddos! I know I NEED this time at the gym, away from my kids, people, and just me- with my goals, determination, barbells and my thoughts. 💪🏼 Happy Saturday friends !! 😘 . WORKOUT DETS: . ⭐️complete 4 rounds of each SUPERSET: ⭐️ 10 banded front squats ⭐️10 good mornings . ⭐️10 side single leg press- each leg ⭐️10 each side cable abduction . ⭐️10 each leg glute kickbacks ⭐️ 10 banded pulse cable squats . my booty was on 🔥 after this 🙌🏻 remember, you can always make things harder/ less intense by adding / taking away weight, bands or by adding sets or reps! Cater it to YOUR LEVEL and HAVE FUN!!!!!😜

Un des premiers éléments qui agira sur énormément de facteurs est ton sommeil 😴. Oui, trop souvent négligé et sous estimé, le sommeil est sans doute encore plus néfaste que le stress chronique alors c’est pour te dire ... ! . ☑️ Je ne peux que te conseiller de veiller à dormir suffisamment chaque nuit (en général, 8h de sommeil de qualité pourraient être suffisants) et ta progression sur le long terme en sera nettement améliorée.

Want a quick biceps workout that will surely give you a great pump?! 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻Try this out! Do these exercises consecutively and using a hammer curl grip, then move on to a lighter weight without resting. I did 25lbs dumbbells first, then moved to 20lbs, then to 10lbs. Rested for about 1-2 mins then did the circuit again of 25, 20 then 15lbs after. Do the heavy then light circuit a total of 4-5 times, and feel the gains!
