2015 vs now 👶🏼👵🏼 a sh*t transformation picture but a massive (also slightly cliché) mental transformation! ☁️☁️☁️ Left: I only cared about my weight, I was obsessed with cardio because I just wanted to burn calories (fyi not even an effective way of burning calories) and I followed SO many fitspo accounts that promoted being underweight and calorie restriction. Now my focus is primarily on my health and well-being. The human body is incredible and gets taken for granted all the time, so it makes sense to strive to be as strong and healthy (both physically and mentally) as possible. Calories aren’t scary! They are literally units of energy needed by your organs so that you can survive and grow, how crazy is it to not give your body what it needs!? Food is fuel 💪🏼💪🏼🍌💛✨

• cha(lle)nge • this were 50 push ups on the smith machine bar from a few days ago. did this after my upper body press session and t‘was such a good finisher as i really could feel my chest and triceps on this one after the workout in which i already did a whole lot of supersets 🤗 give this a try! 👍🏻 just set the bar at the bottom of the smith machine and perform amrap. if you can’t do any more reps, set the bar up higher and go on. i reached 50 reps at about 2 minutes time 🙌🏻 inspiration for this is was by @stephfitmum ✨

Oct. 20, 2018 | I forgot to post yesterday so I’m posting this today lol better late than never 🤷🏻‍♀️✌🏼 - Did legs yesterday and it was amazing! I had 0 energy to go to the gym I was literally dreading it. I went anyway and once I got on that stair master I just had this boost of energy come out of no where! 💪🏼 - On those days where you feel super unmotivated, just get that workout done anyway!! The lateral pulldown The lateral pulldown, or lat pulldown for short, is a compound exercise that works the muscles of the back -- particularly the latissimus dorsi. Build this muscle to reap significant functional and aesthetic benefits for the back. While the latissimus dorsi is the primary muscle worked, the biceps and muscles of the forearm act as helpers. Several of the muscles of the rotator cuff also assist as you pull the bar down. The smallest muscle of the chest, the pectoralis minor, is another part of the body that helps you perform the exercise,making it a staple in many strength-training routines. How to perform Lateral pulldown 1. Begin by taking a seat and adjusting the leg pad so that it’s comfortable but prevents your legs from moving. 2. Once you’re happy with the position, stand up from the seat, grab the bar with a wide grip, (for this example we’ll be looking at wide grip pull-downs, as they tend to target the lats the best) with your hands wider than your shoulders in an overhand grip, and whilst holding the bar, sit down in the seat and place your legs under the pads. 3. Extend your arms over your head, to form a V shape, keep your abdominals tight, and lean back ever so slightly. 4. Next, keeping your body still, exhale, and slowly pull the bar down to you, so that it just grazes your chest. Your elbows should now be pointing backwards. Breathe in, and extend your arms fully over your head until you feel a deep stretch in your back. 5. The weight stack must not slam, but should come pretty close to touching. Repeat for as many reps as desired. 6. Remember to keep your body straight and to not lean back for momentum. I’ve been eating like an asshole these past few days but I’m generally a really active person so it balances out lol. I also never deprive myself of “cheat” foods. This is the reason why I don’t bloat when I eat pizza, pasta or large burgers cause my body is pretty used to the sodium and carbs. I have a really healthy relationship with food + my body and I’ve never been happier being able to maintain a fit and healthy figure with a little fat cause it’s nice to be a little thicccc 🔥 lol 😂

I had an amazing training session today! Bench was moving really well (surprisingly!). I failed 47.5kgs x2 last week and now just did 4 reps easily. ⠀ 1. Comp bench 47.5kgs (85%) x4 2. Comp bench 47.5kgs (85%) x4 even a bit faster cuz it was the first set lol 3. Low bar squats 40 kgs x6 WITHOUT ANY PAIN!! My back pain has improved so much and is almost completely gone (fo’ real this time). And I can squat LOW BAR! Not even high bar, but low bar without pain. Y’all got no idea how happy this makes me. ⠀ Seeing @daniellamelo bench 136 kgs at Raw Nats just motivated me so much and I used this motivation to fuel my bench sets today. This showed me how mental this sport is. I used to always treat the weight like it was the heaviest shit ever. I mean you need to treat every weight with respect, but this works for me and I’ll continue to do this. Bench never felt this good! This was so smooth and so easy. Try it next time you feel like the weakest person to ever set foot on this earth (though smacking yourself in the face works just as well). ⠀ I haven’t posted about it yet, but after fucking up my back I decided to work with a coach who will not only help me get back on track but also push me to do the work I used to avoid. My coach is @emilynorleypl and she has been helping me so much. My technique has improved massively and my back pain has also decreased immensely. I can only recommend to get a coach even if it’s just for a short period of time. I would not be where I am today without Emily. Thank you so much!!!💗

🏋🏼‍♀️ WHY I ALWAYS TRAIN ALONE 🏋🏼‍♀️ Some people asked me to train together but I just don’t like that, I always feel bad when I have to say no but I do it for myself because of the MMC (mind muscle connection)💆🏼‍♀️ 💪🏻alot of people talk about it these days but I always used it, I don’t even know it had a name 😅 so why I train alone? Because when I train I always focus and try to really think about the muscle that’s working, try to feel it move, it makes my workout much harder and I really feel the burn then 🔥 but when I train with people I can’t focus and I can do like 30reps without feeling tired when someone is talking to me 😔 That’s why I love to train alone, concentration 100%, workout 100% just everything 100%, no one to disturb you...
