Yesterday I got the chance to meet one of my biggest inspirations, the man who founded @gymshark . Gymshark and the athletes who are sponsored by them are one of the main reasons for my fitness journey, they inspired me to become better than I was. Gymshark athletes are not only physically fit, but also smart, driven people who pursue degrees and careers as well as fitness. That’s something I never thought would be possible for me. I’ve never been the gym rat kind of girl, but now I absolutely love the gym, I love the feeling of lifting weights, i love seeing myself improve and feeling stronger every day and Gymshark has been a huge part of that journey 💕 . This was a small event, but I was able to meet some of my favorite athletes and interact with other Gymshark lovers and I truly felt like I was a part of something. Gymshark creates not only amazing fitness wear, but has helped me better myself and has helped me meet people and make friends who have changed my life ❤️ . So thank you @benfrancis and @gymshark for all you’ve done 💪🏼

☀️ SUNDAY FUN-DAY ☀️. ~ GLUTE and HAMSTRING workout ~ Hey Angels!! 🌞 It felt amazing getting this workout in so early in the morning to wrap up this week strong! Morning workouts are the besttttttttt 👍🏽 I’ll be honest, I woke up pretty reluctant to train today and felt like 💩 (minus the smile 😂). My motivation usually slips by the end of the week, but I convinced myself to go to the gym today even if I ended up doing banded glute pumpers for a couple of minutes and then walked out. In reality though once I walked into the gym I felt like a million bucks 🌟💎 and smashed out this 🔥 workout. There’s something about deadlifts that make me feel strong af 😎 _____________________________________________ Enough rambling, here’s the workout I did today y’all! Please let me know what you are training today!! How did the week’s training treat you? I wanna know 👇🏽😊. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ FULL WORKOUT:. 🧘🏽‍♀️ Warm up 🧘🏽‍♀️ - Banded activation: - Sidewalks - Duck walks - Peeing dogs - Donkey kicks - Superset: 2x glute bridges (1 min) + frog pumps (30 sec) 🏋🏽‍♀️ Workout 🏋🏽‍♀️ - 1️⃣Sumo deadlifts (form focused) - I worked up to 3x5 165 (shown); 📌start with the bar, or 75lb total, as a warm up set and work up to heavier weight (i.e. 1x12-15 75, 2x10 95, 2x8 125, 2x8 145, 4x6-8 165) #throwback to when I could deadlift 195lb ✌🏽we’ll get there ladies!! 💪🏽.. 2️⃣Hip thrusts (banded) - 2x10 165lb and 4x8 185lb (shown) 📌if starting with hip thrusts instead of deadlifts, do similar staking of sets (the “i.e.” part of the deadlift info) 3️⃣DB pulsing RDLs (Romanian deadlifts) 3x8 30lb in each hand 📌pretend there is a long rope wrapped around your lower waist pulling your hips back towards the wall. Bend down and lift with glutes and hammies until to DBs are at shin height. Pulse back down again and come up. Squeeze the booty!! 🍑 4️⃣Goblet squats 3x8 30lb 5️⃣Curtsy lunges 3x8 per leg w/ 15lb each 📌start with bodyweight if a beginner; I’ve been working up to holding weight for a few weeks now. 6️⃣Hip abduction machine 4x10 100lb - GO HEAVY! 💪🏽 And FEEL the muscle (mind-to-muscle connection is key 🔑)

abs & cardio // mile warmup, 15 min of HIIT, grace’s #3 abs, walking on an incline for a mile // forgot to take a pic at the gym so here is a pic of a song that got me through todays workout which was on repeat and pushing me to keep going ham...decided to switch up my usual abs and cardio routine and i like it a lot better...i def need to start doing this combo/mixing it up more...also super pumped to start a new section of grace’s guide and start using the sauna again tomorrow! // #gfg #gracefitguide #gracefitchallenge #getshreddyforsummer

Earlier in the day I tried to cancel the 6pm practice I went to tonight but had missed the deadline for cancellation so dragged myself to class despite really not feeling it. It turned out to be exactly what I needed after feeling slightly stressed for no reason all day, I left the studio feeling so relaxed and in a completely different frame of mind than when I went in! I haven’t been to the gym in 5 days and I’ve eaten whatever I want and I do not feel my best for it🙈 I also haven’t brushed my hair today but that’s nothing new🤷🏻‍♀️ I’d love to say I’m 100% dedicated to being fit and healthy but some days I’m tired and have no motivation or I just feel like living my life and eating all of the food🍕🍔🍟 I’ve enjoyed an unplanned break but it’s not quite what I had planned leading up to my trip to Japan after my post last week😂 I am definitely motivated to get back in the gym tomorrow now though🏋🏻‍♀️
