Life is not perfect, I've said every single one of those lines, however it is all about your MINDSET. Instead of frowning, SMILE! That's the first step. Life is not so bad when you sit down to think about all the good that is around you. . . ✨I am not trying to preach to you about things you've already heard, but I want you to take the rest of the week and THINK about how your THINKING. Is it mostly positive thoughts? Or it is a cyclical pattern of negativity? . . ✨ I want you to CHANGE, I want you to be happy!! Remember, if it doesn't challenge you, it WILL NOT change you. Well, I’ve been avoiding doing any reverse diet updates. But I’m forcing myself to compare my first check in when I moved back to Atlanta⏩my check in this week, exactly one month later, after a night with only a couple hours of sleep (and my lady time bloat😭). I’m just feeling so blah lately with where my physique is. Stress does a number on the body. My weight has stayed in the same range, I’m probably on average about a pound heavier now. But I’ve felt like I put on a lot of body fat lately, although coach says that’s a mental thing. . This is one month of craziness between these two photos. A decent amount of guesstimating macros. Traveling at short notice. Eating out more than usual because of travel. So basically, living. I’m still tracking daily, even when traveling. I’m in the gym 5-6 days per week. I push myself hard while lifting. I do cardio only when I absolutely feel like it, I don’t have any programmed and haven’t since I’ve been home. And my macros are much higher. Some days it’s a struggle because I’m not as lean as I have been or was. But I keep reminding myself I’m still in a great place. Easier said than done though. My focus right now is to keep my weight steady where it’s been and continue making improvements in the gym. Life has been nuts and stressful these last couple months, but I’ve stayed consistent. And now I’m just looking forward to our move to DC to be done so I can get back into a more normal schedule, which is much more my comfort zone since I’m a creature of habit. @teambossbodies

#wcw It’s not easy finding a coach that truly pays attention to you and gets personal with you. I was #blessed to find @paigebikini last year at the Olympia. We talked and connected🤩 Connecting with a coach is very important because you need it to be an easy relationship and feel open to talk to them about personal things. And she has been there for me through the toughest parts of prep and always motivating me to work harder and feel better🙏🏼 She’s paid so much attention to keeping me healthy and strong. I could’ve have asked for a better coach- she’s my inspiration and I hope to be like her one day💕 I’m extremely grateful for her! - Always be grateful and remember those who are helping you. Earlier this month I started a 30 day morning challenge that I incorporate into my normal workout routine. It’s meant to help keep me accountable. Hopefully to also help reduce me hitting a plateau. So far it’s been going well and actually gives me more energy in the morning. I’m currently doing the 21 day fix and still going to the gym. I’ve increased my calorie consumption to fuel my very active lifestyle. So, you want to do pullups, pushups, and other body weight exercises that are pretty cool? Focus on the basics first. Consistency and intensity with weight lifting. Otherwise you are putting the cart before the horse. Oh and if you need to lose body fat, that needs to be in first priority while you train. Have someone put a plate on your back to see how body fat matters. 👊 Don't put the cart before the horse. Focus on the basics first.  Lose the body fat with nutrition and portion control, if you need help let me know. Lift weights with intensity. How much? Well, if you don't need a rest in between sets than the weights are not big enough! 👊 If you already work hard but have want an extra edge, that's when nutrition, macros, and supplementation come in. Especially taking advantage of anabolic window.  That's the time your muscles are PRIMED for taking in protein and glucose (instead of your fat cells). It's for approximately one hour after a weight lifting session, or HIIT, or anything that depletes your glycogen stores. 👊 A quick absorbing protein and carbohydrate is needed.  People used to think whole food was best for this purpose, but actually even table sugar, honey, or fruit, yogurt, milk, etc is too slow to digest. 👊 But if you want the BEST, it's the quickest absorbing protein isolate Phormula-1 and the Ignition that goes with it. 👊 Phormula-1 is a true isolated protein with no lactose and down to a single chain, just like the Ignition is down to a single chain.
