Dinner time 🌱 Made a miso aubergine with stay crispy tofu and roasted broccoli πŸ₯¦ Made the satay using a tsp each of peanut butter, garlic/ginger paste, miso paste and then a tbsp dark soy sauce and heated in the pan with some spray coconut oil and stir fried the aubergine and tofu in it, adding a sprinkle of panko crumbs at the end for last minute❀️

After quite some time time being plus 10% body fat it’s now time to lean out & plan for my next show!

Reverse curls πŸ’ͺ This is a great exercise to work your biceps, brachialis and brachioradialis. You want to do this exercise never the end of your workout 1️⃣ Don’t go heavy as this is a slow and control movement, it also put a lot of stress on the wrist if you go heavy 2️⃣ Hold the bar shoulder width apart with a over hand grip and keep your back straight and soft knees 3️⃣ Slowly pull the bar like you would on a bicep curl and squeeze the muscle at the top of the movement 4️⃣ Once at the top slow put the bar back to we’re it started as the eccentric part of the movement is the best for hypertrophy training 5️⃣ You want to have 3-4 sets of 10-15 reps on this exercise πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ Comment below want exercise you want to see next πŸ’ͺπŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ

Some days just feel like you’re going backwards...but not today!!!! Was feeling really pumped for a gym session when I woke up that I couldn’t stick to just cardio. So I decided to mix it up and do a few of my favourite exercises from my @joelryanpt Chest and Back programme to vary it up and everything clicked right today. A lot of us have a bad habit of going on social media through our phones STRAIGHT THING in the morning. Not only that, we fill our brains with news, whatever pops up on our feed, tonnes of videos that we mindless scroll through - ALL takes up space in our environment, your mental environment that is. Everything affects your environment - the way you dress, the people you surround yourself with, to the food you eat and again - the things you allow to go into your mental space. From cardio bunny to lifting heavier. I had a skinny fat/chubby phase before the before photo πŸ˜‚ hence why I used the term cardio bunny and hence why I look a lot skinner. Nothing wrong with the left photo, I just found that I wasn’t happy with where I was. I share it quite often but I got cyber bullied a lot growing up and was made fun of in real life for that matter. I still remember to this day when I was deadlifting JUST the bar, I was laughed at because I struggled THAT BADLY. Little did they know where I was in my fitness journey and that I had metal in my spine which actually played a huge role with my fear. So my point is, don’t ever judge anyone in the gym just because of what you see on the outside. You have zero idea of where they are in their journey and you should be happy that they’re actually making it to the gym and making a commitment to a healthier lifestyle. It goes both ways, stop caring about what other people say or think of you because they don’t understand what you’ve been through and you don’t have to take time out to prove to them what you’re all about.
