After I lost all my chubby weight, I also lost a lot of muscle as you can see on the left 🙃 LEFT IS 2016 RIGHT IS 2018 I’ve gone through it all of starting, stopping my goals, trying out FAD diets, being a cardio bunny and doing all the wrong things possible. However, that never stopped me from training or pursuing my goals. HAHAHHAHA I’ve had girls who I no longer speak with of course, who used to put me down for posting too many progress photos over twitter. And can I just say, I wish her well and that her opinion has nothing to do with me. Her toxic, negative and spiteful energy only shows me how insecure she was with herself. Let me tell you something, there will be plenty of people who you know socially, as acquaintances who will do anything to put you down due to their own jealousy and demons. My advice? Pray for them and focus on you because if I had listened to any of her tweets or the responses towards it, I wouldn’t be where I am today. It's never about me showing off, it's about utilising any platform I have to share an important message. I remember when I took this photo, it was almost 2years ago and I remember how accomplished I felt when I actually pulled myself up from the bar. I did it. After countless jumping around, I finally achieved somewhat of a pull up. I believe that any girl can do it no matter how "weak" they think they are. Look, I get it - the last thing you need to see is ANOTHER fitness photo with a long ass caption but tbh, i could careless. I want to continue to show young girls, mums, older women, younger teenagers, boys - WHOEVER IT IS, that they too can make changes in their life. I know how it feels to be insecure about your body and not feel confident. Even to this day I’m still low key scared to just wear this type of outfit to the gym because I’m not the fittest and I don’t feel 100% comfortable doing it - it’s just not me (unless I’m doing a video or PHOTOSHOOT) ..so I don’t. However, every time I go to the gym - I definitely do push myself to do something that is out of my comfort zone because having confidence gives you posture and you should be in the gym worrying about getting the gains and nothing else. Your body can change as long as you change your mindset. The reason I do what I do is because I strive to show younger girls or females in general is that people’s opinion of you doesn’t matter. The only opinion that matters is the one you have for yourself. So stop letting other people’s insecurities into your own heads. Let them say whatever they want, just make sure you don’t believe it because as I always say, it’s only a reflection of how they see themselves. People’s negative comments have NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU but all to do with their own insecurities. That may be true for those haters out there who are unhappy with themselves but that doesn’t have to be real for you. Hahaha I found this photo of myself from when I was in Highschool and I remember how unhappy I was here. I had such a low self esteem because I believed them. If anyone has told you that you’re not going to make it, I’m here to tell you that’s not true. DON’T LISTEN TO THEM, YOU DON’T NEED TO BELIEVE PEOPLES LIES. struggling to find something to post other than a mirror selfie😂 • i had a 2 HOUR AND 15 MINUTE leg day tonight & it was fab. got a fuck ton of squats in & not so many deadlifts. plus like 3 other exercises too. burned over 1000 calories. it was wonderful. swipe to see some squats & deads & me failing at pulling a second rep even tho the bar literally came off the ground🤦‍♀️👉

NO EQUIPMENT full body workout! . Little workout to get that heart rate up and you dripping with sweat (if you’re doing it in blistering heat like I did anyway☀️💦). Sometimes people think that volume is the most important thing in the gym. Don’t get me wrong volume is super important when your trying to increase PR’s and get stronger, but the thing that counts the most in the gym is the effort YOU put in. Hate to say it but if you are putting in half the work that you are capable of & you are not fully pushing yourself, you are not going to see the results you want. Practicing progressive overload in the gym gym is extremely vital to this. Progressive overload isn’t just getting that one more rep. It’s EVERYTHING in the gym. Pushing more reps with more weight, and overall just doing more. Think of it in literal terms, you are literally overloading yourself. Isn’t it annoying when you go to the gym to train glutes but you only feel it in your quads?? Solution ☝️ Doing glute activation essentially warms up your glutes before your lift, a lot of people like to refer to it as “turning your glutes on”. I swear to you this makes a huge difference in your training.
