This is what year round discipline gives anyone who commits their body to a healthier lifestyle, Alisa is a mum still raising a family and she always finds the time to get her training in. 2019 is a new year that’s only just started so why not make the change yourself and become the person you are most likely trolling on Instagram and get yourself in shape like alisa has instead of thinking that could never be me 🤷🏻‍♂️ I know alisa used to think the same and had no intentions of building a body to walk out on a competitive stage with but she made the choice to give it a go one day and has never looked back since, I know her 2 boys are being brought up the same way. Did you know some dieters (keto) won't touch this meal because of the carbs included?! While keto has some great health benefits, as far as weight loss goes, it is not superior to a high carb/low fat diet. In fact, carb and fat macro targets have zero influence on weight loss. It is total calories in VS total calories out that have ultimate influence. Eat more cals than u burn, whether they come from fat or carbs and u will put on weight and vice versa. Last week of this training block, trying to PR everything success 👏🏻, squatted 225 for multiple sets today which I haven’t done in quite some time, that was my last set and quite the struggle 💁🏼‍♀️. So far I’m with this program, I’m gaining strength and size 🙏🏼💪🏼 haven’t pushed myself like this in yearsssssss!!! Feels good.

2011 ⏭ 2019. PLEASE don’t try to blame your body on genetics. You are in total control of your life and your decisions. . . 2011: senior in high school. Ate fast food 5-6x week. Drank on the weekends. Minimal exercise (running in 8th period for track). Didn’t know a thing about diet. I weighed I think around 115-120lbs. . . 2019: hardly eat fast food (because it’s kinda gross tbh). Date night 1x week. I drink a glass of wine maybe 2-3x week. Exercise 6x week for about an hour. And I eat what I enjoy. I’m 135lbs right now. . . I’m literally so happy with my life. High school was awful. Boys were mean and I was always basing my worth in them. LOL @ me. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m glad I found my worth and turned my life around. Took me awhile, but I figured it out! . . So if you’re just starting out, keep pushing and keep working. It gets easier. Results take time. I can’t stress this enough. You will not “build a booty” in 4-6 weeks. Sure, you’ll see some growth but you won’t be the Instagram model you’re comparing yourself too. So keep at it and don’t give up. . . And also DONT base your journey on the scale. As you can see I’m about 15-20lbs heavier now. So there’s that 🙍🏻‍♀️ . .

I remember the first time I tried a proper pushup. I was still over 130kg and it was on my first bootcamp. I couldn't do it, I fell flat and the floor sucker punched me in the face and I got a bleeding nose. We all start somewhere so dont be discouraged if you cant do today what you will be able to do tomorrow. The end of the year was hectic, and the start has been just as tumultuous. Fortunately I can report with all the ups and downs things are really going well, just trying to get a grasp on all of it. So back to our Somaderm update. It's been four months since I've been 'on the gel'. I've only just now using my second bottle, usually it's one bottle per month some may use one every other month. So after four months where am I: Month One- Four out of four Month Two- Two out of six Month Three- Six out of nine Due to the fact I still am suffering from the after affects of a ten year battle with Lymes, arthritis being one of those issues, my ability to workout has been zero. That being said, any of the benefits one would see with a fitness regime, weight loss, muscle definition etc. I'm missing until I'm able to exercise. Month Four- Months 1, 2 & 3 Heightened and more consistent, absolutely! 10 years apart same bathing suit 😱 There’s a lot of #progress there but I think I’m more proud of the progress I made since the last time I posted on this account 2 and a half years ago. The changes I’ve made physically are great and all but it’s amazing to see how much I’ve grown mentally and emotionally. Looking back at the posts and cringing at some of the captions and hashtags is bittersweet. I’m happy I am not that judgmental and negative person anymore but it’s kind of sad that I was in such an angry state for so many years. So much has changed since the last time I posted and 2018 was one of the best years of my life! I really have fitness to thank for that mostly and weight lifting in particular. I was that girl who avoided carbs and lifting heavy in fear of looking “manly”. But it was been so #empowering and uplifting and made me a better person in all aspects of my life. Lifting weights gives you #strength and #confidence and tons of #endorphins 😍 I’m so #grateful for these old pics and posts because I can tell what I was doing wrong and now know how to fix it. I will always workout my posterior chain more then my anterior. Aka back, hamstrings, glutes, triceps & shoulders vs chest, bis & quads. I’m more quad Dominate do when I do quad workouts, they take over. Plus building your backside will HELP build your front! At least that’s what I’ve learned from doing this ✌️ this was close to the end of our workout but one of my new fav machines. Changing up your grip will hit different parts of the back! Pescetarian and she thick thick. _ It's hard to put a label on how I eat cuz I don't really fit any of the categories but pescetarian would be the closest for me - I don't eat any animal product or dairy but I do eat eggs and seafood(mainly cod and salmon). - -- Never felt better and my skin LOVES me. 2009 was such a life changing year for me. It was the year I started my weight loss/fitness journey. By far one of my biggest accomplishment!
