Feeling F A B this week ☀️ It's a four day week, gym has been going well, it's strength week and I surprised myself with what I was lifting! • HOWEVER - Life's not full of rainbows and butterflies 🦋 It's raining all week in Sydney which makes getting up in the morning hard! My veggie diet is giving me the bloats big time especially when I'm sitting down all day at a desk. I've chipped my nail, missed my bus and really want to see my friends and family from back home 😭 BUT THAT'S OKAY. It's normal! Smashing life 24/7 isn't real. So don't feel bad if you feel like your life isn't as fantastically glittery as someone elses.... 😘 just enjoy the small moments 💛

this is extremely difficult for me to post and i’m feeling completely vulnerable...BUT the reason for this post because yes i’ve gained some lbs back (it happens) and i came across the opportunity to join @taychayy 1st phorm transphormation 8 week challenge!!! it’s completely free and the dieting is really flexible (they give you a list of foods you can choose from) and they give you daily exercises to complete at the gym. the challenge doesn’t start until oct 29th, but i took a head start and began my today and let me tell you, I AM HUNGRY!!! but i’m hoping to get more lean and drop the few lbs i’ve gained.. if anyone is interested in doing this challenge with me, let me know so we can motivate each other and share our goals and milestones these next 8 weeks 🤩 current weight: 152.6 *(will be posting weekly updates)

The secret to staying lean?? Be #vegan! Lol. I'm joking. I'm not gunna be that girl.... 🌿 u do u boo • HOWEVER I have dropped alot of weight (fat%) since going veggie and now vegan! I don't recommended going veggie for those reasons but it was definitely an added bonus to my diet and mind change, something I was totally not expecting either!! • I guess it helps that a vegan diet avoids unnecessary animal fat, oil and by products that significantly increase my cal intake. (Having said that there are some out-of-this-world vegan burgers that are definitely NOT lowcal - but a delish weekend treat!!) • Food for thought 🧡 P.s. I am getting stronger and gaining muscle so f u to those who think you cant be veganieieie and train 😘

Here’s how to progress towards a full, unassisted pull up! ———————————————————————— Video 1; ASSISTED PULL UPS; These are great as you have weight aiding you when you pull back up. TIP; the lighter you go in weight, the harder it is as there will be less weight helping you get you back up. It’s one of the only excercises where decreasing weight on the machine will increase intensity for you & actually be harder!! • • Video 2; RB PULL UPS! Here you can put your knee or foot in the band. I like these as I find they feel more realistic to a normal pull up than using a machine! • • Video 3; Negatives; place a box or step under the pull up bar, jump up and lower yourself down slowly. A not so positive hump day 🍑🐫 post... . Yesterday I experienced my first bit of bitchiness in the gym 😞. . I was wearing my gymshark outfit in this picture, minding my own business doing my workout. There was a group of girls in the same part of the gym as me who kept walking by and shooting me dirty looks. I ignored it thinking I was probably just being paranoid. I finished my main part of the workout so went to leave as they were leaving the same part of the gym as me and as I got closer to them I over heard them bitching about me. Taking the piss out of the fact I had a matching set on and calling me a gymshark wanker, and just generally being bitches. They then turned around and looked very sheepish not having realised how close to them I was. I wish I had said something but I didn’t I just walked away. . I didn’t know these girls, I never once spoke to them and I wasn’t even in their space yet they felt the need to put me down and find something to say when they know nothing about me or my journey. A year ago this experience would have really got to me and would have made me feel uncomfortable to go to the gym in clothes I wanted to again. Thankfully I’m in a much better mindset now and I actually just feel sad for them. Sad that they feel the need to drag other women down to make themselves feel better in some way. . HOW DO YOU FIND TIME? 🤷‍♀️⌚ In all honestly if you want it that bad you will find time. The body, strength or lifestyle you want won't come to you if you don't work for it. Here are my top tips to help you organise your time. 1.) Go before work or straight after: never go home and rest before. Get it done before work and get up a little earlier or go straight after work. You'll still have your evenings and you won't get in and get settled and then end up not doing anything. 2.) Adapt your workouts: if you know you're working late or running out of time. Adapt adapt adapt. Use supersets/trisets to save time. Do a kettlebell workout or a circuit. A short intense workout is better than nothing. 3.) Don't make excuses: this is so easy to do. Oh I'm tired, oh I need a lie in etc etc. We all do it but if you did it everytime you had a bad day, we're tired or just felt mer results would never happen. Suck it up and you always feel 100% better after. I don’t really believe in commenting on another persons shape or size but if you really strongly feel the desire to, try using phrases like ‘you look really healthy’ or ‘you look happy’ instead of ‘have you lost weight!?’ or ‘you look tiny!’ I’ve had comments on how ‘skinny’ and ‘small’ I am in the past which were fully intended to be compliments (or so I’m guessing..), but actually they made me feel so much worse 😖 You never know what place someone is in with their self image and body confidence so if in doubt, just don’t comment on their size 🤷🏼‍♀️ #skinnyshaming #bodyconfidence

⚠️ side effects of this workout include ⚠️: - disturbed sleep due to muscles being sore to the actual touch - increased timescales for basic acts such as putting on shoes & getting into your car - weird looks from people due to hobbling about like you’ve 💩 yourself . jokes aside despite the fact that I’m currently facing all of the above, this workout was sick, thanks @prolete for the inspo - obviously did not squat 140kg, this was from his story, adjust weights accordingly 😂 . I replaced hack squat & leg press with bulgarian split squats & walking lunges, bc I’m too short for the hack squat machine 🤭

😅😭💀 lolssssss I died...yup I’m so unfit! I had to film it after I actually did it myself cos I did want to put up something I couldn’t actually do 🤷🏿‍♂️ I know I’m so nice👼🏿Anywho this is my 3rd workout of the month 🙃 buttttttttttt ive set myself a goal to workout at least 5 times a week from now on! Plus I sweated out my headache so I guess it’s not all bad plus I kinda feel GOOD like really good which. I haven’t felt from a workout in a while...it’s super sweaty, NO EQUIPMENT all you need is some form of elevated surface (stair, low bench, etc) and can be modified for low impact! And can be done under 30 mins. The workout in case ya’ll wanna save and try something in the week or today 🌸 🧘🏿‍♂️Workout🧘🏿‍♂️ 🧚🏿‍♀️Elevated squat with knee raise —>15 secs rest —> elevated side lunge with toe touches as 40 secs each side x3 🧚🏿‍♀️Squat walks—>15 secs rest —> ski jumps as 40 secs x 4 🧚🏿‍♀️Elevated knee to chest leg crunches (40 secs each leg)—> 15 secs rest —>stair runs as 40 secs x3 🤸🏿‍♀️Finisher: 20 secs squat jumps —> 10 secs rest —> 20 seconds mountain climbers X5 Enjoy 🌸 let me know if you do end up giving it a go 🌼 Also I did my own warm up and cool down which isn’t included. @fitfortheculture @afrogirlfitness @ebonymuscle
