I’m not gonna lie: I LOVE coffee. It’s probably the one thing I can’t start my daily routine without. I’ve trying to steer away from chugging 3 coffees a day, and have been substituting coffee with matcha 🍵 . . This morning in one of my classes we were talking about a study that hypothesized that coffee drinkers live longer. I am a little skeptical of that because it seems like everyday we see so many studies that tell you that “keto is way to live your life” or “açaí berries prevent cancer”, but is that really true? The study was very in depth and was performed on a big sample of people, but since coffee is a stimulus to your nervous system I find it hard to believe that it makes you live longer. It’s been a MASSIVE year! I think it’s the same for many people I know. ➰ @jbolin82 and I sat on the jetty last week and did a bit of reflection of what we achieved this year. We set some goals together the week before and 2019 is set to be even bigger. ➰ So we did another exercise whilst sitting in the sun. I said it’s November 2019, we are doing the very same thing, having this conversation. Tell me what have you achieved this year (2019)? ➰ We named all the things we set as goals but said it as we had already achieved them and ticked them off the list. ➰ We are programming our brain to find the path to get there by imagining us having already achieved those things. ➰ Did you achieve what you set out to this year? I was having a conversation with a friend this weekend while I was in Tampa and we were talking about the importance of dreaming big. I was casually mentioning to her the dreams I have for my business and my family, and as I was speaking about them those dreams suddenly began to feel too big. I started justifying all of it, “I probably won’t make all of that happen…” And before I could go on she said, “Nope, you can totally do all of that. You just have to visualize and declare what you want, and you will get it. “ I smiled and politely agreed, but internally I was telling myself “Yeah, right! It’s not that easy.” And then as I was driving around with her amongst the Palm trees and Spanish moss covered trees, a switch flipped in my heart. I AMdoing it, Stacy!! I have always wanted to travel for my business and this year I traveled to Italy, California, Florida, and Massachusetts for it. I have always wanted for this business to grow enough to fully sustain our family’s lifestyle, and that is exactly what we are doing. I have always wanted to have a platform to speak truth about biblical marriage, gospel parenting, and just in my faith, and now I have a podcast. So why on Earth do I doubt those other dreams I have? So here is my daily reminder for me, and all of you: God doesn’t put our dreams in a box, we do! God doesn’t give us our callings and passions with parameters because we aren’t good enough, we put those limits there. No, God uses all kinds of people in all walks of life for His will. And most often he uses the people who are seemingly unequipped to do His work. For this girl that’s a hot mess momma who loves entrepreneurship, her family, and her faith. So, how about we all become a little less focused on what we’re not doing that we ignore all the work He already has equipped us to do. 185 lbs on the left and 153 lbs on the right. My highest weight was 215 lbs. I lost these last 32 pounds during the past 7 months. After a year of binge eating and sadness I realized I was struggling with mental health issues, and I got help. Then I started the keto diet and began working out. I have finally found what it is to be truly happy, and I believe my weight-loss journey reflects that. — I’ve been extremely scared to post this comparison, but I know it’s worth it if I can motivate one person. Our fitness journey is not just physical, it’s mental. We need to put the same amount of work into our mental health that we do into our physical fitness. Blonde or brunette? 🤷🏻‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It actually doesn’t matter what you prefer because I will NEVER go blonde again - a few days after I dyed my hair I decided it would be a good idea to put bingo dabber in it for wacky hair day -my hair was a moldy green colour for a solid week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Clearly there is a huge age difference in these photos- the picture on the left my only worry was who was going to rollerblade to the corner store with me to buy a bag of five cent candies - if I would have told the person on the left what her life for the next 15 years looked like- she wouldn’t have believed me. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I was never an unhappy person - I always liked cracking jokes and being the centre of attention ( some things never change ) but even the happiest of people can be struggling. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1 thing these two photos have in common: happiness - but the in between there was countless struggles. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There was a point where I truly believed I would never be 100% happy, I constantly made up excuses and I always felt sorry for myself. I struggled with an eating disorder for a year and didn’t tell a soul. I pretended to be happy because I didn’t want people to think less of me. I remember looking in the mirror and being so disappointed and wondering how I let myself get to a point that was this low. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The problem was I wasn’t reaching out to anyone to help , I wasn’t trying to get better - I went through the same cycle everyday and then made excuses to make myself feel better. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One day ( honestly only a few months back ) I said fuck this. I always knew I had potential and I could do big things but I never actually took the steps to DO IT. Since that day I have slowly worked on being better , worked on forgiving myself when I mess up , I have realized there is 100000 things more important than the way I physically look in the mirror and I have realized you will never please everyone AND that is okay.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Have faith in YOUR journey❤️#transformationtuesday

Iso-deadlifts. Great way to work through sticking points *figure out where you suck when you get to a heavy deadlift *set pins at that point on your rack *pick a percentage(70% today for me) *pull into the pins and keeping pushing through for 6-8 seconds *do 3-4 reps with 2-3 minutes rest between sets. *try not to let your eyes blow out of your head or get a nose bleed. One of my biggest goals for 2019 is to complete my 150 hour life coaching certification and to attend a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training to become a certified instructor. 🧘🏼‍♀️NEVER in a million years would I have thought this was what I wanted to do leaving college. - I think it’s so important to be okay with the fact that your passions and what you want to pursue may change, and not see it as a failure. 🌻When you realize that what you’re doing or where you’re at right now isn’t what your heart desires anymore it’s hard not to feel like everything you did to get there was a waste of time. But time is never wasted, because if you hadn’t done all those other things your life and your mind wouldn’t haven’t evolved to the place of leading you here. 💫 - Success is not linear - it’s okay to take different twists and turns along the way. So what if your resume doesn’t make perfect sense? In my opinion anyone’s whose does is either lying or afraid to follow their true passion. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It’s okay not to know exactly what you want and how to get it at age 18, or 21 or 25... and it’s pretty ridiculous that society expects us to. - If you’re in a spot right now where you want to change jobs or cities or majors - listen to your heart. It’s usually smarter than your head. 💕
