Don’t compare your chapter 2 to someone’s chapter 20 💡it is so easy nowadays with social media to constantly compare your journey to some one else’s. Thoughts like “why don’t I look like her/him” or “how is she/he so fit and I am not” are negative thoughts that will deter us from OUR journey. Remember to be kind to yourself, do what works for you, and remember we may all be reading the same book, but we are all at different chapters. It is not fair to compare yourself and make yourself feel lesser because of that! 👊🏼❤️

🔥6 PACK ABS CIRCUIT🔥 . Dont forget to hit that like 💙 button so I know you want to see more workout videos!📽 . This circuit will have your abs screaming! (But in a good way😅) It's so 🔥! . Repeat circuit 3x! . 1🔸️ Ball Plank Tap Off- 20 taps (10 each side) this is definitely not for a beginner, as this requires a good amount of upper body strength and stability. If you dont feel comfortable doing this on the ball you can do the same thing on the floor just tap your feet side to side in a plank position. . 2🔸️Around The World Leg Lifts- 10 reps . think about making a large circle ⭕️ the bigger the circle the more challenging it is!🔥 also remember to place your hands under the booty to give your lower back some support! . 3🔸️ Twist Sit ups- 10-12 reps . Make sure you use your abs to twist as you lower to the floor and then use the strength of your abs to sit back up. . Dont forget to hit that save for later!!!🙌 . ✖️BACK ATTACK😈✖️ • First off, happy Friday #fitfam! Hope everyone had a great week and is ready to kill these weekend workouts!! If you are looking for a Back Workout to do this weekend, I gotchu covered.....👇🏽 • 🔹Clip 1: Wise Grip Cable Pull Down 🔻4 Sets x 12,10,8,20 Reps 🔸Looking to get a wide back?? Then throw this exercise into your routine! Do you best to arch your back a little and “pop” out your chest and focus on pulling that bar down to your chin/upper chest level! • 🔹Clip 2: Seated Cable Underhand Grip Row 🔻4 Sets x 15,12,10,10 Reps 🔸Grip the bar a little wider than shoulder width. Keeping your elbows into your side, pull the bar into your belly button, and focus on squeezing your lats for 1-2 Seconds before allowing the bar to return in. • 🔹Clip 3: Machine Row 🔻3 Sets x 10 Reps 🔸This is my absolute favorite back machine. For these I prefer to do them alternating so I can go a little heavier and really focus on the side that is being worked. • 🔹Clip 4: Side Lat Pulldown 🔻3 Sets x 12,10,8 Reps 🔸Sit sideways on the machine and focus on pulling the bar down directly behind your head. This one feels a little uncomfortable at first, but I promise it’s a killer. So start with light weight and figure out your form. • 🔹Clip 5: Hammer Strength Pull Through (Neutral Grip) 🔻4 Sets x 12,10,8,20 Reps 🔸 Another great exercise to help build the thickness of the back. Focus on keeping your elbow in and close to your side as you pull the handle down! • Be sure to give this Back Workout a go!! I spent so much time thinking that all of this was too hard for me, I didn’t have the time, bad genetics, and that I would be wasting my time on fake dreams! ______ Honestly I wanna punch that me in the face 😂 bc Now I would’ve been like suck it up Janny you’re being a lil bitch! Life isn’t easy and anything worth dreaming about def isn’t gonna cut you any slack either. If you want results, the work is 100% DOABLE and necessary considering I’m able to scroll insta and see so many women doing what I WANT looking how I WANT! ______ I’m such a watcher maybe you are too? Today, i had an appointment with @resolveyourpain since my lower backs been hurting more than usual. And this was a way different experience than ive ever had in any other therapy (physiotherapy, chiropract, and massage therapy). So basically, he tested my nervous system to figure out what was the source of the pain, and what the game plan is to fix it! We found out that my lower back pain is caused because my lower back muscles do too much work, and the rest or my core doesnt do enough. So obviously, i have a couple exercises to help me out a little, and ill be returning next week to see him to keep working on this little problem of mine. Not to mention, i think this is the first time im told whats wrong, why its happening, and how to make it better! Which is SUPER important 😇 Ill you guys posted!! One of the things I struggle the most with is consistency. And it happens to be the second most important factor to reaching your fitness goals. (The first is patience 😉). - Does this sound familiar? You find an awesome plan you’re excited to follow. You start out super strong. Then life gets in the way. You decide to put watching just one more episode of “You” before your scheduled gym sesh. - And then by the end of the month you throw your hands up and say “THIS PLAN DIDNT WORK!” You’re still at square one. - That’s me. Right there. To a T. But I have learned that it isn’t the plan. It’s me. I have to take responsibility for breaking promises to myself. I have to ask if that extra hour of video games was really worth it instead of working on my goals. If it is, great! But at least you understand why you’re still where you are. - You should always have a plan. But you’ve also got to work it and work it CONSISTENTLY. Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither can our bodies be. It’s uncomfortable to change. But nothing spectacular ever came from anyone’s comfort zone. - Happy Friday friends ☺️ As you go into the weekend - the most notorious time to ruin your consistency- just remind yourself what you want, and then remember that you’re strong. You can and will be amazing. 💖

This is me with no diet and continuing doing my weight training and some cardio. . It took me a while to just relax and enjoy life, instead of harming myself with self talk of how my body is not how it looked during prep. . I did start prepping after thanksgiving, however, instead of enjoying being newly engaged and planning my dream wedding, I was moody, agitated, irritated, and constantly arguing with my new fiancée. . I decided to take step back and reevaluate my priorities. Nonetheless, I would like to see my body leaner, but I can’t shake this feeling of contentment. #spiritualgangster #happymindhappylife

You need to earn it 🤷🏼‍♂️ - It’s certainly comforting to think that forces in the Universe will combine to find you the right role that fits you like a luxurious glove, or that will make you successful because you have been working “hard”… but those forces don’t care about your bank account and happiness levels. Nobody owes you that. - And thank goodness nobody owes us anything. Feeling like we will one day be presented with what we want; be it a relationship, a job, or a shiny car, just because we are “good” and we “deserve” that, is a debilitating delusion that keeps us passive for far too long, and then bitter when the world doesn’t work out the way we want… - Remember, you “deserve” nothing, if you want something you have to earn it 👊🏻

I’ve reverted back to starting my chest workouts with dips like I used to when I first started at gym, (2.5 years ago?), so if you see me attempting them, pls yell at me to do extra!
