If you have not tried making your own coconut yogurt at home...you should!! It is so good and ridiculously simple! * * * * * Recipe: (For one quart) 2 cans classic coconut milk 4 capsules probiotic (with 50 billion strains) 2 tsp vanilla (totally optional, highly recommended 😜) -Mix all ingredients in container of choice. (You can mix in a blender if you’re having trouble getting the probiotic blended) -Cover with a cheese cloth, coffee filter, nut milk bag (anything that will still allow it to breathe) and a hair tie or rubber band. -Leave on the counter for 48 hrs. (You can check it after 24, or you can just forget about in until 48. 🙃 The longer it sets, the more sour it gets) -Once it has reached your preferred sourness, pop it in the fridge and eat it as needed. We’ve all experienced the strawberry science project growing in our fridge after a few days of purchasing or picking strawberries!! With strawberry season fast approaching I thought I’d share a little tip for keeping them fresh in the fridge just a little longer! Mix about a 1/5 cup of apple cider vinegar with some water. Dump your strawberries in the water for a few seconds, remove and let drain. Do not rinse. Store in the fridge as usual. Anybody hitting chest today? _ Check out this movement by our Main Man Elite Trainer and Performance Coach @stefanianev _ One of the hardest parts of the chest to isolate is the outer lower fibres without the front delts and middle pec fibres comming too much into play. For me personally my middle chest is very dominant and takes over on most chest movements. For some guys it's the front delts. Too much middle chest in comparison to the upper and lower parts makes you look like you have tits instead of a well defined pec line. My chest is big enough that can I probably fit in a C cup bra but I don't like my shape. I lack that lower outer sweep and the upper fibres that give the chest that armour plate look. That's partly genetics but also my fault for overdoing the heavy bench presses. It's great to claim a 4 plate per side bench press but who really cares if your chest looks like crap. This year I have cut out all my heavy presses and am focusing on improving the shape of my chest instead of just going for pure size. That means focusing more on isolation movements and quality of contraction. A fantastic movement that I discovered recently that really targets those outer lower fibres is the kneeling cable crossover. This movement must be done very deliberate and controlled and stoping 3/4 of the way down. If you do this like I have described above and as illustrated in the video you will feel it in that lower pec line like never before!

Blueberry oatmeal bake! Dry ingredients 2 cups of GF oats Flax egg (2 T flax meal, 6 T warm water) put in wet mixture 1/2 cup hemp seeds 1/2 cup sliced almonds 2/3 cup shredded coconut 1/4 cup chia seeds I tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 cup blueberries or berry of choice Wet ingredients Flax egg I mashed ripe banana 1 tsp pure vanilla 3/4 cup almond milk (room temp) 3 T of melted coconut oil 1/4 cup maple syrup OR agave OR honey Mix the dry ingredients in a big bowl, saving some of the nuts, seeds and coconut to sprinkle on the top! Mix in a smaller bowl the wet ingredients. Pour the wet into the dry and put in a 8x8 greased casserole dish! Add the blueberries on top and gently press them into mixture slightly. Sprinkle the reserved nuts, seeds, and coconut . Bake at 350 for 40 minutes ! Green juice for me, and my favorite flowers for someone special. 💚🌻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I get my greens in EVERY single day. That’s something I never want to miss! It’s a non-negotiable habit of mine. I eat a salad each day, sprouts, spinach, broccoli, kale, greens powder, seaweed, and all my other favorite green veggies. I also LOVE greens smoothies with a scoop of Garden of Life grain-free, vegan protein. Green juice is another way I get them in real quick on the go. I’ll munch on raw greens throughout the day. Towards the evening, I’ll bake two HUGE trays of kale & broccoli for a treat. Not everyday will be perfect, life happens and emotional eating is something I definitely struggle with. This weekend I went all in with the junk food. My body does not feel well but, I DO NOT feel guilty! This is a lifestyle change and some weekends just call for cooking unhealthy food and hanging out with my best friend and enjoying life. Today I’m back on track and motivated to get to my goal weight! I love how easy it is to get right back on track with program because it’s given me the tools to know how to lose weight and how to keep it off!
